OOC 4th Fleet OOC Thread

Am a wee bit stuck on the plot as I have 3 players trying to join. One should be cleared easily enough. The others are more complicated as one is supposedly a Red defector and the other is the rumored SAOY defector. IC and OOC issues abound when it comes to defections... Worst case scenario is that I will have a GM post up by the weekend.

Be advised that in a week and a bit's time I'll be in Malaysia, so posting might be an issue depending on how often (if at all) I can get Internet access.

I'm really sorry for not warning you guys earlier, it's just that I only had the dates confirmed very recently.
 
But if I do that I'd probably end up hitting the wrong house!

I forgot to mention it, but I'll be back on the 16th of August from my trip or thereabouts.

The way you introduced Anima was neat. I wasn't sure if she was going to be all robot-like or something like that and your intro post kinda showed an interesting blend of human and robot, to be more specific you showed the emotion(self conscious about size, particularly height), discipline(standing at attention despite the desire to slouch), as well as the legitimate robot side of her(saving images to databanks rather than just saying 'remembered'). Definitely nothing I was expecting. It'll be interesting to see how a character like that develops.
I'd like to think in actively playing in this plot and a side thread sounds great!

Sorry about the big post, I've head a crazy day. Like 'almost dying' crazy. ;)
 
Thank you so much! Your encouragement means a lot to me, English is not my native language so i had a bit of self-doubt when i started to write. If what i write sometimes doesn't make any sense, feel free to point it out and i'll re-phrase! I don't think i will able to write as rich and elegant posts as the rest of you though.

I think we have an interesting mix of characters here, both for drama and comedy ;)
 
Sorry, things got unexpectedly hectic this week as I needed to take the cat into an ear specialist and extra homework got piled on at the last minute.

As a FYI, though I may be able to post whilst I'm on holiday, it may not be a good idea to rely upon it. Therefore, if it's okay with him, I think I might temporarily allow Sigma to control Stan so that I'm not holding everyone up until the 16th of August.

Though if he wants I can still try to post when I get the chance.
 
After much thought, I have decided that I need to take some time off from SARP. My cat has just finished a major surgery so I will need to take a lot of time to care for him (right now, he's bumping into walls and furniture). Plus, my Master's program is going to only get more intense. I would open the floor for some one to take over as GM of 4th Fleet, if there is still interest in it. However, if not, there is nothing left that I can do. I apologize for the suddenness of this announcement but that's the long and short of it. As to my presence on SARP... I'll respond to PMs but I won't be checking the forums actively.

Sigma said there's no co-GM to take over in the interim, so let me ask: any volunteers?
 
Right. In Sigma's absence, as FM of Nepleslia, I'll be taking the first person to volunteer that has at least a month of experience in RPing in a Nepleslian plot.
