OOC Eucharis Discussion

Alright, two quick things. First, this post :

Tomomi was behind the Ripper group Team 2 was engaged with in the corridor.

Before, there was another sentence, about Murakami being undetected and unnoticed by the Rippers she was sneaking up on. It has since disappeared, but this information is what I was going on when I posted. If the situation had been different, Murakami would have acted differently.

Second, in regards to the ship's entrance apparently being left open.

I had missed the melee attack in the short post so I removed that part and put it in the last longer one.

A clarification has also been posted regarding the landing bay doors.

Aww- LOL yeah Konoka's just going to gum those cookies, with, you know, her mouthful of broken teeth.
ROTFL. Thanks, Gunsight1. LOL That just made my day.

Guys, what doorway are you referring to?

Here's what my view of the situation is:

Okay. Let me know when you're ready. I'm hoping to get a nice big post in tonight. Everyone has been doing great and I think we're getting near the end of this chapter.

I don't think Mitsuko was left in any shape to help Misato take down a Ripper. Maybe that was supposed to be someone else there.

Let me know what I might need to do next in this situation, though. I don't want to bog things down while there's action going on.

I've noticed those energy blades on the Yamatai suits do surprisingly little damage for something with a damage rating of 'Total Annihilation.' That seems a bit misleading.

With the immediate threat gone for know, Mitsuko should be able to recover. The power armor, even without power, can still be used as regular armor even without power.

I agree the "total annihilation" is misleading and will remove it. There was a time in Star Army where power armor were pretty overpowered.

Bout, freaking, time.

However, the statement should technically still apply. Recommend rephrasing, or, elaborating, since after all the Rippers apparently still have 'Total Annihilation' as their aether damage output since they cut through an old-style Zesuaium armored PA like a white-hot scalpel through mostly-melted butter.

The suit lost power because you had the Ripper behead her. I'm not certain how she's supposed to recover from that.

That's also why I couldn't see her doing much to assist Misato in combat. And why I'm not certain what I should be posting at the moment.

It didn't actually get to behead Mitsuko. She was saved by her escorts.

I saw the escorts open fire, but nothing else was really said about it. I guess I'm just completely lost, now. I'll re-read everything later and try to come up with some way I can post something that fits with this version of events.

I was confused, too, when you posted the suit losing power and the helmet came off. I reasoned you were just showing some battle damage from the melee fight. Well, hey, at least she's still got her head!

Thanks!

I'll be posting an update tonight after I get home from dinner.
