This suggestion is that we:
  • Put products in the items: products: namespaces
  • Put all unique character items in the items:unique: namespace
Now that we have struct we can use it to filter products by manufacturer.

The first part -

  • Put products in the items: products: namespaces
That will be a bit of an undertaking due to all the products listed under corps and their sub-namespaces. That might take some mass moving magic on your part.

In terms of -

Put all unique character items in the items:unique: namespace

Yes.

I feel like the corp namespace works just fine for the purpose of storing information about corporations and their products. If it isn't broken, don't fix it and all that.

Having to assign schemas to a hundred different inconsistent corp product namespaces is broken compared to having one space for products.
