Screeeeeech... GA-DONK!

Harrison skidded under the first armory door just as it was about to shut. He climbed slowly to his feet and checked to make sure the ARROWs were once again secure before moving to the second door in record time.

"Gee, thanks for waiting up Viktor." Harrison said sarcastically as he arrived near Fian.

The Master Chief banged his fists on the first door, it felt solid enough to him to withstand a few Panzerfaust hits so he felt relieved for a while. At the very end of the tunnel was a closed heavily armored double door that led directly into the Armory. As the wrecked Crooked Demon that laid near his feet must have come from that direction, it was highly likely that the Pirates had emptied that weapons trove before they got here. There might not be suits, worse, enemy operated suits inside. Sighing, he raised his Type 1 towards the direction of the Armory doors and moved up next to Trey and Viktor.

"My squad overlay says that his vitals are still okay." He motioned at Henry. "Is the damage to his suit critical or stabilized?"

"I'm fine, thank you, Private Kingston" Trey answered the new marine, before looking over Henry's PA. "From out here, his suit looks okay, but I wouldn't be surprised if something's been knocked loose inside." trying to get a better look, Trey hefted the PA-clad unconscious marine to his feet and gave him a good look over. "Well, It looks like this plate here" Trey said, pointing out the plate in question, "Has been knocked loose, and the arm won't work until the pieces behind it get replaced." with a slight grunt, the Sniper began pulling Henry down closer to the armory door. "When we going in?" he asked, looking at the Master chief.

"As soon as we form up." Fian grabbed Henry from Trey, the latter could use his free arm to aim the ponderous LBR and the former could benefit from the M2's still working shields. He stuck close to the walls in a crouch. "Harrison, way back with your PAL. Don't fire it unless we are all dead. Penton, behind me, ready your LBR. Viktor, get the door open."

"Roger, PAL offline. Am I still green for FECs?" Harrison crouched against the wall a few yards away from Fian, Viktor and Trey. He turned the mass of his FIRE towards the first emergency shutter while Fian engaged the second, preparing to cover his team when (if) the pirates broke through.

"If I can't; I can try and procure a gun off one of the dead guys and hit them with my sword."

"Thanks" Trey muttered, suddenly unburdened, and readied his LBR as ordered. He pointed towards the blast shutter, making sure he was loose enough to be able to snap to the correct aim if something came through. He waited for Fian to open the door, hoping there wasn't anything behind it that would kill them.

Viktor smirked to himself. "Just trying to keep you on your toes, Harrison," was his reply. In all honesty, Kingston thought Harrison was just being a tad overly dramatic about it all, but it wasn't a big deal. Fian was already giving the next set of commands and Viktor was moving forward to the door. He confirmed the order with a simple, "Sir," and hit the button before crouching, LBR at the ready. "We expecting much defense, sir?"

Fian gritted his teeth. "Honestly? I hope it's completely empty." That was what he hoped, but he knew there was a large possibility that there was an enemy presence. As the heavy double doors parted, he pressed the Type 1 Chainrifle harder between his left armpits, his right side holding on to the unconscious Henry.

Turned out his wish came through... In more than one way. The armory was completely devoid of Power Armors, both of the active and stored variety. Residual particles in the air indicated live Power Armors were in the room at one point, broken NAM crates and three empty PA bays were in one corner. The room was thirty yards by thirty yards with a six yard celling. Stacked by the walls were starfighter ammunition in neat crates, the highlight of the room were at least 20 anti-starship torpedoes on storage racks, pointed towards and away from the arrives.

It looked like the roof could be opened by a control panel on one wall, on the far sight were another set of double doors similar to the one they opened, and on the floor was a medium sized trap-door which probably led to the interior of the station. The room was well lit in a white lights on the celling, while the floor was highlighted by warning stripes near the ammunition.

Fian signalled Harrison and Trey to move up while Viktor to move forward to the left side of the room, he himself started on the right side, hugging close to the walls while scanning the room cautiously. Though it was almost plain to see that there wasn't anything to be wary of.

Almost as soon as Fian had finished surveying the room the other set of double doors ground open and a Hostile Armor backed in firing its HPAR several times before sliding away from the opening and resting itself against the far wall. It almost didn't notice the group of Neplesians on the far side, raising its rifle back to firing position the Hostile looked back to the opening as if expecting someone else to come through before it closed the door. The doorway opened into a short hallway obstructed by a double bend, an AIR2 slumped against the bend's wall, HPAR residue caked across its chest, a nasty, half-melted hole punched through the armor's torso. Several shots zipped through the doorway, thankfully missing all the ammunition in the room and imbedding themselves above the doorway Fian was standing in. The Hostile seemed to glance warily back at the squad and held the HPAR pointing at them.

