Hello everyone I am Wolfe I found this place only a couple days ago I haven't decided what plot to join. I am open to suggestions of all kinds

I've been through most of the wiki and looked through the plots and noticed a few things first for plots there are some that say "Limited" instead of Open or Closed and I am not sure what it is supposed to mean. Also I wanted to know if I can make a force lance like weapon where it is basically a staff that can shrink down to about 10-12 inches long from a 5 foot 6 inch metal staff while also having a plasma pistol integrated into the center structure

Limited usually means that they're looking for certain types of characters or there's not much room left. In this case it's best to both check the roster wiki page and either ask in the OOC thread or (most plots have a list of characters in them) and start a conversation (forum PM system) with the GM of the plot.

"Force Lances" aren't allowed because they're are from the Andromeda TV series (in the same way we don't allow Star Wars' lightsabers), but I think an expanding lance that can shoot would be okay.
 
Ah that makes sense after all with how many people are members of the SARP it probably gets quite hectic.

And of course i didnt want to rip off Andromeda (Which i loved) but still having a Force lance type weapon would make my day.
 
The description of what they do is listed where it says "damage."
Damage: High potency coherent laser beam capable of slicing through conventional materials like a hot knife through butter. (PDR 4)

Damage: Deep, heavy, painful burns to organics. Damages metals and melts plastics. Not always fatal, but frequently crippling. (PDR 3)

I think they're fine weapons to use for a character.

  • Casing (70 KD)
There is no description for any of them

I now feel a little stupid as i figured out what they were for....
 
I didn't write the article so my guess is as good as yours. I assume the "laser emitter" is your basic laser sight and that the precision lenses make it more accurate. I think the casings are sheaths/holsters. If you have some ideas, the can be submitted in the NTSE forum as additions to the article.

They are the parts that i would have to replace over time. They are simply for maintenance
 
@Wes Would it be possible for Vel to have modified his Laiz pistol so that it accepts Spec2 Leyflar Supercapacitors which, besides being slightly longer, thinner, and more expensive, are exactly the same as the normal Supercapacitors? Its just something that i believe Vel would do to make his weapons more efficient (not needing 2 different types of ammo that is exactly the same)
 
Sure, if he has the skills to do that, or paid someone to do it for him.
 
Unless the character is Iroma, it would be remarkably expensive to get any Iroma weaponry, since those are military only items, and the Iroma have excessively limited contact with the rest of the setting.
