RP: Yome Ismâopate [Mission 1.2] Whom fortune favors - Aftermath

The Stako powered down and the hatch to the Stako unlatched and the Qakla who was operating it stepped out. "I am fine, the Stako obviously needs some help. Thanks for bracing my Stako. Awkward to get out of one that has fallen over."

Murr took her time as she stayed with Keyul, providing escort and protection. Even though it was concidered safe. Beside it would give chance for the area to be cleared of the Stako used. As it seamed that everyone was happy to return back to the safety of the ship.

Murr was content and enjoying the slower pace. She liked the cool air that blew into her open vents as they traveled back to the ship. Closer they got, more impatient she got, but she wouldn't leave Keyul's side till they arrived within the security perimeter of the ship.

She began her data download of the mission to study later at her liesure. Maybe share it with Memi once she was done with it. As she waited her turn.

Murr simply squated her Stako into a more stable position and opened it up. She passed over the list she had complied of the damages to the Stako she was assigned to the nearest Bajao'a (Technician).

The cool air felt good as it soaked slowly through her outfit and fur. She looked around taking note of the newcomer(s). She nodded to the others as she scampered off with her HS-PE4-1a Mako'sa Kyn (Data Pad) and EOD Kit. Setting them aside to be grabbed later, she returned and grabbed her Stako's Rifle and disconnected it. She unloaded the projectile in the chamber and removed the magizine from it, rendering safe. She moved to the nearest workbench that was available, dissembled it and began to clean it and check it out as she worked.

La'tâ followed not too far behind Murr and Keyul as they headed to the ship. She decided it was better to radio a head as they approached though, making sure it was on the engineering team's signal. "This is Sâvyjo-Qoji, I am bringing back a biological sample, I need a Wunyasa Tinsae(Small starship container) to store it in." Once she arrived and the container was brought to her, she put the defiler body that she was carrying inside. "Label the container as a first level biological hazard, and send it to the supply area of the Wapoin Ruo'sa, it's going to be used for research against the defilers."

Once the container was on the move she moved her Stako to the proper location in the hangar and had it crouch so that she could get out, coming out with her medical kit and her data pad. She jotted a few things down and then waited to see if the others would gather up. She knew she couldn't leave until dismissed anyway.

Syaboa watched the people come in as when they left, she moved the Stakos that were left unattended to the braces and done the job she was told to do, not caring if it didn't matter, this was her job she would do it.

Hewid watched Syaboa as she tended to one of the Stako. She might not be a tech but she was definitely not shirking her responsibility.

Several Stako boarded the ship. These had minimal damage and were capable of powering down without assistance. Once they were in the squat position, their operators exited.

Keyul came limping into the cargo hold while the musculature was holding up, the knee joint of his right leg had begun to bind and stick about halfway back to the Yome. One he found a clear spot to stand; he looked around and motioned to Syaboa to brace his unit. Meanwhile he shut down the tactical systems and prepared to shut the Stako down completely.

It was good to be back. Taking note of the newcomer as she worked on the weapon she drew from the weapons locker. Murr smiled as she worked. She tapped in a command on her Mako'sa Kyn (data pad). Soon music emitted from it's speakers just loud enough to be heard, but not interfer with work and conversations of others.

Murr was unwinding from the built up tension. She had faced the second major hurdle in her life. Facing the enemy and her fears to survive. She felt an even closer kinship with her father and brother. Even though she loved her mother dearly, Murr could look to the future, knowing that she can stand on her own and face her trails knowing that there will be a paw at hand to help if she needs help.

Murr looked fondly over the crew of the Yome and those that shared the trails that they just went through together, pulling together and stepping forward when needed.

She finished up with the weapon she had been working on and did the standard function checks to make sure it was in excellent working order. She tagged it as her off ship weapon when going out on a recon missions. She carried the weapon to the ship's weapon specialist and turned it in along with the inspection worksheet, showing it had been cleaned and checked over.

As much as that shower or bath was calling her, Murr looked around to lend a paw if it was needed, waiting to be dismissed for personal time. Her gear was stowed. Her Stako was being carted off within its assigned support cradle for repairs and stowage by the Techs.

