BODY: Operative Neis executed OPERATION NYAN with the "Nyan-chan" identity with little interference or detection from the civilian population. NYAN-CHAN was able to help maintain order as the Festival ran its course with a few riots and street fights but nothing on a CRITICAL level that NYAN-CHAN was unable to handle solo. No NMX infected were detected in the LOS APAGOS area and no children were abnormally hurt or targeted during the festivities. No abnormal OPERATOR presence was noted in the local media.
The evenings casualties were as follows:
3 Child candy/bullet riots (handled by LOS APAGOS PD)
30 civilian on civilian fights
100 minor injuries
1 fatality (Ruled Accidental: ingestion of "Sugar Boomer")
Estimated 100, 000 rounds of ammunition and explosives distributed to local populace
Estimated 300, 000 pieces of candy distributed to local populace
Operative's assessment of the Festival of Bullets activity level is abnormally low in comparison to the historical trends of previous years. The level being assessed to be low due to the civilian population dealing with the ongoing NMX engagements but public morale is improving.
