Senate Proposal #71
Cancellation of #70

Purpose:

1. Despite the overwhelming support for Imperial Senate Proposal #70 (Special Investigation Into the Empress's Death), no action has been taken by the investigation team (most planets didn't even bother with an investigator), thus making #70 a waste of time and resources.

2. The #70 Proposal was just an attempt to take a cheap shot at the Emperor anyway. No evidence exists that suggests the Empress' death, (which was already thoroughly investigated by SAINT and SARA) was anything but a suicide.

Proposal:

1. Void Imperial Senate Proposal #70 (Special Investigation Into the Empress's Death).
 
(Eh, isn't John supposed to have the Gashmere senate spot?)

I may not have explained earlier, but don't you think the whole thing is pointless? Not only has it been much too long, but for all the interest in the Senate, nothing happened. Proposal 70 passed, and there's yet to be an investigation. Unless you all want to kick it into gear, just let it go.

I just want them to admit that it wasn't just a suicide. The empire if full of totalitarians and dullards anyway. Bunch of nekos and a guy who can't seem to stay out of bed with any one of them. I say DOWN WITH BIG GOVT!!!! mwahahahaha

(With that being said..)

Through hours of meditation and self-question, I, on behalf of Gashmere vote to end the investigation into the of the Empress's death. It is a clean-cut case in which sufficient evidence has been presented to rule out all other possibilities.

Nataria votes no.

And challanges the motion to close.

We believe that the investigation should still take place, and there are many questions that still need answering, including the nature of the message that was cut off, and the others stated in Proposition 70.

Furthermore we would challange Hoshi no Iori's second point, that it was only a cheap shot at the emperor, we would like to see any evidence for that.

In adition we are still intrested in a full, independant inquiry into the circumstances around our late Empress' death. We are still pationate to know the full details about everything surounding it, and all factors that could have led to it.
 
If you, Nataria are so passionate about it, why did you not appoint an investigator? What exactly would be the point of an independant investigation? No one has said how the investigation will take place.

(OCC: I put him forward in the original proposal 70, but forgot to post on the investigation board.)
 
Then Nataria should have put him in the Investigation Board list.

Will someone please answer me: how the hell are you going to "investigate"? Besides "looking at SAINT reports and going from there" which is hardly a sufficient investigation outline.
