50 foot mecha?

Wes, in the description of the Avenger-Class Carrier in mentions 50 foot tall mecha. I know nothing about these, and yet if there's combat I'll have to use them.

So can tell you tell me anything about them?

Capacity (any of the following):
5,000 Power Armor (Human-Sized),
2,000 Mecha (50-foot), or
1,000 Fighters.

Well, the Elysians have armored mega-Seraphs (think Evangelion).

Hmm... Just one of those mecha things is asking to sound like a boss from the Metal Slug games.

I bet the Elysians will be more happy to put a lot of them into the ship, and wreak havoc and whatnot.

Sounds like something I was planing as well for my Golem series. They'd rip the turrets off of space ships and such.
