Henry had just gotten up from the examination bed when Ryoko "greeted" him. He smiled. While Ryoko's actions could be considered impertinent, Henry was as vulnerable to flattery as anyone. Besides, Ryoko was right. Henry was fairly handsome if one overlooked his grayish cybernetic right eye.

"Shoi Yamikage, the new intel officer, correct?" he asked.

Instinctively, Shina placed her hands on Henry's arm, showing a slight hint of possessiveness.

"Ah, I should be getting back to the bridge," said Henry as he felt Shina's touch. "As you were, Shoi."

Yuri looked on silently as the admiral and his assistant left the medbay. "You know..." she said to Ryoko after the two were gone, "It's usually not a good idea to make physical contact with a superior officer. Then again, Taisho Chen seems to enjoy the attention."

Ryoko nodded to Henry and giggled quietly at Shina's possessiveness and kept a fairly amused smile on her lips as they left and turned to Yuri as she spoke. The smile faded when Yuri told her it wasn't the best idea; but Ryoko always had been one to take chances, convinced of her ability to charm her way out of deep trouble. "I'm sorry...you're right..." she hung her head as if in shame, her inferiority complex kicking in. "A second rate neko such as myself doesn't have a right to to enjoy such things." She sighed, then looked up at her.

"I don't have that much experience on ships, could you possibly help me become familiar with how it works here?" She asked her fellow neko.

Kaya turned her head to see who had adressed her and as she saw the avatar she eyed it warily. Turning around fully she took a step towards it and examined her body as if she was looking for something. "Somethings strange... no nothings strange... shhh who asked you... I did it was me...I know somethings wrong...Could her strangeness be that she is actually a projected holographic image and is fairly transparent...nonononono...I know...what...*numerous whispers*...Ahhh! You're right well done...thank you!"

After her second of thought she stopped examining the avatar and simply stated, "Smile." She then walked off to follow her orders and check the plotted course again.

When she arrived in the astrometrics room she went over to the control panel and started to double check the plotted course.

(Before you read this, I apologize for my absence. Problems in the real world.)

He watched as the door slid open into the room upon which he was about to enter. That room being his new home upon the bridge. He stepped in and snapped a quick rigid salute to the current person in charge. He didn't much care to look and notice who. He was here to do a job, and knew proper military etiquette. Though he found it odd being on this mission. So he was part of an Expeditionary force? Obviously the threat to the crew existed as meeting new planet's inhabitants could cause problems. He would not allow this crew to fall prey to something like that. No, indeed he would not allow such. He would face whatever challenges came about, and conquer them as he had most of his life. He nodded to whomever it was that simply took his station in his absence. The other simply got up and went on. He sat down and looked across his readouts. Everything seemed to be in order. His fingers danced across the various input area's on the panel. Feeding the thing commands, and retrieving what was needed for his knowledge. " hm. Looks like it's gonna be a long day..."

(OOC: It's all right, Andrew.)

"That's my job, I suppose," replied Yuri. "I'll try my best, although I mostly keep to myself. Anyway..." Yuri lied down on the examination bed that Ryoko was on a moment ago, so she could get backed up herself. "I'm gonna take a nap after this. Consider yourself off-duty until I call for you."

After hearing Kaya's comments, Celia was prodding herself on the tummy, just to make sure that she was using her flesh-and-blood neko avatar, and not a holographic projection as she occasionally did. With many ways of manifesting oneself, even an AI could get confused once in a while.

"Something wrong, Celia?" Henry was back on the bridge, and staring at her with a raised eyebrow. Meanwhile, Shina returned to her station on the bridge.

"I'm fine, sir," replied Celia, quickly clasping her hands behind her back again.

After giving Motoyama a polite nod, Henry took his seat at the captain's chair.

"Why isn't the CDD activated yet?" he asked Celia.

"I asked Taii Kamitaka to double-check the route, sir, and am monitoring her progress as we speak. We should be headed for the object system shortly."

Sure enough, within a matter of minutes, the YSS Celia and her escorts began racing toward the objective system at superluminal speeds.
