RP: YSS Soyokaze A New Force (4.0)

Jei snapped form his mini-trance with multiple blips ahead of the strike team. "Multiple contacts inbound on the strike team, but they have touchdown." Jei flicked weapons around but was starting to receive problems. Turrets were all firing but were coming up to overheating. The array was cycled, but it would require movement to get under the firing arc, Jei was running out of hands. He thought to himself what to say but had run out of words. He lifted his hands from the console and stared into his palms. He didn't know what to do and it was starting to show as the pressure continued to rise.

Freyja still hadn't come down from her adrenaline high, but still had enough sense to try and not make an even bigger fool out of herself as she cloaked and started searching for heads to pop, and marking them.

She stuck to Misato like glue, holding her fire for the moment, searching for especially high priority targets like enemy squad leaders and snipers. "Lets get dangerous."

YSS Soyokaze, Assault Shuttle

Pavel let out a sigh as the Shoi Kohosei took a leap of faith into the skies of the planet below, then with another sigh strode towards the gaping abyss of the shuttle's rear entryway, pondering the disturbing notion that he was about to engage in combat. How, exactly, did a Medic such as myself come to a situation as militaristic as that of which I am presently a contributing factor of? A doctor is supposed to heal those afflicted by the destructive actions of war and strife - not participate in those aforementioned actions! Sighing yet again, the Kodian paused as he reached the previously-mentioned abyss, pausing momentarily to take in the vista around him - only to immediately regret having done so. О, ебать меня.

It wasn't that the Kodian was afraid of heights, rather, it was that he was highly reluctant to exit a perfectly-functional shuttlecraft mid-air - and quite knowledgeable of the grievous injuries that could be inflicted upon one's self should any number of things go wrong during the lengthily descent process.
Fate, however, had other plans - for it was at that moment that the Alligator shook. Whether it was from atmospheric turbulence or from evasive maneuvers (due to the shuttle having come into the extreme outer range of the defender's anti-aircraft weaponry) was something Pavel would never know, however the end result, regardless of the cause, was the same:

With a shout of "проблематичный!," roughly 1.45 metric tons of man and machine was sent plummeting downwards to the surface below.

Mevar, Atmosphere

The second-eldest Lazarev child panicked momentarily as he tumbled through the air, the ground approaching at an ever-increasing velocity - that is, until said child remembered something rather important:

He was encased in a suit of hilariously over-engineered Powered Armor that, crazily enough, happened to have a CFS system equipped. Ah. Initiating the activation sequence of this suit's propulsive subsystems would most likely be quite conducive to the percentages of myself surviving my trek through this planet's atmosphere.

Suit, activate Combined Field System and... - Pavel had to suppress a sudden wave of nausea, most likely induced by the PA's erratic tumble - please stabilize my, correction our, descent.

Code:
Acknowledged.

Fortunately for Pavel, the suit's highly-capable AIES was able to compensate for the HELGA's chaotic flight pattern within seconds.

Unfortunately for Pavel, the AIES immediately released control to the suit's occupant with no warning whatseover - thus causing the (unprepared) Medic to resume his dive planetwards. BWAHHHHHHHHHHH!

Mevar, Surface

A reasonably-loud WHUMPF!, along with the obligatory slight tremor and plume of soil, was the indication that the aforementioned 1.45 metric tons of man and machine had finished its sojourn throughout the atmosphere.

Groaning, Pavel picked himself up from the ground (Драгунов быть дамнед, что было, безусловно, не очень приятный опыт) and unleashed a maelstrom of aetheric energy from his PA's shoulder-mounted Aether Shock Arrays - or would have, had the Medic remembered to charge them prior to making landfall.

Thus, Pavel, instead of contributing to the "militaristic situation," was instead rewarded with an error message.

Code:
=== ERROR ===

Insufficient charge detected in:

R_AETHARRAY
L_AETHARRAY

Would you like to initiate the charging process now? [YES/NO]

Pavel swore. блестящий. Yes, please initiate the Array's charging sequence.

