She still wanted to go after Kagura, but Rose realized Adrian probably had checked her for drug allergies before shoving things into her system. Probably, he was a medic and had different training than she did. But the young woman couldn't say she wanted to check on the Marine before going drinking, she had to hope they'd come across her after the other greens were done tripping over themselves and making out with the local gutter spazzes.

"We'll see if either of us wants to hear it after a few.." Rose replied, not needing to look up at Gyles. She was sure he could get a view but there was no bitchy whining when she stole his arm. Bonus points. "And it probably means she doesn't care." She told Fay, "Should at least tell you she hates you, that's what good parents do."

"Yeah, guess so." Harrison rubbed his temples and stood up dizzily. "Epsilon... Right. Tried to help you back on the Alliance while Sanroma got into a bit of a standoff with Ian McCain, who transferred in with me from the Kestrel. Fight ended with both of them yelling at me... God knows why." He had a somewhat lopsided smirk on his face. Chivalric attitude hasn't died yet, Harry.

"Aww, thank you for trying, hun. I think the guys got a little overprotective is all. Some guys tend to get like that when the few female members of their squad get hurt," Autumn smiled at Will as she tried to help steady him. "But I'm okay and everything is all right. I have a good story, kinda, about my newest war wound." She gently patted his shoulder with her left hand.

"The shouldn't worry about me too much, I can take a lot of physical abuse without too much worry. I have the scars to prove my toughness," she said with a grin. She seemed proud of this fact like any other Nepleslian, her scars were a mark of accomplishment.

"Who doesn't?" Harrison stood under his own weight, obviously physically unfazed by his fall. He checked the guns on his belt before turning back to Autumn. "So, where were you guys going?"

Fay shrugged, "I suppose, but I can't hardly blame her. She had to juggle work and raising me, and she did quite well, if I do say so myself." He chuckled a bit, wondering why Rose was still clinging to Gyles. The medic wasn't sure if it was because Gyles was handsome or or something much simpler then that. He mentally shrugged away those thoughts as it didn't really matter much in the long run.

Autumn shrugged, "Couldn't tell ya Will. Rico seems to going for a flair of the dramatic today and hasn't told us. I'll go ask," she replied brightly as she made her way over to Rico with a bounce of skirt.

"Hey babe! Where are we going to go drink?" She looked at Rico with a bright smile as she tried to catch his attention.

Gran was quite speechless as Babs finally released his. His jaw was slightly open and the corners of his mouth curled slightly into a smile. He heart was racing a little, if only from pure surprise of the sudden, but welcomed, assault on his lips. He stood up straight and recovered his composure a little.

Gran quickly decided to try to at least sound a little manly, and not just like a naive child. After all, Rico had given him some of his 'lesson' awhile ago and they weren't far from Gran's mind at the moment. He tried to run his hand through his hair like Rico, maybe it was a joke, maybe he was trying out the move for himself. Although it did look noticeably less spectacular due to the curly nature of the techie's hair.

Babs said:
"Eh...we can work on that part, baby."

"Yeah, we definitely should."

After a few drinks, Kagura would feel more and more down, thinking about her own life. All the reasons why she was doing seemed to have been lost and for the first time in a while: she felt afraid. Afraid to change her ways and be more woman-like after she'd seen her mother die, afraid to trust anyone completely: even her alliance crewmates. She'd eventually send off a communication to everyone in the group she'd left.

Hey guys...

I'm sorry for being such a failure as a person and as a PFC. I apologize to Rico for trying to cheap shoot him, Ran for being a 'frigid lunatic', and Autumn fo rnot being a better friend.

Afterward, she'd disable notification of replies and leaned back in her chair and turned her red-eye glare at the ceiling, staring blankly at a ceilign fan over her head. Her thick purple hair falling aimlessly over her missing eye.

Adrian reached into his left pocket as the datapad there let out a blast of trumpets, guitar, and loud singing. He pulled out the device and tapped it, read the message, and cocked an eyebrow.

"Well fuck me. Isn't Calm just supposed to chill you out or some shit?" The medic ran a quick check through a search on the InterNEP, came up with the same answer, and frowned. "Looks like Kagura without emotion is a very emo Kagura indeed."

He shrugged and dumped the pad back into his pocket.