La'tâ made her way to Keyul as he was now inside and properly rigged up and preparing for shut down. She was hoping that he did now turn the audio capture systems off yet. "Keyul-Sar, during the mission you left your Stako's sanitary environment, you will need to be properly screened for any trace bacteria or possibly bacteria carrying insects and the like to make sure you do not bring any unknown diseases aboard. Please head to the Wapoin Ruo'sa as soon as possible, and if you can not head there immediately, refrain from socializing too much, and do not shower, you might wash away the bacteria before we have a chance to get a sample and study it."

Though she said this out loud to Keyul, she was saying it to herself as well, she had stepped out of her stako as well, unfortunately she was not capable of examining herself.

Keyul opened the hatch to his Stako while waiting for someone to brace it. He turned to La'tâ, "I am familiar with standard protocols Sar-La'tâ." he said to her.

The XO climbed out of his Stako and looked around. Then in his command tone he spoke, "Remember people, Everyone who has been off ship must go through the Anoka Saalfofi as they leave the hold. No exceptions! Report to your normal duty stations if you were not exposed to anything in that installation.

Those you whose Stako lost integrity are to report to the Wapoin Ruo'sa. Once there you will be kept in the isolation area while Sasâvyjo'sa Yaobas gives you a thorough examination. Only after she has cleared you will you be allowed to return to duty. Move it people."

"Looks like you will be joining me Sar. Best we get moving, one does avoid the wrath of the Tin-To'a." He put the Stako on standby and stepped out. He looked at Syaboa. "Take good care of it. It served me well on this foray." He said with a grin.

Keyul then started heading to one of the inner doors. The glowing field containing the Kyaniusa Saalfori was visible. After several others had gone through he paused and picked up a filter mask from the cabinet next to the doorway. Once it was secure he slowly walked through the field taking the prescribed 15 Ous'sai to ensure his exterior was decontaminated. Once through he started walking towards his destination.

La'tâ nodded to Keyul as he mentioned that she would be tagging along. "Yes, normally I'd be assisting, but I will be taking part this time." She decided just to follow after Keyul since they were going the same way. She put on the mask and spent the assigned time in the serialization mist, and while she did understand the purpose of the field, she never could get used to it. It always gave her a strange sensation and made her fur stand. "A considerable number had to get out for repairs...this could take a while."

Murr followed along to go through the Anoka Saalfofi. She waited her turn, feeling several itchies spots deep within her fur. She rolled her eyes and grabbed a mask. She put it on and stepped into the mist. She stepped out of line of those following her. She signaled to those watching as she needed a new outfit. Within the chamder there were privacy chambers. She stepped into one and was met by the one of Wapoin Ruo'sa who was in a bio-protection suite to assist her in disrobing and to help prevent the filter mask from being removed or dislodged as the clothes were being removed.

Once in a new set of clothes, Murr rejoined the line and proceeded on through the Anoka Saalfofi. She wore a red tag for immediate quaritine for she left behind some of the now dead native bugs behind, she picked up while Communing with nature.

::Isolation Quaritine Medical Section::

Murr sat on the chair before a console and went through the lengthy written (typed) report on mission and all of her actions. Even answered the questions that kept appearing on her console screen. Till they stopped coming. She gave high praise to her teammates actions. Whether they would be believed or not, Murr felt good in doing so. Even Memi had gotten good praise written about him. La'ta stepping forward in getting her Stako rebooted in the heat of combat.
Keyul willing to allow a moment to for her to Commune to nature for the advance intell.

That brought another flood of questions of her Communing with the Plants. Murr shuddered at the remembrance of that. She had to relive the experience to be as honest as possible in answering the questions. She still was looking forward to her bath or shower time to pamper herself, not the decon scrubbing she had to endure. Her calico fur would never be the same again.

Once the Stako was position in it's docking cradle, Memi shut down the systems and transfered the captured vid and audio track to his person filed back in his cabin. With a long sigh he keyed the Stako open and climbed out. With a long tired sigh he turned and started through to his cabin. but first he had to go through the Anoka Saalfofi. He never cared for them. They always made his fur stand out on end and make socks stick to him all day long.

Once through the sanifaction field he when to his cabin. Once he made sure the data he transfered arrived he gathered up a new set of clothes and went to the showers. It had been a long day.

Keyul found himself a place to sit in the isolation area after watching the ship's healer tending to the wounded. He looked at his team mates, "I wish I had one of my books or my Mako'sa Kyn. We're going to be here a while. After all the Wapoin'asa is working alone, and the injured go first. Definitely a memorable first foray for us."

