Mecha in SAoY

While that's true, what would we actually use the mecha for? We have the KIRIE and KEIKO armors available but those almost never appear in RP. The Star Army has starfighters for space and on the ground it has power armor that is basically a wearable mecha.
 
I think it has been discussed to the death that Yamatai has no interest in the Mecha, whether we like it or not. I should know. I started this thread back then before it got hijacked and went nowhere.
