High above the planet the NSS Hornet was watching over the Gartagen forces on the ground and protecting the Gartagen fleet in orbit with its protective cloud of drones. Sensors were carefully monitoring how the battle was progressing as well as who was advancing on where. Notes were certainly made that the NMX had appeared to have found one of the NDI’s hidden factories and that the Yamatains were starting a fight close to the entrances to those production centers.
Quietly, Drei would begin accelerating the Nepleslian’s plans. The NSS Alliance would arrive in system shortly to have a talk with the slumbering factories, assessing their locations, their access points, and their production capabilities.
The Hornet would then launch the remainder of its drop pods, filled with Ichabod drones, towards one of the factory entrances far from the fighting. The NMX were no doubt planning to destroy the factories now, and the race was on to secure them before the extensive NDI safeguards were breached.
