Rose didn't even look in Adrian's direction. She was too busy suppressing the urge to squeeze off a round in his head. The extra wave of soul wrenching nausea hit her, and keeping her gun pointed towards their prisoners she started to throw up again, this time on the bed but blessedly not on Kagura herself. She did until there was nothing but dry heaves, coughing, and what bits didn't quite make it sticking to her face.

She could only hope more help was coming, help was coming right? It was coming, it was. Of course it was.

Heh, nice tat. Kinda makes her look like an angel. Gyles thought to himself, admiring his first pleasant sight in nearly an hour now. He winced a little, hoping the painkiller dispensers in his visor would kick in soon, and noting the small pool of his own blood forming beneath his sleeve.

"Not my style. Some guy leveled a shotgun my way. He winged me and ripped the dog in half." Gyles responded to Adrian's comment.

The sound of sirens could be heard off in the distance but steadily approaching...

Adrian took a look at Gyles. He hadn't noticed him before. "Shit... the pellets aren't still in there, are they? Ah fuck it. You, nerd bastard next to the PC. Give me your fucking shirt before I pull it off your corpse."

He then looked to Rose as she vomited all over the bed. Damnit. She wouldn't last two minutes in combat. As the medic waited for the computer operator to hand him the shirt, Adrian moved beside the young woman, grabbing her shoulder, but careful to keep his guard up. "Are you alright?" He wasn't about to go into a long discussion with Rose, but he didn't want to have to share a car to the hospital with someone with some terrible stomach illness.

If he'd check later, he'd know Rose had seen more than a share of the fighting, but this was different. His touch felt like pure blackness, and the sound of the hammer going back on the pistol resting near Kagura in a protective way let him know she wasn't joking. "Help him." It was more of an utterance, her throat aflame. The ambulances would be there soon.."I'll-t-take care of her." She concentrated on Kagura's face, tracing the shapes to their end with her eyes to try and blot everything else out. And the man who caused all of it, he deserved to be shot like the dog had been.

Or maybe that was too good for him. The rest of her new squad would find out..she didn't want to spare the Sergeant that. And it would be another mess poor purple didn't deserve that.

The man at the computer peeled off his shirt and held it up to the angry man with the glowing red eye. "Here."

Adrian narrowed his eyes at the pistol cocking. He turned and left, his own gun at the ready. He grabbed the shirt. "Thanks, asshole." He fired a round into the man's thigh before moving over to Gyles. "Question still stands. Any of those pellets still in you, mate?" Adrian knelt to get a better look at the wound. He also pulled out his knife and set a lighter on the floor, in case he needed them.

The computer guy hurried over to Adrian handed him the shirt and then returned to his spot on the floor. Trying to avoid further abuse.

Gran sighed slightly with a small grin as they walked into the bar. The birds in the room flew in a humorous and metaphorical way. He sat down by Babs in the odd booth, a little closely at that, no reason to be a stranger after all.

Then he just had a though. Was Rico setting him up again? Or was Babs setting him up? These two seemed very much on the same wavelength. Was it another one of Rico's "tests"? Was Babs just doing Rico a 'favor' by being borderline touchy-feely with Gran to try to 'pull him out of his shell'?

Oh well, who knew, but Gran decided to make the most of the night and enjoy it, in his own way if necessary.

"Just some simple beer." Gran gave his order.

Autumn smiled as she settled in next to Rico with a hand gently resting on the sergeant's knee. She grinned as she made her request, "I think I want... a long hard screw up against the wall." She waited a moment to gauge the reaction, "I can tell you how I want it if you don't know."

Rose waited as she heard the sirens outside stop, stroking the drugged Marine's cheek as what bit of the drug she had administered produced results, even if it was just a little more colour in her cheeks. She was ready to leave, and her mind was fuzzy everywhere, like Angel wasn't part of her body just watching the disgusting wrath everywhere from some safe spot.

Putting the gun on the band of her ruined skirt, Rose picked up Kagura in the most effective carry they'd taught both in her courses, and at the Medical corps and stopped before rising off the edge of the bed, waiting for the inevitable rush of whomever was coming.

"FUCK! FUCK!" Ran had already heard the gunshots, and he was staring down a giant brick wall. Apparently, this website had not updated it's maps for quite some time, and this would definately delay him. Back-tracking through several alleys, he kept running into more and more dead-ends or wrong turns, cursing the fucking website he was looking at. After several more minutes and 5 more interrogated homeless men, Ran finally found himself at the house, the entire damn place absolutely silent. Pulling his .45 out and keeping it's sights aligned, Ran ran through the front door, clearing the area room by room...until he came upon where Adrian, Gyles, Rose and...Kagura were.

