Haiku Thread

A Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry, with 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the last line. Here's two examples:

<center>Sekiko
Beauty and free mind,
Afflicted by fate and love,
She lives in two worlds.

James
Appreciate him,
A dreamer and loyal friend,
What spirit, this wolf!</center>

This thread is here for Haiku on the boards...I figured we could each write a nice haiku about whoever posted in this thead last, as a fun activity. Also, if you have any other haiku to post, put them up as well! It should be a good change of pace from the political battles that have recent caused some distress in the Aethenaeum.

Europe is quite far
from America's sea shores
the story runs slow

The Destiny's plot
is much too crowded for me
I would just get lost

So I move again
to a more inviting plot
although I may die

But I do concede
That Zakalwe has owned me
with his great haiku

I am a newbie
and I tend to talk to much
Should I be silent?
 
Sypher is also
European did you know?
Plot speed uncertain

Ownage is mine, good
But you may still speak in this
A poetic duel

I too shall be in
That plot, which has been started
Maybe I shall kill ...
 
Sypher is Euro
But is the other GM?
He lives in the States.

You may think you won
But battle-hardened I am
in poetic duels.

The battle is won
but the war is not over
I fight to the end

Opportunities
great lie in this new plot thread
if we do not die

Whoever you are
for the upcoming drama
should prove quite useful

Instead of fighting
I suggest we make amends
and become good friends

because killing me
would destroy the engineer
How would we get home?
 
Please do not fight now!
Wait for the grusome battle.
We will be together.

This plot will be great!
I will strive to do my best
To keep the plot strong.

I will not leave Destiny
I will stay till the end, ok.

"ok" counts as two
syllables in this context
you are over one

I almost let by
another mistake within
third poem's first line

You may be surprised
upon counting syllables
this one is mangled

the champion of haiku
this game is over

for the soul: Haiku.

I structured a sentence to
look like a Haiku?

This poem is more
of an obersvation of
this board's practices

It is not meant to
bring insult to Za-kal-we
He brings happiness!!!!!!
