Can an ID-SOL serve the Yamataian military?

Hello, I ran across this RP and thought it looked pretty cool. I was thinking about creating a character and I was wondering if an ID-SOL can serve in the Yamataian military?

Ahh, I suppose if he was a leftover from the days Nepleslia was still part of Yamatai. But from then on he would be under pressure to do a soul-transfer to Yamataian, moreso that there was a period of time where non-Yamatain or Nekos were excluded from most jobs in the Star Army of Yamatai pending soul-transfer.

Its a very complicated and unlikely situation if you ask me. But if you really want something like that, have one of the Yammie players clarify it for you.
