Lor System

The space within the boundaries and fringes of the Lor system were a flurry of activity as the Lorath conducted the beginnings of an operation which would bring them into a situation of stability which had not been seen by the Matriarchy since the Yamataian subjugation of the Lorath people. The operation at hand had put a considerable strain on the remains of the industrial infrastructure left in the Lor system. Despite the situation, the Fyunnen which remained in the system proved to be effective as they constructed the ships and equipment which were needed for the operation.

At the fringes of the system, a number of ISFB, which were constructed in Lor space, had begun the task of creating a break in the nebula's gases to prevent the ambient particles of matter from interfering with the intended operations. With the efforts of the ships, a break was formed in the gases which left the Lor system clear and stable for wormhole field generation.

At the mouth of the 'Sydney Passage', a passage which the Lorath have loathed since it's establishment, a lone ISFB laid down a stream of legacy cannon fire, forming a wall within the passage to prevent the approach of any interfering ships or hitch-hikers. Meanwhile in the nebula around the Lor system outside of the boundaries of the operation, a series of aether dampening and denial devices were deployed in unison with interdiction devices. With these actions, the Lor system was effectively isolated from outside meddling, and was left to its own devices.

Within the Lor system and around it, a number of shuttles and cargo carriers flew about while placing wormhole generator units, subspace field generator units, and anti-interdiction units. The units were placed throughout the system. On moons, on planets, on asteroids, in open space, where-ever they were needed to establish their influence. By the time the ships were done, a network of wormhole and subspace generators was established which would be able to project their influence over the entire Lor system, and be able to move the very planets, moons, asteroids and even the star which made the system. It was the greatest engineering endeavor which the Lorath people have attempted, but it was also what was needed.

On Lor Planetside...

The Fyunnen which were still on the planet had gone about evacuating to shelter and operation coordination complexes for the duration of the operation. Over six billion Fyunnen had dedicated themselves to the defense of their homeland, and these same six billion had poured their hearts and souls into the effort needed to produce the machines which they had made to grant them their deliverance from the confines of the Empire.

Within one of the command complexes, a Fyunnen general sat in waiting, waiting for the word from her Xiaah or High Priest to activate the devices and move the system to it's new home within the UOC's borders to form the Matriarchy's cluster.

The systems were online, the space itself was prepared, the Lorath people were prepared, everything was ready and now it all rested upon the go-ahead from their royalty.