Rico, unfortunately, was far too busy getting reacquainted with his old buddies to notice the short jingle emitting from his jacket pocket. Instead, the saucy Sergeant sauntered his Sanroma self up to Babs, flicking her a smirk and he stroked a hand through his hair.

"What's happenin' baby?! Shit, yer lookin' better...get your tits done again or somethin'?" Rico asked rather casually.

Babs, surprisingly, simply nodded and returned Rico's grin with one of her own. "Hell yeah, baby! Doc Broun had a sale 'bout a month ago," she said as she repositioned her two exponentially splendid mammaries with her palms. "Two fer one sale, baby! V an' Jenelle got theirs done, too."

Jeeves walked up to join them, Goggs bobbing his head behind him. "So, where we going tonight? Because if we wanna hit the bars before the Ills get at them, we better hit the shit now."

"Point taken, baby!" Rico shouted, waving a hand at Autumn to answer her question as well as he beckoned the rest forward. "I got it all planed out. We're gonna bang up ol' Johnny's place, up town. Did ya bring the rides? How's my ol' Vipster doin'?"

Babs merely smiled slyly and nodded her head down the street. Across from the Square sat four ratty-looking vehicles; two trucks, and two airbikes.

The two trucks were standard fare milktrucks, from the looks of it...they were slim little numbers, with two seats in the front and a modest cargo area in the back, both of them with chipping paint-jobs of off-green. The two airbikes, however, were a bit more diverse; one closest to the group was a sleek gray and blue design, a bit rusty and grimy here and there but overall in good shape. The other one was larger and more robust, exhaust pipes and jagged ends jutting out from the black and red exterior. This airbike, in contrast to the rest of the vehicles, looked well-cared for.

Rico looked absolutely giddy as he bounded towards the sleeker gray and blue 320 Vipster, leaping onto the seat and revving it loudly as he motioned for the rest of his posse over to the remaining vehicles. "Listen up boys! We're headin' to Johnny's Tuck...good part a' town, cheap drinks an' they don't taste half-bad! Just hop in an' let ol' Rico lead ya there!" The Sergeant laughed as he kicked off the stand, allowing the machinery beneath him to sputter to life as it roared, swinging it over violently and stopping it a few feet away from his approaching drinking buddies.

"...so, who wants a lift?"

Autumn looked at Rico curiously and then grinned at the ride, "Nice bike. I'll ride with you, babe. Haven't had something that powerful between my legs in a long time.. I kinda miss riding on an airbike. Want me on the back or in front of ya?"

Rico sent a sly grin in Autumn's direction, obviously quite amused by her comment. Rico revved his Vipster once more and laughed shortly, halting enough to let the Armorer board. "Well sweetheart, maybe just this once, ya can enjoy th view from the back, yeah?"

Autumn returned the grin and climbed easily up on to the back of Rico's bike. "Let me know if I'm holding ya too tight, babe," she commented as she wrapped her arms around his torso.

"Looks like Kagura without emotion is a very emo Kagura indeed."

"...You gotta be shitting me. 'A Kagura without emotion is a very emo Kagura indeed'.?" Ran had just recently read the message and put the slim PDA into his pocket, lighting another cigarette. Adrian's grammatical prowess caused Ran to drown the numb, surging annoyance he felt in the buzz from a cigarette. "Did you ever consider the fact that she would go drinking after acting up? Did you even consider the fact that the shit you gave her might have adverse effects while mixed with alcohol? How the fuck did you even pass the qualification tests as a Medic?"

Taking another long drag of the cancer stick, the Chief put his PDA back into his pocket, somewhat not paying attention to the conversation between Rico and his little friends. What -did- get his attention was Rico riding the airbike up to the group, as well as Autumn getting onto it. "...Can we ride in the trucks and breeze past the possibility of someone getting an accidental 'backseat boner' on the airbikes, Sergeant?"

"So he's got a Vipster? Hrm... I might want to race him so day, but ey, some other time." Gyles said rather mischievously, grinning brightly. Though, the tech sentry was far more interested in racing that actually beating Rico. The thrill of competition was its own reward, often greater than any victory, in his mind.

"Whatever. I don't mind riding in one of the back of one of the trucks." Gyles said, shrugging a little. He didn't really mind being stuck in the truck. "Rose, Fay? Hop in the back of one of them? We can keep talking like that."

