100% YAMATAIAN ZESU KATANA QUESTION

Do Zesu blades become blunt from use against lesser materials?

Do Zesu blades become blunt or damaged in Zesu on Zesu action (armor or another blade)?

Can a Zesu blade cut Zesu armor?

If a Zesu blade becomes blunt or damaged due to contact with Aether or Antimatter, or due to reasons above, how are they sharpened, rehoned or repaired?

How widespread is the use of Zesu blades in personal articles and in Power Armor?

Does Yamatai make less-than-zesu swords for practical or ceremonial purposes?

Yes they are listed Under construction. Zesu means price x4 which is pretty expensive. And I think it is there since GM still has to approve the general weapon so if the char would have no chance to have zesu blade, he would not. And this is what is writeen for it on the General Melee Weapons wiki.

Zesuaiaum
Arguably the most coveted material for a melee weapon, obtaining anything made from this material is likely impossible - being completely restricted to the Empire of Yamatai and its military forces. Sometimes, zesuaiaum weapons can be found in the possession of Samurai-type Nekovalkryja and other similarly important persons.

But you said now that zesu weapons are attainable, evne though they are very crude, since it is pretty much cut from pieces of hull.

So, the big blade on the ABSR is Zesu? It doesn't mention it. Is it sharpened? I know it was briefly mentioned before, but how effective would that or a Zesu sword be against PAs? With and without shields/barriers.

Yes, it's Zesuaium. When covered in Aether, the sword can cut through almost anything, including other Zesuaium swords and power armor. It's not, strictly speaking, made to attack shields but it can still damage them too.

So we have a short list of things that can damage Zesu. . . but what about cutting it slowly and carefully? Just plasma torches do the trick? Or are there other options?

It's basically just aether and plasma, with aether-based cutting systems being the most effective and precise.

Shoty though you are correct both use heat, they are fairly different in how they get hot. Plasma is super charged and heated gases, while a laser is just a tightly focused light ray all on the same wave length.

the Zesu could reflect the light rays in a way that it does not heat up itself.
