History:
Aya was just recently created, her purpose? To pilot. Aya has been programmed with most of the data on the latest starships, fighters, shuttles and mecha, giving her the ability to fly almost anything she puts her hands on. During her creation though they had a lack of resources and so were forced to make some changes to Aya's design.
The first change was the body type they were going to use, instead of using one of the NH-17's or later models they had to downgrade to a weaker NH-17 experimental series, that lacked the strength of the other NH-17 models.
With this in mind they also cut out the martial arts programming, they believed she wasn't going to achieve much with her extreme lack of strength when it came to martial arts either.
Aya is only made for flying in other words, her hand-to-hand is terrible, she's weak and lastly she's not very good at navigating harsh terrain, mostly sticking to the skies.
Aya right after her creation received her orders which stated she had just been assigned to the YSS Nozomi.
Skills:
Communication: Your character is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Your character is fluent in English, (and if a Nekovalkyrja, Japanese). She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.
Fighting: Your character received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor. Aya knows how to fire a gun and pilot power armour, that's about the extent of her fighting training.
Technology Operation: Your character is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.
Mathematics: Your character received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.
Communications: If a message is to be delivered to the pilot, it's better to get it to her directly.(proficiency in communication; writing and speaking, Includes cryptography)
Engineering: If a vehicle she was piloting started to experience some difficulties, she was trained in this to be able to find the problem sooner. Also, she just loves vehicles. (designing and building something)
Maintenance and Repair: She likes knowing what she is piloting inside and out. So if it needs fixing, she usually prefers to be the one to try and repair it.(The skill needed by a technician and/or mechanic)
Physical: She's pretty active and really finds it difficult to keep still, unless piloting. (acrobatics, running, etc.)
Rogue: Aya loves causing mischief and for this what's better than knowing how to sneak around or pick pockets. (Pick-pocketing, pick locks, slight of hand)
Starship Operations: This is her forte, she was trained specifically for piloting. (Astrometrics, stellar cartography, navigation, helm, etc.)
