I'll waive the art requirement for now. However, I'd like some more detail here. Do they come in different color schemes? What's the sole's traction like (as players won't assume a certain traction, like they would a boot)? Can you get lined versions for cold weather? Are they waterproof?
 
The Star Army Jika-Tabi come in black with a gray rubber sole, as specified in the article. This is the only color they come in.

The traction is better than with a standard combat boot. This has been added to the article.

They're waterproof. This has been added to the article.

Lined versions are not available, but you could use thicker socks. It's worn with tabi socks (added that to the article).
