In regard to circulation, a little has been added to that blurb to elaborate on the time since the canteen has been put into circulation.

Hight, width, width? Makes no bloody sense. I'll use the term "Thickness" thanks.

The exterior of the container is primarily smooth and brushed, however, the sides of the container are textured to provide increased grip.

I do not see what is so hard to read there, just move down to the next line Wesley.

As for the structural endurance of the canteen. Yes it is possible with solid-steel construction for an object of that size.

Also, I've added a blurb on the function of the water-level indicator.

You're aware, Wes, that you've been nitpicking a canteen? A thing that, in the long run, does little more than hold water, and probably needs little examination beyond 'it holds water, it's good'?

There are technologies that get approved instantly that are more complex than this, and even worse, there are technologies that are more complex, seemingly more deserving of being pored over with a fine-toothed comb, that NEVER GET THAT TREATMENT because you're busy with a canteen.

Maybe someone should look at those.

Maybe you should then focus on more basic descriptions of mundane objects that normally don't need submissions. If you are going to post a mundane object for approval then people should nitpick and make sure it is absolutely right.

Actually, I've encountered my fair share of situations where a seemingly mundane thing has ended up going through hell and back to be nitpicked.

Don't even get me started on trying to describe a 'pit bed' during the Zahl submission.

Either way, canteen, we're thirsty.
