Submission Type: Uniform/Clothing
Submission URL: https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=wip:ye_39_crew_pattern

Faction: Nepleslia
FM Approved Yet? No (HOWEVER, the FM has been informed/involved with the uniform since its conceptual inception. This is mostly to @Gunhand4171 the chance to read the final cut.)
Faction requires art? Yes

For Reviewers:
Contains Unapproved Sub-Articles? No
Contains New art? No
Previously Submitted? No

Notes: It should be stated very clearly, as some out there still do not understand the exact intent.

This Pullover is only optional to Crewman. It isn't required nor even available to traditional PA/Infantry grunts.

I hope that clears up the confusion. This has been a WIP concept that started when we originally began the Uniform Update, but has finally reached fruition and been made into a proper article to begun moving through the NTSE. Changes were made to also make it appealing to Crewman, as it gains small benefits (entirely utility versus defensive), and to further make logic of why Nepleslia would modify the uniform thath as done them well over so long. Hopefully, with these changes, the uniform becomes both fitting and adjustable to explain what few questionable deviations of the norm for Nepleslia might be.

Hope that this submission appeals to all those out there who love the idea of piloting something like the Corona or any of Nepleslia's few ground vehicles.

  • The image is so large that the wiki is not working with it properly. Replace it with a resized (smaller) version please that is properly cropped. I can assist with this if you need me to.
  • I think you should make the thing that clearly looks like a buttoned front closure actually be a front closure. Stop pretending it's a pullover and just call it a jacket, because the looks should match the description.
  • Overall seems like a ton of tech for a uniform item.

Which image? Juno or the chibi Ella?

I had made it so that if someone wanted to remove the hem and present it as a singular color, it was possible. However, I guess I can reform it to a jacket.

As for the tech: it seemed less of a stretch than many of the other things I've seen around when it came to cloth and uniform technologies. If absolutely impossible to work with, however, then let me know and I will remove the collar function. The temperature adjustment, however, is a feature I think seems still practical and not entirely a stretch in terms of the setting's technology.

Edits have been made, including the removal of the buttons. I feel the polymer/temperature adjustments, again, aren't too much of a stretch for the uniform especially when considering this is a special variation intended to be worn only a minority of the NSMC, which even then are not required to wear this. If these changes are still not enough, I will regretfully remove its ability to determine how it handles temperature regulation/support.
