Approved Character Elisa Metea

I'm with Thomas on this one.

If FM isn't comfortable with revealing said goals, he can always PM it to a GM. :D The "subtle goals" don't have to be public, but they need to be recorded somewhere.

Great bio so far, by the way. :)

Stuff? Lezzee...

Just looking around my room, I've got my computer, Antigone; books; a good-sized closet full of clothes in a great many styles, weights, and colours, but mostly formal-ish; my Playstation, with a little TV just for that; more books; a nice cherrywood desk with all my calligraphy stuff; mooooore books; lots of pads of notepaper 'cause I scribble incessantly; snacks; insence; piles of CDs and casettes; makeup stuff; and random statuary, knicknacks, and painting prints - got two foily Muchas!

As for personal effects, I'm a bit odd, 'cause I carry a backpack rather than a purse or handbag. So, on my person at almost all times are my wallet, which has little cash, since I prefer debit, along with bus pass and ID; my phone; a scratchpad, with a few pens and pencils; and a folding knife. In the pack are matches; a little umbrella; dice - a d4, two d6es, a d8, a d12, a d20, and twenty-four d10s, all in the obligatory Crown Royal bag; playing cards; game books - Castle Falkenstein (with Comme Il Faut, natch), Exalted Second Edition, and either Call of Cthulhu or Legend of the Five Rings; and Antigone, with the power cord, wireless mouse, and CD wallet. I'm told normal people don't carry umbrellas or Exalted around with them, so you may want to make some mental adjustments there.

Now, the important bit - Clothes! Again, I'm a little odd, in that nearly everything I own is kinda formalish. I have a lot of satiny blouses in different colours, a few white cotton or linen shirts, a pair of black jackets, some neckties, black slacks, ankle-length black skirts, black and grey sweaters, and some stockings. In the winter, I have a big off-black cashmir and wool knee-length coat that is made of warmth, and on rainy days and in the autumn I have a navy-blue trench - these are generally where I keep backup playing cards. I only have two pairs of shoes, one for sporty stuff and one for not-sporty stuff. It's kinda moot as they're both black faux-leather flats. For winter, faux-leather fleece-lined boots. Again, I hear normal people wear *shudder* jeans and whatnot, so don't take this as gospel.

Uh...thanks?

Wow, all this debate and advice about me and my character, and I just finished today...should I be flattered?

In any case, I recently added math (can't believe I missed that @.@) and removed the art one (not much point anyway). I also cleared a couple of things up. Personality is also done, and I went "screw it" and added in the stuff I'm bringing on board. I'll work it out later.

Speaking of personal effects, it wasn't so much what I was bringing, but how to get it and list it. There generally won't be much (you don't pack heavily when you're going onto a military ship, after all), but the process of "aquiring" it doesn't seem clear. I already have a few items in mind. In any case, I do appreciate that list, as it will probably be useful on the occassional shore leave >.>

There doesn't really need to be an explanation for everything right off the bat, anyway. I do far better in execution than creation. If some things don't work, I downplay them or eliminate them entirely. If things do work, I play them up. That's how things go, and characters shouldn't be stuck in a rut just because I happened to write the wrong thing on a character sheet. (I know how sucky things can be when that happens.)
