Just letting everyone know that yes I am alive but I'm not posting much for a while since I was in a rather bad car crash on Friday. I was T-boned by a Truck with a trailer and I'm currently taking Vicodin, Flexeril, and Motrin to try to reduce the pain in my back. It feels horrible and I've been sleeping a lot due to the meds, so sorry in advance if I blip off for a while.

Apply a heating pad to help relieve the pain and an icepack to bring down some of the inflammation. Worked for me when I first injured mine, a pillow under the knees can also help while laying flat with that heating pad on the back.

Don't forget the alcohol (after you're off the pain meds).

You may also wish to see a chiropractor, they may be able to help with the immediate pain and reduce any long-term damage.
