Kyoto, Yamatai -- The Star Army announced today that they have selected the First Expeditionary Fleet's new commanding officer, Taisho Motoyoshi-Yamada Ayano. The Taisho, freshly promoted as of today, is a faithful and loyal Star Army admiral who previously was serving as the commander of Gemini Star Fortress and Hotaru Star Fortress before that. All admiral promotions must be approved by the Empress of Yamatai, and she has done so. Ayano's command style is described as talkative, positive, and workaholic. Star Army Fleets defend the Yamatai Star Empire in and around Yamataian space, whereas Expeditionary Fleets go on far-away missions to distant places or other universes.
