"As entertaining as this little discussion is..." Deon didn't try to hide the sarcasm in his own voice. "Little miss IPG might have a point somewhere in that ramble. After all we've got enough explosives between us to possibly start a rockslide down that cliff. Or just drop a chunk of it on the reds. And if we can, any ideas how to put it to use?"

"I may have had a point, but I can't tell if the terrain will permit a move like that and I'm not an engineer either." She paused for a bit before adding, "... and this is the point where one of you tech guys chimes in with a bunch of words that I ignore until you summarize for me by saying either 'yes we can' or 'no we can't'."

"IPG, shut up." Kagura said plainly. "We might be able to do that.." She said, referring to the tech's idea while tapping on the seafloor with her foot. "Hmm.."

"So you don't want to cuddle in bed but you'll have sex with me in a boxing ring?" Uso asked.

"TASUKI, ONE MORE GOD DAMN WORD OUT OF YOU..." Stromm snarled over the comm, but resisted finishing his statement, and turned back to Rico.

Autumn watched the comm roar with Stromm's raising temper with a grin behind the Warhawk's facemask. She kept her eyes on her HUD and prayed that nothing decided to pick this transmission to pick up. "Wait... maybe we can get under them! Are there any underwater caverns in this area? They might be utilizing one for a dock or sewer or something. Or maybe they decided against using it or something. We could plant explosives under their base and make the fucker sink from the weight of their bunker! And then wreck it from above!"

While the rest of the marines continued on with bickering and throwing out ideas for the operation itself, Rico remained relatively silent as he assessed each plan, running it through his head and trying to match it to the scene playing out in front of him. The sergeant more or less ignored most of the transmissions sent to him...not out of disrespect, but to keep his train of thought on the prize, rather than jumping into the fuss his men were making. After he had his fill of suggestions, Rico coughed into his mic to garner the attention of the squad.

"Well, from the looks a' things down there, I doubt we'll be able to hit it head on...they obviously got some pretty damn good sensor equipment down there, 'cause they fill up any weak spots they get from stretchin' the line pretty damn fast." Rico pointed down at a similar instance of that particular plan being staged as they spoke down below. A small squad of Green armors erupted from the underbrush on the other side of the main battle, to where the would supposedly be the weakest...but the stressed area was quickly filled back and reinforced with additional forces that seemed to burst up from hiding in the kelpy underbrush. An all-around attack wouldn't work, either...stretching their own forces would leave weakened and hard-pressed to advance on such numbers.

"Then...there's that caverns idea. If ya'll would've not been bitchin', you would've noticed one a' them big subs come in from the sides every now an' then," Rico smirked smugly at his observation...probably the first good one he'd ever made while being silent. Usually, he would've been right back into all that in-fighting, however at the moment he still had his career on his mind. As good a motivation as any. "'though, if they got any tunnel systems, they're hidin' 'em, 'cause I ain't pickin' up nothin' through all this damn sensor static."

Rico turned to Stromm after another moment or two. "That's all I got baby. If you got somethin', I'm all ears."

Kagura looked over. "Usually tunnels like that aren't monitored by security." She said. "When we...well let's just say it wasn't legal. But when our pirates raided supply depots we'd always find that the areas most heavily traveled by large vehicles had very little sophisticated security." She said. "Probably because such things would get damaged too easily with all the traffic through them. If we can find one of them we can probably slip in relatively unnoticed." The marine said. "But we'd have to find them by eye or tail a sub."

"Do we have time to dig a tunnel? These suits only have about 2 days worth of air and Stromm decided not to add a verb which means I won't know if I am just going to get yelled at some more for talking or if he is planning to spank me later. In either case following a sub in doesn't sound like a good idea because those power armors will see us coming even though the Sub's sensors probably won't."

"If we are going to use artillery we should have someone lay down a continuous barrage and leave a small path or two for us to try and enter into. We don't even need to deal damage with the barrage, just kick up some dirt and such to make the approach easier."