Trey followed Fian's orders, walking out into the bay, when suddenly the Doors opened and an unfamiliar PA backed in, Firing outwards, it seemed like it might not actually be a pirate. Still, the Sniper pointed his LBR, ready to fir if need be. When the Hostile turned around, Trey raised his Rifle to his shoulder, and called on an open channel "Unidentified PA, Stand down or we shoot"

Moments later an Aggressor armor backed around the corner of the of the hallway firing a salvo of shots down the hall from one of its shoulder mounted turret and the AMP-01a chaingun in its hands. Moving entirely into the armory it shut off it's monoeye and backed against the armory wall still in a position to fire at anything coming around the corner. Shortly after it sent out a deep voiced reply on the open channel "This is private third class Talbain, identify yourself".

"Unidentified PA, Stand down or we shoot"

"This is private third class, Anselm Wyatt of the SMoDIN forces" the HPAR remained aimed at the squad "Identify" the hostile's hand hit the door switch as P3C Talbain got through, a small thud could be heard as what may have been a missile impacted on the other side.

Fian Vel Steyr pretty much froze when the first 'Hostile' Power Armor boosted in. Assuming it was an enemy, immediately attacking while it's back was turned and unawares would be the best, negating the technological difference that might prove fatal for most of the group, especially himself since he was upfront in a damaged SDD. However, it could be a friendly unit, which in this case it would be appropriate to quickly identify themselves and assist. In any case, he simply pointed his gun at the Power Armor and waited.

Sure enough another suit backed into the armory with heavy footsteps. It was a heavy ID-Sol type 'Aggressor' Power Armor. If these two were in league and were the enemy, Fian's little group pretty much stood no chance of winning. However the Master Cheif didn't feel like going down without a fight either, so he kept that stance while Trey called them out.

Relieved that it the suits were human piloted (and pilots bound for the Acadia too, if his memory of the ship's roster was right), he lowered his rifle and responded normally, not betraying the fear he felt before. "Master Chief Fian Vel Steyr of the NSS Acadia, you two are men under my command. Give me a status report."

"Master Chief Fian Vel Steyr of the NSS Acadia, you two are men under my command. Give me a status report."

The HPAR came down immediately "Sir," the marine saluted "heavy fighting, they've got some of our suits, there's another armory not far away that's got more PAs." Another, louder thud against the door made the marine glance at it "I left my drone to keep an eye on the place... so far it's clear, but we'll have to hurry if we want to get there before the suits we burned through do."

Trey lowered his LBR, looking at the slightly odd, new Powere armors the two men wore. they were definitely NAM designs, but not ones that he had exactly seen before. perhaps maybe read about, but they were difinitely the ones Fian had been speaking of earlier.

The aggressor snapped to attention and gave a sharp salute. "Master Chief the NSS Acadia is locked down in it's dock and there are jimmy patrols all over the station. We've been engaging in skirmishes and falling back before they bring too much fire on us."

A beeping green light appeared under Fian's HUD. 'Aha, it seems like Rico has made a move. About bloody time.' His station uplink showed a number of enemy suits massing outside the first double door, while there were at least four suits lying in wait where Talbain and Anselm came in. Going into the station interior was out of the question, as it would bring the enemy Power Armors inside as well. The controls to the roof were broken. It appeared that they were boxed in.

"Listen, the enemy suits are teleoperated and I have reason to believe that the Noisemaker ECMs on your suits will affect them." He pointed at the second double doors. "A second group is counting on us for support, and a number of us needs a change of suits. I'm not going to wait here till they come in, we'll fight our way to the other armory."

A plasma cutter had begun work cutting through the first door down the tunnel. It looked like the enemy had no intention to starve them out. "Talbain, see if you can get one of those torpedoes working. I want it flying out of that door once they open it."

"Everyone else, form up on the other door!"

As soon as he was in the door, Viktor noticed the other double-doors parting and trained his gun on the opening. When a "Hostile" popped through, his gun followed it, the barrel properly directed toward the headpiece. When the "Aggressor" zipped in and both were firing in the other direction he was about to ask for identification when Trey beat him to the punch. They were friendly, thank whatever be above, although his intuition had told him as much.

Viktor crept around the side of the room to the doorway opposite that which he'd entered and posted up where the "Aggressor" had previously stood. "Do we have an approximation on how many were following you two?" Kingston asked Talbain and Wyatt. The room was about to get hot with gunfire, and Private Kingston wasn't all that keen on sticking around. "Do you think, sir, that we could close this door," referring to that which the "Hostile" had opened, "Take care of those PAs following us, and then backtrack and come over the top with the element of surprise?" Of course he wasn't the leader, so there was no room for him to make a decision, but he wanted to make sure every option was at least given a second of thought.

Talbain replied with a "Roger Chief" dropping his salute and moved over to the rack of torpedoes to set to work. With one final question of "Chief, anywhere you want this to go besides through the enemies?" he started the activation process.

Fian jiggled the M2 over his shoulder, hoping Henry would wake up but to no avail. "Well the way which we came in was an open trench area, with the potential have a lot more enemy units lying in wait for us than in the corridors. Besides, time is of the essence and we can't be backtracking." He answered that normally, it was a legit question.

"Through and slightly behind, I don't want us getting caught in the blast radius as well."
