RP: YSS Eucharis [Mission 16] The Nest

Team 2
NMX Escort Ship

Mitsuko noticed Reika beginning to stir. She began to offer her assistance getting up, but wasn't quite fast enough. Soon enough those two were headed off into the ship, clearing the way. Murakami hesitated again, giving them a head start. It seemed like Helen wanted to continue alone with Reika, leaving Mitsuko behind with plenty of other Neko and the two Gartagens.

"...um...well...I suppose we should...do a better job of holding our new ship than the previous owners did." She quickly compared what she'd seen - and what information was being fed back from Helen and Reika - to what little she knew about these types of ships. Mitsuko quietly suggested to those left behind where they might reinforce their new transport, hypothesizing trouble spots and any other possible routes to the bridge.
 
Team 1
Core

"Got'cha Shosa," Takeyu nodded and gestured to his squad to follow as he began to inspect the room for possible bomb-laying areas. As he traversed the area, his eyes moved upward toward the various objects he could see - the coolant pipes catching his notice right away as he sent an order to his drones to investigate the area further.

"Yamashiro-Hei, suggestion, if you have drones - use them to scout for you," sent Takeyu.
 
Team 2 NMX Escort Ship

Akemi followed Helen and Reika aboard the ship and stopped right behind them as they came upon the Rippers. She ordered her Gartagens to stay back and watch their flanks. She then used the surface vision of her armor to aim as her superiors did to avoid significantly exposing herself and synchronized her saber-rifle shots with theirs. In addition, she sent her drones out to harass the enemy, hoping to distract them.
 
Team One

As Riko and the remainder of his squad shadowed Takeyu's squad, he looked around the core room for any signs of movement.

"I don't like the look of this Sir" he said looking up one of the ladders, "And that wonderful PA message, was also very reassuring" he added sarcastically.

As he scanned the upper area, Bors sent out a few of his drones so he could get a better view and also to calm his nerves a bit.
 
YSS Eucharis - Medical Lab

Ramiro's eyes shot open and he sucked in a sharp breath as he felt his bare back on the cold table of the Mental Backup.

Victory was standing there, trying not to look at his package. "Ah, Blueberry had me revive you. There is combat in progress. Please report to the armor bay. A soldier from the YSS Vesper will be bringing a teleporter unit you can use to rejoin the fight."

Team 1 - The Core

Riko's drones could see the next level up was covered in control panels on the outer wall and huge windows looking in at the giant aether generator in the center of the station. There were a lot of Rippers around but they weren't attacking for fear of damaging the equipment.

"Turn it off! We got intruders!" an NMX technician yelled. The techs there began to safely turn off the core.

YSS Eucharis - Bridge

"The fleets are arriving now," Hanako said. Hundreds of Star Army ships were arriving from hyperspace to directly challenge the NMX.

Team 1 - The Core

"The enemy fleet is here! We need shields!! Turn it back on!" The NMX technicians began to bring the core generator back online now, ramping up the power for combat.

Team 2 - NMX Ship

"Enemy contact!" one of the Gartagen troopers yelled as Rippers came from behind.
 
Eucharis Medlab

"Damn it!" Was the first thing that popped out of Ramiro's mouth. He knew what had happened before Victory had even said it. He stood from the table and contemplated putting on clothes for a moment, but realized that time was of essence if combat was in progress. Butt naked, Ramiro sprinted out of the medlab and towards the armor bay.

"Don't act like you're not impressed!" He called behind him.

Armor Bay

Ramiro jogged over to the first set of armor that he saw and began suiting up. The process didn't take long, and the moment the armor was functional, he selected a full set of shield modules and began equipping them.
 
Team 2 - NMX Ship

Akemi turned around and swiftly interposed herself between the Gartagens and the Rippers they had spotted and started firing on them while ordering any soldiers that had followed her to do the same. At the same time she notified Murakami of them and told her to have her soldiers try to sneak up behind them and dispatch them using the sword mode on their forearm projectors. Though she didn't like doing so, Akemi stood behind her soldiers to try to ensure she wouldn't die just yet. She also kept her shield up. As the fighting started she asked the Gartagens if they had any grenades they could throw at the Rippers and told them to use them if they did figuring they would help keep the enemy unaware of Murakami as she approached.
 
Team 1

"Understood, Sir!" Natsumi replied to her orders from Sune. She and her Neko's started up, pausing as Takeyu added his comment

"Thanks!" Natsumi said, glad her face was obscured by her helmet so no one could see her blush. She had made a bit of a newbie mistake forgetting her drones and now deployed them, sending them above to scout ahead.

As she moved up, she spotted some of the technician Neko's working to operate the station powerplant. "No need to let them do their jobs...lets take them out" she said to her infantry as she brought her rifle up, took aim and opened fire
 
Team 1, squad 2
Core

Coolent Pipes thought Takeyu as he walked up to one and knelt down, he examined to pipe, looking at where it was going and where it had come from.

He pulled some explosives from his pack, then stuffed them under the pipe, before quickly getting up and moving to the next pipe he saw - all the while still keeping an eye out for anything else that might help to overload this reactor. His eyes did fall upon the consoles, but he'd inspect those after he was done setting the explosives.
 
