Cafeteria

Vladi'mir smiles and nods then shakes his head "idiot they can't see you nod" he gets on the communicator "okay Ye'gor" he then slowly enters the main dinning area looking for the paw print moving slowly to the kitchen the notices that there was a sneeze but the the prints coming from the kitchen disappear after a few steps.

Cafeteria

Following the paw prints would end at the door leading to the back of the cafeteria and into a side room, where the sneezing was coming from, but the main dining area looked a bit out of sorts. There was a vent on the ground that had been pushed 'up' and was laying on the ground; around this vent was a number of half eaten food items such as vegetables and snacks; items that could apparently be easily carried out of the food storage by an animal...

Another sneeze could be heard, this time followed by something being rattled and crashing against the floor.

Cafeteria

Yegor was halfway to the side room when he looked back to notice Vladi'mir having picked up on the trail he had been following. Over that time his growling had become mildly audible, enough that the elder Laibe may be able to hear it in the otherwise quiet seeming area, his frustration growing with the mess he was noticing. The engineer was about to say something when he heard more sneezing.

His ears quickly went from folded back to the direction of the sound and brought his sidearm up again. Slowly Ye'gor made his way towards the door to the side room, motioning with his head for his 'adult supervision' to follow along.

Shar breath out. She would really hate to run around chasing these little thing all over the ship. She let the U'renese take its bar and nibble on it. Shar meanwhile slowly turned around and closed the door. She then sat down on her heels and watched the cute little critters do their thing. What will happen to them? Shipmisstress did not look like a type of person who would airlock these critters.

"Bridge, this is Shar," The black-furred daur called up. "I got adult U'renese and its young in a cabin on deck three. Don't ask me how they got on board, I have no idea. They made a bit of a mess, but they are harmless."

Deck Three

"Ensure they are unharmed please and try take them to medical please," came Sa'kiras voice from Shar's communicator. The voice momentarily startled the adult U'renese, but after a moment it went back to nibbling on its treat. One of the youngling, an orange furred one, hopped over to Shar and sniffed at her uniform; it cocked its head curiously to one side and then placed its paws on the Kit's knee and 'smiled'.

Cafeteria

Vladi'mir smiles when he sees Yegor and follows him slowly towards the creature that was sneezing when he got beside Yegor he whispered"have you seen the creature or just the footprints like me".

DECK 02 - ENGINEERING BAY (SECOND LEVEL)

Keri'cruen frowned at the terminal in front of him as it indicated the need for a full system rest of the ships PDS -- the power distribution system. Such a reset would wreak merry havoc on their departure preparations if performed at that moment, but it would need to be performed eventually unless they wanted to run the risk of the future malfunctions that would doubtless occur without the restart. The young kit signed softly, mentally resigning himself to the annoyance this news would bring, before he used his communicator to contact Xeui'na once more.

#N.S.V. GAM'TROSHA – ENGINEERING CHANNEL

< Se'verem Keri'cruen, A'Fuereb > "Xeui'na, this is Keri again. A small problem has cropped up."

The young engineer paused for a moment, wincing slightly as he allowed that brief statement to sink in. A few moments later, he continued to speak.

< Se'verem Keri'cruen, A'Fuereb > "The computer wants to perform a full reboot of the power distribution system now that the new capacitors are installed. We can defer this for now, but unless we perform the reboot eventually it's more than likely we'll experience power fluctuations and other malfunctions throughout the ship. It may even cause damage or an overload somewhere if we overtax the system."

Keri frowned for a moment as an idea occured to him, tilted his head as he allowed his nimble mind to consider it from a few different angles -- then he spoke again.

< Se'verem Keri'cruen, A'Fuereb > "Optionally, we may be able to divide the reboot of the power system and stagger the restart of different parts of the conduit network -- rather than turn everything off and on at once, we can do it one system at a time and minimize the impact on our departure preparations. It'll mean a little bit more work for the engineering staff, but the rest of the ships operations should be less effected as a result.."
