FCS A’aenalin
Prince Esari emerged from his quarters and onto the bridge. It had been a quiet night, a welcome relief after the Battle of Celunithar’s Gate. The pink haired Vespan walked up behind the bank of science stations on the right side of the bridge. "Where are we at?" he asked as he examined what was on the projection display. "Quaen mothership is charged and ready to connect with the Transuniversal Array. He smiled slightly and patted the young Vespan female that manned the station on the shoulder. "So better than last night. Time to get this moving," he said as he retreated to his usual active post on the side on the Ops table."The Taesi just messaged, Voli. Grand Admiral Islerius reports that they are ready to go when we are," the communications officer reported. The bridge was a fury of activity for an early morning, it was all hands on deck for this size of an operation, almost every station had a member of the crew posted as everything was checked and rechecked. The feat that they were about to preform was nothing short of a miracle; to move an entire world from one universe to another, and ensuring it ends up in the correct orbit of its host system. One of the young Vartans (Ensigns) approached the prince from the right side and handed him his usual cup of tea. He nodded in silent recognition of her efforts, then took a sip of the hot tea as he studied the various star maps, scan data, probe data from the probe that had returned from the Kosuke Sector just hours before.
Admiral Igera took her usual place when she was on the A'aenalin, across from the prince on the other side of the ops table, "Ready to move a planet, Tia Voli?" Aiya asked as she too began checking the scan data and other information.
"Ready as I am going to be. Lets get this started!" he said as he had the communication channel reopened with the rest of their fleet. "All ships in formation, those assigned to the A'aenalin's group will be making the breach first. Then once we are on the other side we will send word to the mother ship to initialize the planetary breach. The remainder will breach after the planet with the Taesi. We're going to make some history today. Lets forget about this stupid war for a little while and focus on the real work. Esari out." He terminated the communication, and then opened another to the Quaen Mothership as he observed them docking with the transuniversal array above the northern pole of the planet.
"Quaen team here, we are ready and connection with the array is nominal and at ready for activation," the voice of Ujin Eitan confirmed.
Esari gave a reaffirming nod as he looked across the table to Aiya. "You better find a seat..." he said as he backed up the platform and into the command throne. The Admiral was close behind taking the chair that would usually belong to the first officer. "Ready Transuniversal Breach Drive, confirm coordinates in Kosuke Sector, Grid 0210." he said as the internal forcefields in the ship activated and the dimensional tap reactors were taken offline and their residual power transferred to the capacitor system so they could switch from Asune to Aether when they reached the other side. "Breach Drive ready, tia Voli" the pilot responded to the order.
"Here we go!" Esari said, "Jump." There was a loud hum as the ship's transuniversal breach drive activated. The ship appeared to distort as it was pulled into the vortex created by the drive. The ships assigned to them followed suit as the system flickered with bright flashes of plasma that tore from the rift. The movement between Chrystalis and the Kagami Galaxy made the Prince feel a bit nauseated, he exhaled deeply as it appeared the entire ship was twisting. There was another flash and they arrived on the other side. The excess energy being burned off and pushed through the sublight engines to push them away from the vortex as it closed. One by one the ships in their assigned group arrived.
Esari and Aiya both got up and returned to the Ops Table. Esari opened a transuniversal communication back to the Quaen mothership. "We're here and in one piece. Send it when you are ready." No sooner had Esari spoke, the planet appeared with the usual time dilation effect. the Admiral confirmed the coordinates and smiled, "Lorenz is in orbital position and on the correct access." Cheering erupted across the bridge as their mission was proven successful. They had not only liberated the world, but had kept their promise for their move to the Kosuke Sector. As they celebrated the Taesi and the rest of their group arrived as planned, including Lorenz Citadel.
"Send a message to the Interim Governor, tell him the move was successful and Grand Admiral Islerius and his ships are in position to secure security in the system. Also inform them the crew of the A'aenalin are permitted thirty-two hours of leave on Lorenz to attend the celebrations." Esari ordered, a smile on his face as some of the crew was still reveling in the feat they had all achieved. Soon it would be time to enjoy the celebrations with the people they had freed from Sylix and Vaelaris.
The prince said through vesper to the communications officer, "While we are here, please try and see if you can reach the Alyelume, they should have made it to Njord by now.