Team 2 - NMX Escort Ship

When the Gartagen trooper loudly announced the presence of incoming enemies, Reika focused her attention upon the nearest armored foe. Due to the loss of her rifle, the neko operatives available weapons would barely put a dent in the armor of a Ripper power suit -- so she had to use what was available to best advantage.

With both her left-arm pulse energy weapon and the lasers of her hovering drones, Reika focused all her available weapons fire upon the optical sensors of the hulking mass of metal now lurching down the passage in the direction of the second away team. Whilst damage would be minimal, with any luck her meagre weapons would at least blind or disorient their foe and allow her more heavily armed companions to deal the final death blow more easily.
 
Team 1 - The Core
Konoka had been quietly tending the wounded when she noticed Natsumi shooting at the NMX technicians. Her medical duties pretty much completed, she got out her NSP and decided to help...they could clear the area faster that way. She started shooting but kept one green eye on Takeyu.
The most important thing at the moment was helping him do his job.
 
Team 2
NMX Escort Ship

Mitsuko sighed to herself inside her suit as more people peeled off from the group to help take the bridge. That was being taken care of, at least. She decided to stick to something much less glamorous, but hopefully less dangerous as well. By now she'd had enough time to draw up a rough draft of what the ship hopefully looked like, marking off where they entered and where Helen's team had travelled. Sending this to any Neko still nearby, she ensured the entrance to the ship was closed and secured behind the last of their troops before moving out with her escorts. They would double check the rest of the ship for any stragglers, and secure everything that wasn't being currently fought over.

While moving through the ship, Murakami received an update. Following her new orders, she moved with her escorts and any other stray Neko to join the others. She wasn't taking quite the same route as the first group, though. The Rippers that had snuck up on Helen's squad must have come from somewhere, after all. Now it was their turn to find the same path and sneak up on the enemy.
 
Misato started firing at the rippers behind her that the Gartagen pointed out. She was starting to run low on rounds for her smg, so she kept her AI firing the Gauss rifle, wail she switched over to her pistol. Waving her escorts up to help cover her she dropped to a knee and started firing with a pop pop...pop pattern,
 
Team 1 - Core

Upon hearing the gunfire and Natsumi's yelling Sune looked upwards and thought. What is he doing...

"YAMASHIRO-HEIi, CEASE FIRING IMMEDIATELY DAMN YOU." Sune yelled into the comm system.

"Fire again and I will shut down your armor where you stand. I do not know what you were thinking. Those technicians you are killing have information and skills we need to accomplish this mission. Capture the surviving ones and bring them down here immediately." Sune said in a lower volume.
 
Team Two - Bridge Junction

"Good of you to show up, with your baggage none the less!" Helen shouted over the surge of sound as weapon fire took hold of their situation. Helen sized up the situation, they were between two rocks and a hard place but that was no concern. There was a clear advantage for their smaller, but more advanced, power armor units, and it was going to be what would secure their survival.

"Team Two! Listen up! Activate CFS shielding and use AIES to sync your CFS output to match between our units, stay together, and combine shield output. That should provide us suitable cover to maintain fire upon the enemy, while preventing their weapons fire from easily penetrating!" Helen smirked, before she added on the next part of her plan; "Once our CFS fields are in sync, we can combine our output to produce a scalar field through the CFS, to incapacitate the enemy armors due to their lack of proper shielding."

With Helen's plan laid out, things would hopefully go in the right direction, so long as her team would manage to form up, and get it together.
 
Team Two - Bridge Junction

Akemi immediately did as Helen commanded. She liked that she had a plan, but she didn't expect them to be in the clear unless Murakami joined them soon.
 
Team 1

"Yes sir!" Natsumi replied and ceased firing. She advanced upward to where the technicians were, keeping her rifle ready in case any rippers showed up.

"All of you, hands up!" She ordered as she approached the technicians. "Drop your weapons. You're all coming with me"
 
Team One

Bors flinched a bit as his helmets speaker blared with Sune's yelling. This thing needs a volume control.. he thought shaking his head a bit to get back into focus, glancing behind him at Takeyu setting charges Bors said "let me know if you need any help there boss" before training his rifle back to the upper levels of the core room.
 
Team 1

"If you still have explosives that would be grand," responded Takeyu as he set the next charge and slaved it to a remote detonator before moving on to the next pipe.

He crouched down in front of his pipe and set the next explosive before looking upward toward the ceiling to see if there were any other pipes, before using his suits gravity controls to boost himself up to another pipe where he set another explosive. Once primed, he got back down onto the ground floor and began to examine the room for any other pipes he might've missed, those he had set were blinking with a cautionary 'red' warning light. In order to ensure no one made a mistake, he used laser comm.'s to transmite the warning information to the team.

"Most pipe's tagged Shosa, just checking to see if there are anymore," he said to Sune as he started glancing about the area. He wasn't just looking for coolant pipes, but he was also looking with this his engineering eye could use to further cause the reactor to overload, not just blowing the pipes.
 
All suited up and modules attached, Ramiro performed a quick functions check on his armor. Once he was satisfied that everything was in order, he moved to the middle of the room and contacted Hanako.

"Shosho, Valencia-Juni. Suited up and ready for combat. Requesting teleportation coordinates."
