In a ceremony today in the Empire's capital, Star Army supreme commander Taisho Ketsurui Yui oversaw the retirement of Ketsurui-Chinomai Minori, her second daughter and long-serving Star Army veteran, from the office of the Director of Star Army Personnel, and the change of command from her to the Deputy Director of Star Army Personnel, Ketsurui-Shinjuku Hanako. Nataria Fleet Depot, Nataria--A combined fleet comprising the bulk of Kuvexian Imperial Navy Forces, and several anti-planetary dreadnaught ships have launched an invasion of massive scale on the fortified Star Army planet of Nataria. A massive and costly battle is now underway between the the Star Army and the enemies, who are nearly evenly matched in ship numbers. Rough estimates put each side at around 26,000 ships at the start of the battle, and the number of ships has increased due to Star Army reinforcements and Kuvexian calls for mercenaries. Jun System - Happening now: The Star Army of Yamatai put out an alert that the Jun system was under attack by the Kuvexian Navy. A force of over 2,000 military star ships matching Kuvexian Navy design, mass, and energy signatures was detected arriving from hyperspace in the Great Southern Nebula in the vicinity of the Jun system. Jun System is an important manufacturing center for the war effort against the Kuvexians and has a large industrial resource extraction network built by the SMX during the First Mishhuvurthyar War. It has a population of over 50,000 workers. The Star Army of Yamatai's planetary defenses consist of one Frontier Starport that was established in YE 34.
