This is little something I am helping Sigma with and he asked me to post this up here. If this article get through we are looking forward to use this ship for new plot. Plot advertisement will be posted after this article gets trough the NTSE.
 
I'd like to know when we can get the ball rolling on this. Shotty and I have been turning away people until we've got this plot approved.

So, please, can we get something going?
 
Plot ships ate approved in the Roleplay and Setting Discussion forum using the guidelines in the Apply to Become a Gamemaster article. No NTSE approval is necessary for a faction to build a ship of an existing class. So I'm not sure what is wanted here.
 
NSS Venus

Plot Concept:
NSS Venus is new scout ship serving in Star Military of Nepleslia. It is a Hray type scout ship, with mission to scout Border regions. This will be long term mission with almost no backup from the rest of the military. Crew is consisted only from the Navy personell.

Being in unknown region, which are everything but empty the crew must find a various ways to survive, overcome and be successful in their mission. Not to mention they need to learn how to deal with stress and long time spent along the same faces.

To sum it up: The plot will be a lot about character development. We will throw people into area where they cannot expect any help. Only ones they can count on is the rest of the crew. We want the people to build relationships and have fun. This plot will be 18+ for a reason so people can go all out.

That said second plots drive will be adventure. People will encounter a lot of adventure along the way so some action can be expected too.

Plot Format

NSS Venus will be mostly SP plot, be we seek to utilize pad for JPs between two characters or character and NPC.

Recruiting Plan

We are going to recruit mainly on this site, since this is kind of plot that is better off with people who already know setting. So far I have one person who put in real interest, few others asked me about it.

Previous Experience

Main GM of this plot will be Sigma and we all knew he has plenty of experience just on this site. I GMed in past too, though only in my native language. On this site I inly GMed USC Zenpyu for several weeks.

For Sigma just head over to 4th Fleet forums. Mine can't be sadly given because I don't even have the links of those czech forums anymore and they are in czech, so that is that.

Free Time

I am free most day of the week and even when I am busier then usual, I make time to check SARP. I am easily reachable via forums PM and you can find me on IRC most days.

Other items of interest

For last I want to make clear this will be 18+ plot and we want people going in realize that. They can expect such things as sexual scenes or possibly violence and swear words.

I'm okay with this plot if there's interest. I think if existing members apply to this plot, they should transfer a character to it instead of making a new character, if possible. Plots made of alts tend to be less stable.

How many existing members have PCs who are NSN sailors? This plot is purely to showcase the NSN.

I agree with the sentiment but there's probably not enough out there to transfer into this plot.

Yes players will have to make new characters for this, which is also preffered if you think about what the plot is about. Character development among other things.