Code:
Acknowledged.

R_AETHARRAY......INITIALIZING (000.00%)
L_AETHARRAY......INITIALIZING (000.00%)

TIME UNTIL CYCLE COMPLETION: 15.000 s

With a sigh, the Kodian dashed for cover. This occurrence is most certainly problematic in terms of my combat efficiency...

  • О, ебать меня - Oh, to f**ck me
  • проблематичный- Problematic
  • Драгунов быть дамнед, что было, безусловно, не очень приятный опыт - Dragunov be damned, it was certainly not a pleasant experience
  • блестящий - Brilliant

SPAAAAAAAAAAAACEE!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once the Tin Man Warmed up and fired it's Aether array point black into the core of the Soyokaze the fight was pretty much decided. No amount of plot armor or Ikea armor layers would protect her from the amount of energy being forced through her mid section. To an outside observer the three ships had be just dancing about each other along with fighters a PAs zipping around in a large blender of swirling dervishes. Though though who had been watching the simulation through the right computer channels had seen the lights of the weapons and the projected damages scaring the hulls of the ships. Then all of the sudden all the forces in space came to relative stops to each other. for when the Aether blast had torn through the Soyokaze, it had just winged the Main reactor and Aether energy storage pods on the ship. This cause a very quick domino reaction, starting with the complete explosion of the large Battlecrusier, followed but a massive reaction blast that engulfed both the Casper and the Tin man, bringing their destruction along with their preys. All of the PAs and fighter craft that were near the combat zone also were taken out. Bringing the space portion of the battle to an end.
~~~~~
Bridge
~~~~~
The lights on the bridge and every compartment along the axis of the Aether assault, blacked out and stood off for a couldn't of thirty before the red emergency light came on. Looking at the crew, who now on the bridge looked blood stained in the light, Saeko smiled and stood up pressing a few points on her screens, to bring communications up with the two escort's bridges too. "Well It seem we are dead, But!" She smiled and winked at her own crew, "We may still prevail Our ground forces are now in effect and you have no space force left to call upon to help the base out."
She stepped down into the mid section of the bridge. "I want to commend my new bridge team in their actions, Them and The bridge staff of both of the Tin man and Casper are invited to a dinner I have set out. I have feeds for the Combat below up on large screens, and some popped corn ready for the show."
She sent a mental command to the ship's AI to bring the ship back up to full operations and end the space portion of the simulation. "Please prepare your stations for your relieves and move down to the lounge." She smiled to her bridge crew and then bowed to the commanders of the ship's who just blew her and her ship out of the ether.
~~~~~~~~~~
Planet Side
~~~~~~~~~~
With a few mental commands she sent her ground team into a "V" formation with herself at the point, flanked by the Kodian and Freyja. "Freyja please shoot at the nearer ones first..." She had a feed of The neko's targeting cam and was watching her waste time hunting for prized targets. a snap order was sent out by her to the other ground force that had been bring in the tanks. "Fire support on grid B." She fired her simulation rounds at a group of unarmored ground forces splattering them with paint, but for her PA team they saw the troops splatter with blood and fall to the dead with readings of their termination.
The base's forces started firing back from behind different forms of cover. Only popping out long enough to spray a few rounds at the Soyokaze's forces before rolling back behind cover. they were the biggest issues, the heavy weapons being set up in the opening to the hangers and command tower were. Pavel kindly take three others and take that hanger over there. She marked in his huds the hanger in question. It was marked to be the ammunitions bunker.
Jei sat straight up, and looked around. This was a test? Well, it was a great way to make us fight to our last...or was it. He didn't think of it. As the simulation switched to live, He set the firing switches to normal standby, and the Aether Array's firing key to offline. Before setting the console to standby as well. He stood up and bowed to his CO, before walking for the elevator.
He felt his mind begin to relax, but he felt uncomfortable. He began to tremble slightly, but attempted his best to stop until, at least he hoped, the elevator would go down with only him inside.
