Approved Submission Sesestra Gamma Star System

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
colonized by the Sesestran Colonial Union one thousand forty five years before the existence of the Star Empire of Yamatai
I'm not sure humans had even left Earth that long ago, so I'm iffy on this part. I mean, it's been kind of an assumption that the old Nepleslians were the first humans to set up in the Kikyo Sector.

Also, the populations of these systems seem quite high, if we compare them against IRL Earth. Can you talk about that a bit, explain it in the thread here? I mean this single system would be bigger in population than the 40 systems of Yamatai so that's a major shift in the universe of SARP.

Technical/layout issues I noticed that need fixing:
  1. Planetary layout section needs some text. It doesn't need to be much, but it has to have something.
  2. Headers should be followed by text - please move the description paragraphs for the planets over the images to fix that need.

His previous explanation can be found in his last submission. Basically, they've been around a thousand years and wow did they ever propagate.

These can either be assumed to have been an isolated group of those who where cut off (their language is effectively a regional dialect of Nep) or perhaps merely a first group that mysteriously vanished, in the end however the exact time frame and margins for it are in your head and not on the wiki. So I moved with assumptions and it was good enough for Doshii to approve and for you to approve the first time Sesestra Alpha's page rolled around.

In real life Earth is scheduled to hit 10 billion people by 2050 with a tech base thats centuries behind the Sesestrans and hasn't even colonized the solar system, the Sesestrans on the other hand have effectively spread to every nook and cranny of the Sesestra Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta systems in pursuit of resources and fusion fuel. Both isolation from alternatives and a difference in planning compared to Yamatai (the entire system is a resource to them) leads to this level of concentration. The best way to think of it is the way the Solar System was in Cowboy Bebop but on a magnitude far greater.

I'd also like to note Yamatai is a terrible comparison for anything considering population dynamics and development of a star system, most if not all of those 40 systems you claim merely consist of a flag strike and maybe a token community of a few thousand. Yamatai's expansion is driven not by resources or the need to house a growing population (arguably you have the technology to house your entire population in space colonies in the home system) but by a mixture of in character imperialistic policies and out of character exploitation of military build up limitations. The Sesestrans on the other hand are more modeled toward a realistic setup though with some generous layouts (terraforming helps), in the end they benefit from not being staked in the in character history over the last decade or so giving me the ability to portray them as a realistic space fairing society rather then one stuck dealing with the trappings of past roleplay.

Fixed.

Where is it going to be physically located on the main map?
