Nimura demonstrates the benefits of 'divide and conquer' - in this case using subspace detonator mini-missiles not for their common barrier-stripping purpose, but rather on how it can momentarily strand a M7 SARAH to just being on-foot. She also shows a new usage for the leg ammo compartment commonly in LAMIA-type armors.
The post also includes a link to the insert song 'Oblivion' from 'Final Fantasy XIV', which I've been itching to use for awhile. I find the lyrics pretty relevant.
Also... Hakai Seru: some promise in japanese that you will be destroyed, and that the speaker will have something to do with it happening. Sooner rather than later. I think.
I thought I'd spare Tom another driving post, so, new GM post is up for your reading pleasure! @Khasidel@Doshii Jun@Tom@Nyton
Nimura gets her eight M7 SARAH kill. But it doesn't come free.
Shunka shows how it's hard to catch her twice with the same trick and teaches the litteral meaning of 'disarm' to Nimura.
Shunka's other samurai companion also shows Nimura a new context in SARP for the word 'exfoliation'.
Nimura didn't quite care for the lesson. She showed in turn that she's able to be litteral with the expression 'flailing arms'. And that little tactical drones deserve respect.
Ugoke: japanese meaning in this context 'move dammit!' Nimura is talking to herself.
Anybody noticed I got a certain naming scheme going on? Going from fearing the Reaper only to become it? Along with a power armor AI called Shinigami? Not to mention, Nyton keeps imagining a grim reaper all the times things go really bad; now he gets to play as one. Or, at least, part Ironman, part Optimus Prime
Blas' previous post was a little butchered and parts of it instead integrated in the first post of the new thread. There's stuff I wanted to write as Nyton got his first impressions of the suit he just boarded.
Also, the insert song? I wrote the post to it, but I'm also elbow-nudging Khasidel at the same time. He should get it.
Oblivion from Final Fantasy 14, Nyton's constant allusions to seeing Death, and Nimura hunting for a better name than just "Murder God" had a lot more to do with it, though!
My internet service has been down for the last couple days in my suburb -- don't know when it's going to be fixed. Currently borrowing my father's prepaid wireless USB dongle thingy to write this message. Just letting you guys know early why I might be slow to respond to messages for the time being.
Short, sorry, done during work break, where I was still working while breaking.
Just an addendum in case the worst case scenario of WWIII happens and we lose contact, I just want you all to know it's been a pleasure writing awesome adventures. God have mercy on us all.