Station 42
Elina waited for the response from Nenene, looking over the room. She scowled a bit as things were happening beyond her control at the moment. She had her Saint ID still as the person who was doing the search, hadn't reached the spot where she kept it.
Mevar, Surface; Fort Mevar
With a very noticeable wince, one Kodian's vaunted mental processes came to a crashing halt as the Shoi Kohosei's orders could be heard over the internal speakers of the former's M10 MCAS PA. O, yebat...an assignment such as that which has been tasked to myself shall prove to be an extremely challenging endeavor indeed, particularly when one includes the quite important aspect of myself possessing a negligible grasp of the capacity required in order to facilitate the commanding of others; however, regardless of the aforementioned impediments to the successful completion of this exercise, the phrase "orders are orders" is still highly relevant in this situation, ergo, I shall do my utmost in ensuring the fulfillment of my duties. Now, to initiate a means of communicating my acknowledgement to the other soldiers that comprise this squad...
Code:
COMM_CHAN [ALPHA]: LIVE
Nu togda......although of great utility, I would be dishonest in not feeling a sense of wariness with regards to the intrusiveness of this powered armor's interface systems...akh.
"Da, Koho-sei..."- the Medic paused, glancing around for a brief moment for the purposes of ascertaining which squad members were unengaged in combat - "Eira-Hei, Aiza-wa-Hei, Saku-rai-Hei, with I."
"Haiiiiiii!"
"Of course."
"Let's go!"
A moment later, said Medic sighed as, upon hearing the vibrant and youthful voices of his squadmates over the radio, he realized the grave, grave mistake he'd made.
He'd chosen three rookies.
Rookies who, judging by their rank (Santô Hei, the same as the Ursoid's own), were just as inexperienced as he was. Blestyashchiy...This may prove to be a problematic hindrance; then again, one such as myself is by no means an expert in the arts of destruction, either; ergo, it would be inappropriate to be judgemental of others based on martial skill alone. Sparing yet another glance at the hangar, he sighed - as, for the first time in the Kodian's life, he felt completely and utterly out of his depth.
"So..." Pavel paused, fired a brief burst at a particularly-opportunistic DAISY-clad opponent, then continued on - "...any have ideas?"
YSS Tin Man
"Sato-juni, alert the Casper, have Mite bring over a shuttle to pick me and Honda up for our dinner party on the Soyokaze." Lulu said, standing from her chair with a satisfied look. She'd won. Well, sort of. The objective was achieved in either case, and the benefit of a simulation was that one could throw away their resources in a desperate bid to win and not truly lose anything. Lulu cupped her chin between thumb and forefinger for a moment, perhaps considering the philosophical implications of throwing a figurative ship away for the greater purpose of winning a metaphorical battle fought in real space against-- no, wait. She was actually deciding what to wear.
"I think I'll wear that black number. It makes my skin look even more pale, but it really does give the boys somethin' t' think about." She said, testing the weight of her sizable breasts with each hand.
"Excuse me?" Asked Honda, narrowed eyes suddenly darting up from his work.
"Meetcha in the shuttle bay in ten minutes, Hon-kun!"
YSS Soyokaze, Shuttle Bay
The shuttle that arrived from the Casper made a brief stop at the Tin Man before pulling into the Soyokaze's hangar with little ceremony. With the ground team launched, all that remained behind in the heavy cruiser's spacious launch area were the armorer dregs who's job it was to clean up after a hasty launch and prep the bays for repairing and refitting returning equipment. The milled about uselessly picking up loose air hoses and mopping up coolant condensation while the shuttle disembarked its passengers.
Two Star Army officers flanked what appeared to be the port whore in a sector with poor senate representation. Lulu had retreated to her quarters while Mite wrangled a shuttle and the red-headed captain had donned a slinky, knee-length dress with a plunging neck and sheer, flowing sleeves. She'd also found time to equip a large, floppy grey beret and matching scarf. This, along with her cuffed, full-length black leather boots and carefully arranged faux-pearl necklace made her look both incredibly tacky and incredibly desirable to any who could tolerate a curvaceous form in a galaxy full of men who said things like 'flat is justice' and 'man the harpoons'. Confidently, Lulu tossed her fat braid over one shoulder and emerged into the hangar with one hand resting on a cocked hip, sharp eyes surveying the length and breadth of the spacious facility. Her companions, Chui Yamatago Mite and Shoi Honda Kozu (Her long-suffering XO) emerged alongside her, both struggling to keep their palms away from their embarrassed faces-- for they stood next to the least appropriate, most eager to party, lease likely to succeed captain in the entire Star Army.
