OOC [OOC] Lorath, Helashio, and LSDF Discussion

with a new semester comes a new schedule which brings about a new work schedule. This week is iffy for my schedule, so next week I should know for sure.

Okay, everyone update thier schedules if possible, I would like to see if we can schedule another JP sometime to move things along a little faster.
 
Unlike others, my schedule is static, I'm only off friday and saturdays, I work all the others, and am home at around 9pm my time.
 
I had a question pass through my head recently.

The Lorath's homesystem was called Lor, but for several centuries earlier before, the Lorath were exiled under the earth while the Helashio ruled as the dominant species of the planet. Was the planet or the star named Lor then? That'd seem unlikely that the Helashio would name their planet or star after their enemies.

And what about when the Lorath and Helashio coexisted?
 
Hm... I personally think of it like "Terra" and "Terrans". The race adopting the title from the planet. Even more so, I think that the Lorath would dub themselves as such due to their mindset of being the rightful dominant species of the planet.

Of course, a final statement on that would be left up to my better half. (Tiff)
 
I would say Lor has always been called Lor by Lorath even durring thier exile. The Helashio name for the planet is probably lost in the central archives somewhere, unless an anthropologist wants to go spend some time in a tribal group of Helashio and learn it for themselves.
 
I just started to think about it when fred said something. I was thinking that before the exile, it was called "The mother planet" or something like that, then during the exile the Helashio kept the name and the Lorath created a name like the deep, or the darkness for where they were, then when the Lorath retook the surface, like Tomoe said, they called it Lor due to thier thought of superiority.
 
Were mostly SP, but I'm hoping to get some JP durring the next week(as I should be availible).

Jeff feel free to start posting SP, as soon as your character is approved.
 
We haven't made a lot of progrss lately. I've been stalling a bit so Jeff can jump in with no problems, his character should be approved soon though. We are going to speed up a lot this week, so try to keep up, ok everyone.
 
Don't be afraid to post everyone, post, interact, lets get this ship rolling!

Also how are peoples schedules this week? I'm strongly considering JPs this week, or at least a number of mini JPs to move the ship along at a faster pace.
