Legacy Product Information

Motoyoshi Fleet Yards was acquired by the Yugumo Corporation in YE 41. These systems were deployed in vessels produced prior to that year and have been discontinued. Product Source is currently salvage and stockpiled stock and is no longer being produced. Please contact the Yugumo Corporation for more information.

Introduction

In YE 30, Motoyoshi Fleet Yards was slowly being phased in as primary military contract service for the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet. The Shouri Armor project was created to design, manufacture, and produce a layered armor and frame system capable of being deployed on newer starship classes.

For the most part, the Shouri utilized existing technologies but combines them in combinations that suit the role of the starship construct it is being included in.

Later that year, Motoyoshi Fleet Yards switched to the United Outer Colonies. The use of these constructs was used then in the construction of United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces with the omission of any materials that were considered restricted technologies by the Star Army of Yamatai

Shouri PA Armor Series Type 1A Construct

The Type 1A construct is for 'light' armors. The design is ideal for armors playing an interceptor or light infantry role.

The Type 1B is the “middle of the road” construct for power armors. It is a balance between weight and strength.

The Fullerene layer consists mostly of forcefield with fullerenes suspended within it, the fullerenes can be shifted by manipulation of the field to mass at the site of impact, since the layer is mostly composed of forcefields it is highly resilient against antimatter attacks.
