That caused Takeyu to stop in his tracks, no matter how much death and blood he had witnessed in his military career and even before joining the military, the mentioning of a head for some reason still brought chills down his spine. "Umm... a head?" the Yamataian soldier raised a noticable eye-brow at Six-Four statement and did a slow look back at the ship.

With a slight shake of the head, he was about to continue his way before he received the message from Murakami. The Taii stood there in thought about how to respond to the message, thinking a bit for a moment, then responded.

He looked up at the ship. "Murakami-hei, Nayacesen here. Have encountered what appears to be a Lorath ship, operated by pirates but the only survivor here - or rather - the one that is awake I should say claims that the pirates haven't been back for quite awhile. There's also quite a bit of cargo here, that also includs live-cargo as well, these pirates apparently 'bought' a few slaves."

"I am sending you a list of cargo that I can identify currently, however, it is not a comprehensive list."

Misato did as Takeyu asked and quitely moved into the shuttle. once she was in there she lowered her active camo. She waved to Victory as she appeared, whispering to Victory, "Boo, you may call me the ghost of forgotten goods." she giggled a little before moving back out of the shuttle. She kicked up her external speakers and called to Takeyu, "Sir, Sorry about taking so long to gear up, I was having trouble with my boots." She looked around and then looked directly at the ID-Sol, "Afternoon good sir. I'm Ittô Hei, Misato, "

Six Four showed them the way to the Lorath people in stasis and to the frozen head, and helped load them in the shuttle. "There's also a dead NAM employee here. I buried him but if you want, we could dig him up and bring him home. What are you doing with the ship?"

Takeyu thought on that for a moment, thinking about the ship but also the dead NAM. "I'd rather not keep the ship here, if the pirates return and see that some of their cargo is gone they'll take the ship and flee. If we were to take the ship, it'd be one less pain in the butt vessel to worry about them using against civilians.."

He looked over at the soldier, staring the man in the eyes. "I don't know Neplesia culture very well, but if it's not considered sacriledge then please unbury the body. We can have him, or her, transported back to Neplesia where your people can identify him and his family... at least then the family will have closure and he'll be buried more in line with any traditions they may have."

"Victory, do we have any body-bags in the shuttle?" he turned toward his fellow soldier and asked, and flicked a brief smile in Misato's direction. "Misato, start to catelogue the items here please."

"I don't think we do," Victory replied. "And we don't even have the plastic bags the T4 shuttles always had because we actually have a head. That's a good idea, though. I'll definitely suggest it to Star Army Logistics. The best thing I can think of is to try to put the corpse into an AMES suit."

"You guys have a shovel?" the ID-SOL asked.

Victory shook her head no. "Sorry." She looked to Takeyu. "I suggest we ask the Eucharis to come over to retrieve the items we want and to destroy the Lorath ship so the pirates can't use it."

Takeyu stood there, staring at the ship for a moments thought. "Actually Victory, recovering the vessel might be a better idea. There's no telling where these pirates have been, breaking into the navigation logs could tell us where and if anyone needs assistance not ot mention possible base locations."

"I can also, if the Shosho approves of it, request a recovery ship from my company to tow the vessel to the nearest military station. Same applies to the cargo here, my company can recover the cargo and have it placed under lockdown with access only to Eucharis crews."

He then turned back to the ship. His reasoning for the navigation data had other reasons as well, it wasn't just only because he wanted to look for people who had been taken by pirates.. but the possibility of striking a blow to the pirates, and espically slavers, would be a great boon to the civilian populace.

Misato watched as every one was talking, it hit her all of the sudden that she had grabbed a type 31 Survival Kit, in which there was an entrenching tool, ponchos, and some duct tape. She turned to Takeyu and reported all of that. "They could be used to make up a temporary body bag, Sir." While she waited for her leader to ponder all of that she set up her AI to start taking a visual inventory of the the item around.

As the list grew she couldn't help wondering what some of the items would be worth in cold hard cash. The idea of the ship being destroyed worried her. She didn't want it just to go to waste. It could be useful in some sort of fashion. "Couldn't we move the shuttle into the ship's hanger bay or cargo bay, then fly the ship back to our meet-up with our ship?"

"There is another option," Six Four said, taking the shovel. "If we wake up a Lorath we can put the corpse in the stasis pod."

"Mmm.... that is true," Takeyu rubbed his chin curiously. "Problem is what to do with the Lorath after, is this Lorath a pirate by chance?" asked Takeyu, as he took out his ICP and began to do an inventory of items in order to help speed things along.

"It's not likely," Six Four said. "They're clearly slaves, what with the collars embedded in their necks and all. One even has a remote control. What kind of sick shit is that?" The ID-SOL shuddered. "I'm going to get the corpse and after I get back let's get the hell out of here, okay?"

He went to the place where the NAM employee was buried months ago and began to dig into the earth.

Misato move around the area scanning and and looking over the items lying about. "Sir, I believe I have most if not all of the items here cataloged, and scanned. What will happen to the bulk of it?" Misato started looking over a bike that looked like it had a little motor attached to it. it really intrigued her. she had the motorcycle back in her storage, but this thing looked like something she might be able to keep aboard the ship, for when ever they took leave on a planet.

"With the war winding down, the bulk of the items here can go to colonies that are restarting, being re-established. They would need the equipment more than we would, not to mention that some of it can help other colonies get back onto their feet," said Takeyu with folded arms and looking around.

"Sir do you think that we would be able to keep any of it?" She looked around at all the stuff just laying around. She knew it was a long run but she thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. "Also what is the next step here Boss?"

"We'll recover the body," he pointed to where the ID-Sol was. "Then return to the ship, I can think that some of the items here we can keep although that will be purely up to the Shosho of course."

"Victory, you said we had a few items that we can use to wrap the body right?" Takeyu asked, his mind was working a mile a second and thus he had already forgotten about what Victory had suggested, which was somewhat worrying.

"No," Victory replied. "I said we could try putting the body in a space suit or a stasis chamber."

Six Four wiped some sweat from his brow as he looked over the dug-up corpse. "You got something to carry him with?" he shouted across the field. "I don't want to touch him more than I have to!"

Misato looked at Takeyu with a bit of amazement, "Sir It was I that mentioned the fact I have some ponchos and some duct tape. Not the most honorable way to transport a body, but it would make it easier." She walked back to the Shuttle and dug into the survival bag pulling out the ponchos and the tape.

"Do it," Takeyu looked over at Misato and said. "We can use the ponchos and tape to secure the body," he walked over to where Six Four was and knelt down, inspecting the partially dug grave.

"Misato, grab the ponchos please and lay them out flat on the ground," ordered Takeyu. "If we had another shovel I'd help you out, but I don't think we do..." his voice trailed off in thought.

HX-21 Surface, 20 minutes later

A short time later, the back of the shuttle was stuffed with two large environment systems, a somewhat putrid wrapped up poncho mummy, two bulky cryo-stasis chambers, a frozen head, and a hulking ID-SOL guy.

"Time to mosey?" Six Four asked.

Misato quickly went to work creating the body bag out of the ponchos. it was slightly hard, especially wrapping and taping the poor body up in them. When everything was said and done she bowed her head over the body and stood there for a moment.

Once that was done She turned to Takeyu, "Sir there is that bike over there, it has a little motor attached to it, Sir may I bring it back with us?"

"Sadly we don't have room," Takeyu said, and pointed toward the shuttle and how it was pretty much full. "We'll have to return at a later date for the rest of the stuff here."

"Victory, once everyone's onboard, take us home please."