And she had absolutely no reason to be ashamed of herself.
YSS Soyokaze - Bridge
The twins raised their hands when the simulation was done and blinked, looking at each other for a moment in surprise. They were vastly relieved that this was not the real thing, but even still...they were mildly shocked. Then they both broke out in a smile, knowing that, if this was the real deal, they hadn't really lost anything in the way of memories. They would have just gotten new ones and been assigned at another time on another ship...or even this one again!
"Dinner party?" They both asked at the same time, turning to Saeko. "Should we-" Herdis started to ask. "-change?" Aldis finished up. They were not quite sure on the etiquette of such things yet. Also, they only had what was issued to them. No chance yet to get anything else to wear.
YSS Soyokaze - Bridge
As the elevator doors began to close, Jei looked at the command group with an expression close to the famed "1000-yard-stare" and leaned back against the far elevator wall. With a sigh he closed his eyes and rode the elevator to the deck holding his quarters. The stressed Hei felt a mix of relief and shame. If this was real, he would have let the whole Soyokaze be blown to the aether, but was relieved by the fact that he seemed calm throughout the training operation.
YSS Soyokaze - Mid Decks
Jei stepped out of the elevator and walked towards his quarters section. Upon arriving, he unlocked the door then motioned his way to his bunk and collapsed into it to burn off his stress before changing into something formal for the dinner party he heard little about, and that he probably should have stayed to hear about. He began to think about the interview that climaxed into a full-throttle romance, that would have been lost to the vacuum if this was live. That, he knew, he felt relieved about. Even if she didn't.
Nenene frowned as she listened to the explanation. "If the ship was being boarded the appropriate altert would have been sounded" she replied. "As it was, no intruder alert was sounded and we were in no threat of being boarded by hostiles" she went on " as it is, this was a training simulation, there was no enemy threat, so drawing a weapon was only created a danger to those around you"
The purple haired neko let that sink in. "Civilians are not authorized to be armed aboard a military vessel" she said as she picked up the pistol, clip and spare round. "I will be taking these"
Elina just nodded, sighing. At least she wasn't going to the Brig. "All I knew was the ship was being attacked and that usually mean boarding parties soon follow. This is like the second time I've been aboard a warship. And don't know ship protocols, alerts or what ever things means when certain lights flash." She moved to finish up getting things secured and cleaned up.
Jei switched into a calmer mood and commenced to change into his spare duty uniform and folded the other one for storage and cleaning. He brushed away his previous thoughts and went to remembering what systems acted where as he walked out of his quarters towards the lounge. He hoped his thoughts hadn't made him late.
Seako smiled at the twins. "If you would like, there isn't any stand for ceremony for the dinner party, it is a time to relax and hang out with the rest of the crew after a great start to our new voyages." she winked. "though I know I for one will be getting out of this uniform before I get down there." She winked one of her jet black eyes before turning to the elevator.
~~~~~~
Lounge
~~~~~~
Stepping through the hatch into the lounge she looked around. Dressed in a blue dress she made her way over to the bar counter and ordered a drink. Sipping on her drink, waiting for the rest of the crews to arrive, she watched the ground assault on the large volumetric screen. It was like watching a pretty good action flick.
Hanger
