ISC Osiris to any and all ships in broadcast range:
The independent vessel "Osiris" is lost at the fringes of the An Rhy system. We have sustained heavy damage to our FTL capability and are currently forcibly docked to an unknown vessel.
Several members of our crew have entered the alien craft to investigate; the rest of us are going to effect what repairs we can. Any ship within range lend assistance if possible.
We are unable to engage FTL without lethally irradiating ship and crew, vehicle bay is destroyed, fabrication capacity is destroyed.
This message will repeat in 5 minutes. Coordinates follow using Star Empire charts:
RA: 10:42:08 dec: 88 degrees for twenty hours
then
RA: 23:01:50 dec: -09 degrees for thirty-three hours
then
RA: 04:04:04 dec: 21 degrees until An Rhy
time lengths assume traveling at rougly 10 ly/day
please make best speed if at all possible to assist.
