This is a help request for one of you guys to make a First Contact Award for the Star Army of Yamatai (or one usable by both the Star Army of Yamatai and Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia) that can be issued to participants in missions where they made first contact with a new species. If you make a page in StarArmy:awards: there's a template already present, so you'll mainly need to fill in the sections and supply a graphic for the ribbon.

Note the RP to justify the approval is already handled, we only need the article. If graphic help is needed it can be arranged.

Completing this task will earn the Yamataian or Nepleslian PC of your choice a Yugumo Signature Orchid Card from FM Yuuki.

I edited broken links, added requirement, history, and that's about it.

Wanted to link history and found a lot, but one foot is out the door.

First try, feedback plz. The faded gold and robin's egg blue are the inverse of the Star Army Regal Blue and Hinomaru Maroon, for "meeting not-us" i guess? The Green is science Green. The top bit is Hinomaru Maroon. The colors are muted/darkened by the Ribbon-ifier effect a bit.

Also I think maybe I actually made the art for the old one too?

added the most recent example I was involved with. not in the best formatting, but it's content. edits welcome

I think just space the blue and gold stripes out so that there is only one of each on each side and all the way to the right with no green on either side. Coming from a perspective of drawing them here and there and commissioning them a lot and simplicity prevails. Otherwise, solid.

I'll add the examples I found in RP, but it's a little Kaiyo heavy. I used rights of early contact a lot a lot. I feel like expecting the species contacted to have a wiki page would cut down on these being given out too too much.