Pavel's assault on the hanger along with his three new subordinates, now faced a hanger with a pare of heavy machine guns, working the main entrance. They were giving out a goodly amount of cover fire, closing off the best way into the command and control building for the base. Tracer fire and smoke, flashed and drifted across his and the three Youth's field of vision. There were two ways into the hanger from where they stood, one was a gallant charge directly at the heavy weapons, the second through a side entrance, a pair of doors guarded by what looked like just a pare of Daisy wearing nekos.
Near the C&C tower
Misato and her band, including Freyja were having to fight from behind a few concrete road dividers when the artillery strike that she had called in finally started to rain down. Loud burst of flame started to fill their external pick up mics, "There we go folks, If the medic and the group he took have suppressed the heavy weapons we can move now." She waved her arm and jumped over the barrier to charge the tower's main doors. Fire from the top of the tower started raining down on them. "Freyja take out that weapon's fire from up there."
Jei panicked and jogged back to his quarters to change into a formal suit, He remembered to himself that it was probably formal and there would probably be crews and commanders from other ships. After getting his best suit on and together he walked towards the lounge, making himself look calm and collected he finally arrived at the lounge doors.
He straightened his tie and sighed as he realized his only good suit was the one he wore to the interview. He dismissed the thought and walked calmly through the doors and nonchalantly found himself at the bar ordering wine. He felt collected enough to position himself beside the captain watching the ground battle play out, occasionally sipping from his drink quietly.
Lounge
Honda and Mite came in first. Neither of them realized their senior officer had stopped in the corridor to pull a compact from her brown handbag and apply a quick layer of perfectly kissable and not quite whorish lipstick. The two officers, still in uniform, walked into the lounge with widened eyes and exploratory expressions. Neither of them had ever served on such a large ship since entering the officer corps, and this was the first time they'd seen such a spacious lounge. Both stood just inside the door in awed silence and just a hint of reverie; Mite with her hands crossed respectfully over her lower stomach and Honda with one arm resting on the hilts of his swords. Without thinking, he traced with his thumb the Task Force 77 sigil on the tsuba of the blade that the Admiral had given him as he took in the majesty of the mighty force's flagship.
And then she walked in.
Lulu had always had a good sense of timing. For as lazy and irresponsible as she was, the woman had walking into a room down to a science. With swaying hips and a casual air calculated to turn the heads of anyone who'd watch, she walked past the two dumbstruck officers who'd accompanied her and went right for the bar. In one graceful motion, she slid onto a stool and crossed her legs while twisting to put her back to the bar. Next, she tossed her fat braid over one shoulder and leaned back to give the bartender a wink that asked for bourbon with no ice. Scoping out the talent in the room, the only men to enter so far were Honda (who was definitely off any list she kept) and a younger boy wearing a business suit that just screamed discipline. She almost didn't even notice the show playing on the far wall until she noticed her XO's gaze locked on the ground team's movements and tactics with iron resolve. He seemed to almost be vibrating, and she could tell he was either enraptured by the team's competence or holding back the orders he would've given if he were there. He was also somewhat blocking the view.
"You'll have to excuse Hon-kun." She said, leaning over to the Soyokaze's captain and her tactical officer with a cute smile. "He used to be a ground-pounder, and he's always waving those sharp metal sticks around in the dojo-- musta never got it outta his system, eh?"
Mevar, Surface - Fort Mevar
Pavel - along with the three rookies he'd selected earlier - took a moment to catch their respective breaths behind the relative safety of a particularly-large cluster of boulders; Tsukiko-Hei, for whatever reason, had responded to the Medic's query by simply dashing off in the direction of the aforementioned boulders (with absolutely no warning beforehand) - and had thus (inadvertently) landed the ad-hoc group in its current predicament.
Specifically, the predicament that resulted from being pinned down by the very accurate fire emanating from two tripod-mounted Type 30B Machine Guns stationed in the entrance of (ironically enough) the very hangar Pavel and the others were supposed to be assaulting.