Kagura would also receive a hastily typed message from Gyles.

"Well, the first exam, the written one, I passed with a 87 out of a possible 100, and then the actual field test, they gave us each a guy with a missing arm, which was bleeding, a chest wound, also bleeding, and head wound, which was really, really bleeding. Then they gave us a standard medical kit and told us to get to work." Adrian had finally opened the small liquor bottle he had been holding over Ran earlier, and drank some.

"My guy bled out after five hours, which put me at second best in my class. The actual winner was a technicality, though. Fucker barely had anything wrong with his guts like mine, and his arm had a clean cut on it." The medic shrugged. "That might just be my particular depot, though. We were out behind a big-ass prison. They liked putting their DR inmates through a grinder for us. Fucking pigs." He kicked back the rest of the bottle before continuing.

"Then again, I hadn't been drinking for 24 hours before that, so I might've done a bit better then. Besides, it's that shitty Yamataian stuff. Can't hurt you."

Adrian looked at the various old vehicles parked a ways away. "Fuck it, I'll take a cab. You bastards'll probably kill me if I go with you." The medic turned away and headed off towards the street in search of a ride after belting the empty bottle at one of the concrete barriers, watching it shatter.

Kagura would blink as she felt the datapad in her pocket and flipped it open as she downed another shot. She was still feeling down and her speech increasingly slurred, and now was attracting less-than-nice attention from other patrons. When she opened it she blinked at the message.

She thought about it for a moment and hiccuped and responded with a text only message. But it was just to Gyles:

Harrison looked at one of the trucks and scratched his chin before deciding on it. He vaulted up the wall of one tire and over the edge of the truck bed, then came down on his feet, sitting on top of the wheel well.

"I'm ready when you guys are."

Someone had left a half-empty box of Long Night syringes in the back of the truck.

"Shit. If they're gonna kill themselves they have to do it around me." The young woman looked up at Gyles, then Fay. "Remember which way purple went?" Listening to Adrian hadn't really made her feel any better, and there might be a pharmacy on the way to wherever she'd gone anyhow. They could catch up with the lovebirds and their caravan later. That strangely serene look crept back to Rose.

She was already pulling on Gyles in the direction she thought Kagura went, pissed she'd be missing the first rounds. Sadly, to her there were more important things than drinks.

Fay thought for a moment before saying, "I think she went tha-" Before he could finish, Rose was already heading in the direction that he was referring to. "Hey, don't leave me behind," he said stepping up next to Rose, who was still clutching, or dragging rather, Gyles.

"So I guess we're with the wild bunch. Rockin." Gyles sighed sarcastically, ruffling his hair a bit with his hand. He didn't feel all that comfortable being around anyone that was wired on anything, especially stims, while they were driving other people. He glanced over at Fay and tapped his visor. "If you want... I can trace those messages she's been sending us, but I'd rather not. I mean... I'm really worried about her, but she's obviously set on being alone. Then again, it could be the drugs talking."

The tech sentry sent out another message, before giving a nod to Rose and Fay. "Iunno, can either of you administer something to clear the Calm from her system? I can bring you, if you can and want to."

Gyles said:
Autumn,

I'm kinda worried about Kagura, and she's not going to listen to me. Do you want to deal with it, or should we just leave her alone? She seems damn set on wallowing in her own misery, but I'm thinking the drugs might be making it worse.

"Howabout you all leave her alone? She obviously doesn't want company right now, so why even agitate her with our presence? Shit, guys, what are you all, Marines or goddamned Dr.Feel-Goods?" Ran had flicked a cigarette past Gyles, Dream and Fay, taking care not to smack them with it. The name "Johnny's Tuck" was still fresh in his mind as the bar that they were going to. So, looking it up on the InterNEP, found the address to it as well as directions to it.

"I think I'll pass on the fucking trucks..." Ran drank the last bit of schnapps he had and started towards the bar on foot, pulled out his PDA and sent a message to Kagura.

Kagura,

Sober up and get your ass to a place called Johnny's Tuck with the rest of us. For fucks sake, don't let your problems ruin everyone else's night, Gyles, Dream and Fay are already pissing themselves trying to get you to cheer up.
