Isha spoke up first, feeling it part of her duty- no, knowing it to be part of her duty. "Field Physician Ragnar, here. One dead and no other casualties thankfully." The sadness was evident in her voice, but only an undertone, a small splash easily overwhelmed by the current of her inner strength.

"We are well enough, control." responded Mu'Tasim, moving over to Szemis to draw him from the splintered wreckage. "Our medical specialist confirms it. Shahjahan was consumed by the anomaly we destroyed. It seems that it was the origin of the interference."

"Squad, how are you holding up?" ordered the Temple Guard to his sqaudron before Famasir turned it's head towards the two Raevrs that seemed to have come in to support them. Mu'Tasim took a breath mentally, before responding to them. "We appreciate the assistance, Kuzman, Pho'tet. I am Vaytulri-Acolyte Mu'Tasim Farouk, and for the most part, we are unhindered save for the sole casualty. Though, what unit do you originate from? Are you all command sent to assist us?"

"We hail from Sixth Squadron, Sir. To my knowledge, yes, we were the only two sent directly to you. The others in Sixth Squadron were sent to deploy communication buoys around the area; we deployed one and then were immediately sent here."

While Missions Operator Romdo managed to speak to Mu'Tasim, Ishtar was speaking to the squadron NI's at length. Of course this only took a matter of seconds to accomplish, all the same, to an NI it was a fairly long conversation. When it came to a close however, she was soon running full steam toward the Marranr. Thankfully enough she skidded a halt, not even a centimeter from him. He'd soon feel a sharp tug at his duty jacket and "Marranr Nejem!, Marranr Nejem!" loudly she called. The Vaygraiv had taken his leave, making way toward the CIC leaving him there.

After a short ime of this, she went about flailing her arms up and down, babbling the samething over and over. "Problems! We have big problems!"

Akjit's blood still burned in his veins as it churned and flowed with a rapid pace. Nightmare's eyes took in the sight for him in the place of his own; he couldn't quite comprehend what just happened. A Dream Eater. They just fought a Dream Eater...and won. But, not without being pushed to their very limits, the very boundary of their abilities. Mu'Tasim and the others shook the young Ivuori out of his reverie. "Vayshirin C-Chirimar. Reporting in; VANDR II has received minor damage, but is still fully functional." He replied, only half listening to the rest of the exchange.

'We killed a Dream Eater...something our ancestors barely held back with laiz rifles, artillery and other more mundane means than our most advanced VANDRs. But it was just a baby. And we still struggled.' He thought. Akjit felt a ghost of a soft hand stroke his cheek. Out of shock and terror, his VANDR nearly lifted a hand to check, but he barely managed to suppress it.

"You did fairly well." A young woman's soft voice spoke to him. And then the crowd spoke at him once more. "But you made several mistakes. Your inexperience could have easily gotten you destroyed as easily as Bahadur if it were not for one thing. Luck."

"What. The. %#@$." Akjit spat.

"I am old, Akjit. Very. And many times your superior in certain respects. What did you expect?" the girl's voice teased. Akjit sighed, or did so inwardly, since his body was technically comatose at the moment. The NI's reminder brought back the still fresh memories of the slaughter. The crimson red splashing across the blackness of space, all at the forefront of the brilliantly bright Garden. He brushed away the artistic imagery. It was a pretty way to die, but to die that way was to be dead. And Akjit didn't want to die.

"I don't...I don't want to die." He quietly whispered.

"Of course not Akjit. Of course not. I'm sure we can do something to make you less...death prone." one of Nightmare's voices cooed in his ear.