The Kodian peaked out to the left of the aforementioned rocks - only to immediately regret doing so as, in the split-second his PA's head was exposed, his suit's shields flared from the impacts of multiple 35mm rounds. Chert![Damn!]...there must exist some solution that would allow for us to accomplish our objective of capturing this storage installation without suffering casualties inflicted by those proklyal[cursed] gunners. Furthermore, none of our team's members - myself included - had the sagacity to ascertain the distance that exists between this location and the facility itself for the purposes of teleportation, ergo such a tactic is denied to us - for without precise jump coordinates, one could all too easily materialize themselves on the opposing side of the hangar, or worse yet within the aforementioned structure's wall.........
Pavel's self-deliberations regarding his (admittedly poor) knowledge of combat tactics trailed off as he vaguely remembered something he'd caught a glimpse of during his incredibly brief attempt at reconnaissance - only to resume seconds later as another glance (along with the follow-up burst of 35mm rounds) confirmed his suspicions. Ah, otlichno![excellent!] An area of weakness such as this one would most likely have an extremely large chance of being vulnerable to infectoi-correction, an assault from the efforts of our forces; additionally, barring any unexpected opponents that exist within the objective itself, Kokoro-Hei and Masao-Hei should encounter little to no difficulty in "eliminating" the two operators that current man the two machine-guns. All that remains is to distract said operators, however, therein lies the last known barrier to successfully completing our task - for risking the chance of detonating the facility's vast amounts of ammunition would be foolhardy at best, yet there exists no other alternative that would sufficiently draw their attention, unless... The Medic's thoughts trailed yet again as it occurred to him that there indeed was a way of distracting the gunners.
Roughly a minute after arriving at the rocks, the group's single Ursoid member had, for all intents and purposes, figured everything out regarding their plan of attack - which, crazily enough, was fairly simple. Pavel and Tsukiko-Hei would provide a diversion so that Kokoro-Hei and Masao-Hei could (using their PA's teleportation units) teleport over to where the (hopefully-distracted) DAISYs were located, dispatch them, and infiltrate the hangar before any of the defenders realized what was happening. Upon finishing his explanation of this, Pavel received a...variety of responses, to put it mildly; after assuaging the numerous questions of Kokoro-Hei, everyone was ready to go. The Medic smiled - This endeavor ought to be of extraordinary interest - then, with a tone that belied just how nervous he was, spoke a single word over the team's communications channel. "Go."
As the Medic said this, the small timer located in each corner of each strike member's HUD began counting upwards from T = 000.0000s.
♫♫ Pacific Rim - Epic Orchestral Cover by Parademics ♫♫
T = +001.0196s
With a silence seemingly at odds with its massively oversized bulk, a lone MCAS bolted upwards a dozen or so meters - then, as the aforementioned machine-gunners (equipped, similar to their door-guarding teammates, in the viridescent alloys of the DAISY II) began to frantically open fire on the frightening large, frighteningly close, and frighteningly unknown PA that had appeared before them, Pavel opened fire with the HELGA's gargantuan shoulder-mounted Ke-M10-W3700 Aether Shock Arrays.
Said Arrays then proceeded to cause an enormous plume of dirt, rock, and semi-incinerated vegetation as they began carving a (virtual, thankfully) trench into the surface of Mevar - for instead of targeting the gun emplacements themselves, Pavel had, for reasons unknown, opted to settle for annihilating the ground that lay about ten meters in front of the hangar's entrance and although the Kodian had (seemingly) missed, the operators of those emplacements, however, wouldn't exactly be emerging unscathed - as while they weren't "terminated" by the Aetheric beams themselves, the pressure wave resulting was more then enough to send the Type 30B Machine Guns and M6-2a DAISY II PAs tumbling like bowling pins.
T = +004.0196s
Pausing for a brief nanosecond in order to switch capacitors, the Shock Arrays of the MCAS - barrels now glowing a dull, ruddy orange from thermal buildup - continued firing as the HELGA-clad Medic chose to target the same exact area as before, essentially widening (and deepening) the "trench" created by the "first" beam; the results from this action, of course, were almost exactly the same as before - a large plume of dirt and rock erupted in the wake of the beam produced by the Arrays, rendering any attempts at observing the rest of the strike force hidden behind the cluster of rocks nigh-impossible.