A crew member in an isolation suit entered the isolation room carrying a tray. "Some beverages for you while you wait." she said and placed it on the unoccupied medical bed.

Hewid walked up to Syaboa, "Well our work is done here. Or rather your works is done. I have a lot of work left. Hopefully I will see you at evening meal. But for now you best leave the hold. They are going to sterilize the entire room." He said pointing to the closing doors.

La'tâ looked around a moment and then looked to Jaqsi, she wanted to relax but this was part of her duty as well so she headed over to Jaqsi. "I know I am under quarantine as well, but I can handle matters while within the isolation room. You should not have to do this much on your own."

Isolation Room:

Murr was glad her seccion was over and her debriefing was finished via computer. She stood up and moved to lay down, letting others have a chance at the console. She passed by the bed with the drinks in their covered containers. She nodded, hearing Keyul speak. She patted his shoulder as she passed by him to a bunk to rest on with her drink.

She wilted onto the bed, glad that the ordeal was a fast fading memory. Lessons learned. She looked forward to possibly meeting the new person she saw back in the hanger. Would she be any different than the others when they find out she was mute?

She sipped on her drink, eyes closing halfway as she sipped on her drink and let her memories flow....

Jaqsi looked up from the patient she was tending to. While the wound looked serious it was actually fairly simple for her to treat. She turned to look at La'tâ and pondered. After a moment she said, "Go ahead and give the others a full screening. Then take blood samples for analysis. If there is no sign of contagion they can be released and we will do a thorough examination of the blood work later."

La'tâ gave a soft nod and moved to grab a hand held medical scanner, leaving Jaqsi the medical bed since she was tending to injuries. "Everyone, please separate into two groups. The left for those who are injured, you will be treated by Wapoin'asa Yaobas. Those who are not injured gather at the right, you be screened and have your blood taken for further testing." She then grabbed a cart and put supplies on it, mainly syringes for taking people's blood.

She gave everyone a minute or so to get settled and into their groups. Then she had the first person in her group come up so that she could get to work scanning him and get his blood sample.

Syaboa watched the others doing there jobs and felt slightly useless at this point, she made sure all the Stako that were needed to be braced were braced. She sat to the side of everyone and started to play with her weapons that were on her belt, all daggers and all designed differently so no two had anything but material the same. Syaboa stops and looks over at the people still remaining in the Cargo Hold and coughed "hello for all those who have just came back, I am Syaboa Purpur and I am your newest crew mate, I am a warrior and will try to help as best I can, but my skills only really lay in fighting than anything else, but I will try."

Isolation/Quaritine:

Murr moved as directed, still sipping on her drink. With blood drawn by La'ta, and the usual scans. She was fine. The usual bumps and strains from operation of a Stako. Emotional stress was handled fine, except being a bit fidgety in wanting to pamper herself. But Quaritine protocals remained in effect for another hour or till the medics deamed she was clear to leave.

Then Pampering Time! Yes she was female and didn't hide it either by the way she took the time to look good. Dress properly. 8 hour work shift, unless called to extend it. Still she had time to look her best.

Being in Quaritine and after the medical check-up. Murr began to groom herself, polishing and filing her claws so that they shone brightly. Using her claws as combs to brush out her fur, looking content as she past the time.

"Thank you for completing my examination. I need to get to the temple and then file my report with the Tin-Ta'a. I suspect that we will be leaving the planet shortly." Keyul said.

Potos walked over to Syaboa. "Since you are no longer required to help with the Stako. Why don't you take the Rotygo Acco Stako down to the armory. Clear the weapons and then inspect them. Any that you find that need repairs should be put in a crate and take replacement ones from one of the other containers. Saorm will be there shortly and he can assist you. Besides it will give you a chance to familiarize yourself with what we have in stock in the armory."

Syaboa nodded at Potos, a twinkle in her eye, she went and collected the Rotygo Acco Stakos and made her way to the armoury happy and thankful that she could do something that she actually didn't need to be taught.

Armoury

As Syaboa walked into the armoury and saw that is wasn't fully set up with a lot of containers with weapons in them as she looked around she decided to unpack all the containers when she had the time to put them all on the shelves but shock her head and got the stuff ready for cleaning. Syaboa smiled as she took apart the first weapon and cleaned all the parts separately and then checked to see if it was in working order "all is acceptable" she remade it and put it on a shelf then started on the next, doing the same as the first and finding it broke she put it in a container and got a new one putting it on the shelf with the first.
