"This is Astral News Distribution," said an Iromakuanhe announcer with black hair that hugged her face in a short cut that was next to a stony-faced and white haired Iromakuanhe man. The two announcers sat at a sleek, beige table with blue lines bisecting every once in a while on the edge with a starry night sky's background behind them.
"Breaking news tonight," the male announcer said as he turned to face a different angled camera and the video feed switched to the one he now looked at. "A Dahbi-class colony is under attack. The same missile platform that nearly wrought havoc on our planet, Mazerin, with cobalt-salted fusion weapons years ago is an imminent threat. The perpetrators? The New Veyrin Republic."
"Yes," said the female announcer as the camera switched to her while she placed her hands together on the table. "We are getting information that a wing of the Astral Vanguard known as the Setareh Wing captured a General of the NVR, which led to the intelligence that the diaspora would next target this colony."
Still stony-faced, the male announcer said, "Interviews of the wing were conducted by our very own Nanise Elisara. Those are what you will see next."
"So, Vaybalri Khorvash," the reporter began from behind a cheery smile. "How's it feel to help clean up the Rim? Y'know, finish off those New Veyrin traitors."
The video feed went to the face of a blonde young man with brilliant green eyes that looked trepidatious to be speaking on camera.
"I'm happy to be able to help protect the Commonwealth—" Then, the rest of his sentence was cut off as the feed skipped to Nanise Elisara's next question.
"How was the fight?"
Nanise's full question was clipped heavily as it went back to Altair, who said, "There were a pretty high amount of enemies, but they were disorganized. Our teamwork let us keep each other safe and get rid of the threat without too much killing."
Going back to the studio, the video feed was off of Nanise Elisara and Altair Khorvash and back on the announcers.
The silver fox said, "There you have it, straight from the source. Setareh Wing is doing everything it can to further protect the Commonwealth, namely by protecting this colony currently being threatened. They are on the forefront—"
Interjecting, the woman said, "To all those that sympathize with the New Veyrin Republic, may your ancestors awaken to see what you've become."