T = +004.5000s
Amid the "smokescreen" provided by their Ursoid squadmate, Santô Heis Eira Masao and Sakurai Kokoro activated the teleportation modules equipped on their M2-3a Mindys; with a shockwave of energy (camouflaged almost perfectly by the aforementioned cover), the two seemingly disappeared as their material forms suddenly became rather immaterial.
T = +007.0196s
Pavel smiled as, with an almost-imperceptible flicker, the Arrays switched to their third (and final) set of capacitors. Thus far, my hastily-improvised plan of assault seems to be functioning with an astonishingly-high level of successs; however, having thought that, future events will probably not occur in a manner as orderly as those that have taken place prior to this moment...
Jei put an awkward smile to the other captain and sipped his wine. Clam yourself Jei, Calm yourself... He seemed to calm himself enough to say something,
"They seem busy."
Hallway Outside Medical
"They just keep coming!" Isrun grumbled as she marked another extra crispy engineer that not even copious amounts ranch sauce could help. "How bad is this going to get?" she then complained.
"Keep up the pace, Run-chan!" Kana grinned as she looked like she was almost stacking people, "You can complain when we die!"
Medical
The place was filling up fast; but thankfully there were still some whom Chieko could pump with hemosynth then kick out the door. One, however, caused her to stop. A male minkan that looked to have nothing wrong with him; but his eyes told her she wouldn't need the PMS1 to figure out why he had been sent.
His thousand yard stare was not the first that the biologist had ever seen; but the thought that it wouldn't be the last chilled her slightly. For triage, she really could not do much for him; however she did find a blanket and set him behind a curtain to relax. In her head, though, she flagged him as someone to check every few minutes.
Once back to her place in the (re)assembly line, she began noticing a marked increase in those arriving in a milder form of terror and obvious injuries that their markings did not align to. Something did not look right, and the minkan scientist began to wonder. She looked out into the hallway and saw what amounted to Kana's over-enthusiasm.
The literal piles of holographic injured and deceased caused the Joutou Hei's jaw to drop. Then she saw another of them fly through the air and land on the 'correct' pile and looked back along the holo-projectile's path. There was the pink haired chemist collar grabbing with one hand, writing with another, then tossing.
Chieko's mouth closed, then twisted into one of those smiles of extreme disappointment she had been the victim of by her mother. "Mitani-san," she called out pseudo-calmly, "What do you think you a..." The young scientist was cut off by the sudden shake and lights out, then the red lights showing everyone splattered with blood.
Isrun sighed, then looked away from her final patient, "Does this mean I can complain now?" The two smiles that were suddenly directed at her as the holograms disappeared and the lights came on made her shake slightly. Chieko maintained her freakishly angry smile while Kana had acquired a guilty grin.
Soyokaze Lounge
Elina slipped into the lounge and took a seat in a corner. Feeling way out of her depth as she watched the action on the ground via the Vid link with the ground troops. She wondered why Saint had put her aboard the Soyokaze as a civilian Specialist in Up keeping of Morale of the crew. She had survived her first ship to ship battle and was still free from the NMX.
She nervously looked around at the others and the new comers that had arrived. Some seam outlandishly dressed for the occasion to accent their physiques. There was a few times she had done the same thing in the past just to please the promoters for public appearances and interviews in the early days of her entertainment business.
She was waiting for the NXM to dropped the mind control to reveal the true situation that they had successfully captured the ship, even though it was a drill from the way the crew was acting. Maybe this were part of the act to get her to lower her guard for her wake up back on the Moon Base 2 to crush the last defenses to get at her knowledge of the codes that SAINT had given her as sleeper agent. She had to be more careful with the last of her hold outs in weapons.