"W..What the -fuck- did they do to her?" Ran felt the bile rise in his throat looking down at Kagura, the sight of her almost making him drop his pistol. He kept his left hand on the top of his head, trying to make sense of all of this. Looking over to see Adrian around, he simply looked back down at the prisoners. But his rage would soon be let loose on the fucking camera man. Pulling out one of his magazines and holstering the pistol, the Chief casually walked up to the camera man, keeping the magazine hidden.

"Dude. You had better hope that you're not getting ass-reamed in prison for this. What's up with this kind of shit? Do people really get off to it?" Ran tried to keep a straight face; to lull the camera man into a sort of false sense of security.

The camera man didn't make the effort to shrug, still watching the angry IPG man who kicked him earlier as he responded to Ran. "People are more fucked up than you imagine.. these were all requests from people. It's fucked up... and strange but some people like it. Some people who don't even like it watch, it's like a train wreck... you know it's horrible but you can't fathom to make yourself stop. People love watching misery, it makes them feel better about their own miserable lives or some people find it funny. I don't regard it beyond the feed."

Adrian emptied his clip. The medic's face had a calm sort of disgust on it, and he was left with a smoking, empty gun pointed at the camera man's back. He looked to Ran as he popped the clip and replaced it. He said nothing.

"Oh, that's an interesting outlook. I share the same sentiments, yknow, I enjoy watching misery." The sounds of rapid gunfire in the room had Ran diving for cover to the ground. And when it was all over, he got back up, to see the camera man very dead. Upset at the fact that Adrian almost fucking shot him, and with the source of his anger dead, he simply looked to one of the other prisoners.

Without skipping a beat, the Chief strode over to one of the other prisoner, sneered and took the man's arm by the wrist in his right hand, held it firmly in place and brought his knee up and crashing forward on his elbow joint, invariably breaking the man's arm very much. "Shit, dude. You gotta watch where you step. You could break something...falling down." Ignoring any sort of protest after the breaking was done, Ran would immediately pick the man up by the right armpit and throw him to the ground, manually making sure that the man's face, elbows and knees were all scraped, to simulate a fall.

For good measure, Ran would grind the man's face into the floor as well, knowing that his lips and possibly gums would get all messed up. "Sheesh, dude. You sure are fucking clumsy. But I guess I can't blame you, running away after gunfire erupts, not looking where you were going, breaking your arm..." At that, Ran would walk away and make sure he'd step exactly square on the broken joint.

"Fucking animals..." Ran took the opportunity to pull out 3 cigarettes and light them up, an example of the levels of stress that were beginning to take it's toll on him. He was only a few feet from Kagura and he found himself looking away and out the door of the room. "Adrian, how far were you away when you shot the camera man, not now, but earlier? The fucking cops will look for burn marks on his skin that might get you in trouble for torture. Not like that fucking matters, anyway."

"Point-blank," was Adrian's simple reply. He then looked back towards Gyles. "You going to fucking answer me or not?"

The sirens were suddenly right outside- pulled up to the back of the building they were sent the call for help from. Two ambulances and 6 police cars came to a halt outside of the studio.

There was a rush at the door to the waiting room as baffled police officers came in with guns raised. "This is the Los Apagos police department! Lay down your weapons down! Someone tell us what the hell is going on?"

Adrian raised his arms, but kept his pistol in his hand. "IPG. We're all marines here." The medic still had the same calm, angry look on his face.

Rose slowly got up, and left her gun on the bed. "I'm a Medic-I'm taking her to an ambulance." The woman announced, her voice extremely hollow. "Those men..took her." She stepped towards the officer, and jerked her head towards Adrian. "He drugged her..that's how all this started. Let the IPG know please." It was very clear she was going to get the woman to the ambulance herself.

She carried purple out to the nearest ambulance, and got in with her. Setting her down. Finally, finally safe she leaned over Kagura and cried after the doors closed. "She needs a rape kit." After all that she was too numb to cry a lot, silent little drops hitting the battered woman's bare shoulder.

The police officers nodded and let Rose and Kagura pass without interference. They turned on the naked men laying on the floor of the room, looking disgusted. One of the officers spoke after a long moment of awkward silence, "Get your wounded into one of the buses, we'll secure these guys and get them processed. Did you touch the cameras or the footage?"
