Where most Nekovalkyrja bare their maker's mark Millia's is covered by a angular black raven tattoo extending over her upper back She also bares four small red markings under her eyes.

Psychological Characteristics

Personality: Millia Rai has become over the years a dark mirror of her race's psychology. Life without structure has made her more combative and cunning rather than her counterparts in the military. She is a creature of pride and at times remorseless fury. Life to her is an ongoing challenge, and only those strong of mind and will shall prevail. A quirk of her psyche, Millia tends to distance herself from those around her, especialy other Nekovalkyrja. Her temper can often lead to in fighting with the crew, though it is quick to pass.

Likes: Thrill seeking, zero-gravity, Other People's Money.
Dislikes: YSS fleets, Yamatai police forces, Cold weather
Goals: As any pirate hopes, infamy, fortune, and a retirement that doesn't end at the point of a gun. Even Millia is not shure what she wants to acomplish in life as for now she indulges her curiosity and vice more than any constructive persuits.

History

Millia Rai was born "Cythe Oman" an unassuming Nekovalkyrja destined for the routine military life aboard one of the YSS cruisers. During her training as a tactical officer and Pilot the academy began to notice "defects" in her mental programing and personality that could not be explained. An anomaly in the creation lay undiscovered thru her testing. Cythe as she was called had been more aggressive than her peers and exhibited traits of older field worn models. Prior to graduation she was to be submitted for medical screening, to discover and "correct" her imballences. Fearing being labled defective and recalled the young Nekovalkyrja escaped the academy durring a flight training exercize disappearing for several years. Now wanted for theft of a YSS shuttle, assault and atempted murder, Cythe did all in her power to flee the Yamatai security forces. She quickly found a niche in more corrupt circles. First as a loyal enforcer and later her tallents in a starship proved more usefull. Using the assumed name "Millia Rai she began a new more rewarding life abord privateer vessels, raiding and boarding civilian ships and even more dareing operatings to steal resources from YSS supply lines. She had recently been spotted aboard a civilian Escort ship the "Last Star" a Nekovalkyrja matching Oman's description was seen with a small mixed crew of dubious reputation.

Skills

Communication (+ telepathy): Millia Rai is familiar with basic communication procedures of the YSS fleet as well as encrypted signals. She is fluent in English, Yamatai, and is passable at Nepleslian. She also can speak telepathically like all other Nekovalkyrja but rarely uses the ability.

Combat: As a tactical Officer Millia's training focused mainly on starship and fleet tatics of the YSS. Now some years later with her experience as the opposition her tactical knowledge has proven invaluable in evading and raiding Yamatai vessels. As a pilot her skills are mainly in the Small compliment of light fighters abord the Last Star and a few looted Power armor. The array of weapons she has learned over the years varies with their availability. However Personal preference is a heavy energy pistol and combat knife.

Athletics: Form and function, Millia has come to pratice a very acrobatic form of exercize, Parkour. Forgoeing her natural ability at manipulateing inertia she is adept at keeping a breakneck pace over, thru and around most any obsticle. The rush of adrenaline and physical release it provides often helps recenter her neer chaotic nature.

Technology Operation: Life outside the fleet has made Millia adapt to using whatever available computer systems she finds available to refit her ship with. Far from fluent in any one system she has a working knowledge of most foreign technologies, instructed only by the ships coms officer.

Mathematics: Millia received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry. Not one for the field of raw numbers a great deal of her actions are based on chance and instinct rather than hard data.

Starship Operations: A never having proper experience in the fleet Millia has learned her skills by trial and error. (Some more costly than others) the Last Star is by no means the first ship she has set to the stars with, but it is the first she commanded. She is as fluent as any military captain and intimately familiar with her own vessel.

Whoa, cancel that, I just realized she wasn't in the Star Army of Yamatai. Alright, so you want to be an independant ship captain, eh? It's kind of challenging. Like military characters, we ask that you start small - maybe serving under another captain. You don't have to, though. If you're making up your own ship, it'll need to get approved and you may have to acquire it in-character (as in steal it during roleplay--since just writing it into your history is kind of a cheap move).

One minor problem with the character is that she's an NH-29. The NH-29 model's only been out for less than a year and most Nekovalkyrja aren't 24 (since they skip childhood, they tend to be under 5 years old or so).

Er, raiding Star Army vessels? This isn't historically supported.
 
What about older models then? which ones have been in service. That info is missing from the comparison chart

NH-7: YE 20 to early YE 23

There basically weren't any Nekovalkyrja before that who aren't specifically identified already (that is to say, there were only a very small number of NH-2).
 
There are many spelling errors/typing mistakes through the entry. A good, careful read should be sufficient to correct most of it.

Life without structure would make you less cunning, since you wouldn't have formal training.

Second: She only has 5 skills

Third: The 'personality' section describes what she thinks about the universe, but it doesn't describe the character itself. It needs to be fleshed out more, for example, you could tell us more about her goal(s).

Fourth: NH-17 have eight years of servitude that must be served before they are released. How would she have "escaped?"

Fifth: Her history is a little short, and should be further explained.
 
What are the chances of an NH-17 breaking off like this? Don't they have eight years of servitude that must be served first, unless they buy their way out or something?

The concept for the character is that of a run away. Living on her wits and instinct instead of military structure. She is after all a pirate.

No system is perfect and people escape from real military training all the time. theres even a word for it AWOL. but i suppose a little back story on it wouldent hurt i am not exactly going to give a play by play here.

The character could have been part of a major battle and been a survivor from it. After days of going about navigating in a half-dead power armor, she could have made it to some Nepleslian world and try to fit in.

Of course, the above doesn't go well with the history that's been written in the character's sheet so far.

Shouldn't this be changed? When was she born and as what type of Nekovalkyrja (NH-17 I'm thinking, which would make her about 2-6 years old).
