YE 45.8The emergency interim election called to replace seated senator Airwin Caeyara (Tetsuya Eitan) as he stepped down from both the Senate seat and as Aestaesys of Tsenlan to return to the United Norian Imperium as Sol'Aestaesys has concluded. Without much surprise, Cheol Eitan, the new Aestaesys of Tsenlan has taken the spot as Akina-Tsenlan's Senator on the Yamatai Imperial Senate. Cheol, a former MERN Admiral, who also has aspirations to join the Star Army has had a life devoted to service and to the Norian people. He's promised the same cooperative representation for both the Yamataian and Norian populations on Akina, and to continue to support the building of the City of Asarthotar as the home for the Norian people who were once refugees of the Empire.
Norians across the Yamatai Star Empire continue to transition from refugee status into full citizenship as they join the Star Army of Yamatai and other industries that support the war effort. Despite fears initially that many Norians would wish to go home, most have confirmed in surveys posted at the time of the interim election that they are content within the Yamatai Star Empire. It has been a year and a month since the Norian Arrival, things have come a long way for this group of elf-like individuals since then.
Changes also were made to the state-run Lo'ken Institute, which has replaced Airwin Caeyara (Tetsuya Eitan) with Aelya Eitan as its CEO.