"If we are going to try and burrow we should probably take stock of what explosives we have on hand to see if we can cause enough structural instability to take the place out. If not we could try and take out the supporting structure under the dome or try and enter it from under ground provided we have enough time."

"Although now that I think about it why can't we just use some FTL gimmick to get in there? Do we have teleporters or something to work with?" Uso rambled.

Kagura looked over at Uso again and sighed, but thought for a moment. "Well a couple of us could stay up here and lay down covering fire in one direction to draw attention away from the rest that try to get in through the unprotected entrance...?"

"They've got more subs than we've got bullets," Uso replied, "A distraction would be nice but we'll need more firepower than what we have on hand."

"You're right, I hate to say. but perhaps we can cause a chain reaction of explosions?" She suggested. "Look for something that would cause one," she said, looking down at the base.

"You know, a stack of explosive barrels would be really convenient right now." Uso said.

"Don't we have any topographical maps? Anything mapping the sea floor of this area?" Stromm looked out at the ongoing battle. His looked over the subs, and saw how they battled along side the Red armors. He saw one Sub heading back to the base, with a hole in its hull.

"Hrm, why don't we try comandeering a Sub?" Stromm suggested.

"I'd think stowing away would be the best we could hope for. It would only take them moments to raise an alarm if we tried to take the sub entirely." Uso replied, "Thats barring any security checks they might be using prior to entering the structure itself."

Rico shook his head at Stromm's suggestion. "All the maps we got before the mission are old as fuck, an' worthless 'cause they don't even have the red facility on 'em. Chances are all this jammin' equipment in there is keepin' our boys up top from gettin' good readouts of the place anyway."

The Sergeant nearly outright laughed at Stromm's idea of 'stealing a sub'. With a sarcastic chuckle, Rico shrugged his arms and waved a hand nonchalantly. "Yeeah, sure! Let's take a sub...I'm sure if we ask nice, they'll let us borrow it an' not even think about touchin' the alert for backup. Hell, maybe we can take up that offer Kagura and your mouthy girlfriend over here gave us...I'll bet a few of those Reds would love to see a lil' mudwrestlin'."

Oooooh, so now 'he' wants to be a smart ass too. Stromm groaned in his mind.

"The Sergeant is right, we can't just walk up to the Submarine and outright take it without it raising alert. If anything, some well place EMP rounds could keep the bridge fried long enough for boarding action." Stromm spoke as if he didn't hear the sarcasm and jokes, mono-eyes turning on Rico.

"We could contact them and pose as professional mud wrestlers from their Moral Corps." Uso said over the comm system, "I'd probably fall for it, especially if I were stuck under the ocean for who knows how long guarding a ball."

Gyles smirked at Uso's comment, thinking about how most marines would trip over their own feet, nosebleed or spew sucrose solution over the HUD of their PA's.Though, the pleasing image of the two rather attractive marines in classical grappling combat, quite possibly in terrain caused by a combination of dry earth and recent rainfall. The tech sentry decidedly avoiding voicing himself, and remained silent.

Kagura might hit me with her rifle if I said anything stupid. And if I'm lucky, she'll only club me...

Mireille sighed and turned to the officer.

"Haven't you made enough jokes, Lieutenant? There are more pressing matters at hand, and you seem to be indulging your mischievousness at a rather inopportune time..." She said as a signal came in. Ally had sent her a detailed topographical map of the ocean floor surrounding the sub pen, as well as recent feeds from squads in the area.

"-Everyone, I have some recent datafeeds coming in. I'm forwarding all relevant data to each of you via laser."

Even with the new data recieved from collected information from the scout teams and armor squads, any immediate and obvious weaknesses in the defenses around the submerged base still went unknown to the Green assault force. Rico furrowed a brow in dissapointment as he confirmed this with his own eyes. "No dice honey, map's still ain't doin' shit for us. An' with that bases' anti-ship weapons will online, I doubt we'll be gettin' much air support 'till somebody brings 'em down a notch."
