Avel's data jockey would give a series of beeps. Signaling it's now unconscious owner that the requested material had finished downloading.
In her boredom Avel had downloaded a series of movies and shows to pass the time. The beeping was just a reminder to the owner that the download had finished.
The data jockey also contained numerous weapon and armor ideas, including her personal log.
== Entry 1 ==
In the first entry Avel covers her origins where A group of scientists decide to clone a dangerous criminal to produce superior quality soldiers which actually sounds like a good idea. The scientists in question then botched her memory transfer, didn't secure the original properly, thus allowing a dangerous person to break free, kill several guards and escape. The scientists then took out their frustrations on her for seemingly no other reason than because she had been born and successfully convinced her that the whole ordeal was indeed her fault. It is clearly evident that Avel was physiologically scarred by the whole ordeal.
== Entry 2 ==
In the second entry Avel covers her time in training. Details include her obvious reasons (peer pressure) for joining, focusing entirely on training and giving up social interaction to be the best. Going as far as to pick fights with ID-Sols just to see how long she could last. She also built up her skills at manipulation and never had to steal to get things for free. Avel also notes her memory seizures and mounting fear of having one in the middle of a battlefield. But if she quit her creators would be right.
== Entry 3 ==
Avel covers her first mission on the Cirrus Research Facility. She compares Cassefin Montreal to her creators and admits to despising her for the way she treated the Marines but hiding it behind a forced smile. She also covers her manipulating of one of the scientists into giving her a room in an attempt to impress her Sargent. But then partook in a failed rescue mission before she could say anything.
== Entry 4 ==
Avel then covers suddenly waking up in the next year with no idea what happened or why she was demoted to P4C. She is then assigned to the NSS Asp under the command of Admiral Wazu and takes part in the investigation of an NMX occupied beef ranch. She also notes the weird stares she's been receiving ever since she stepped aboard the ship.
== Entry 5 ==
The next entry covers her mission to the beef ranch, her failed attempt at helping Cedric and her customized HPAR (Which later turned out to be an abysmal failure), as well as meeting Harm (Whom she call an "undisciplined, unprofessional, incompetent, degenerate scumbag with the moral ethics of a hyena and a far less tolerable laugh.") and Phaedra. She also begins to piece together enough hints to know that whatever happened, was bad enough to be sealed by the IPG and was now afraid of finding out the truth.
== Entry 6 ==
The next entry covers the disaster mission at the black syndicate casino... thing, getting shot in the face and the team loosing one of their own. She was going to accuse whoever thought that sending the very man responsible for the downfall of an organized group of violent and psychopathic criminals was a bad idea. But she hadn't done any better herself so she kept it to herself... Mostly..
== Entry 7 ==
Avel covers the meeting where she helps create the defense manual and pitches her idea for what would later be the LAG grenade. She later discovers that it truly was her own fault that her life was like this. She begins to wonder if she can really go on forever like this.
== Entry 8==
Faced with the concept of never being anything but a failure no matter how hard she tried Avel considers suicide and wonders if she can really go through with it. Then again, she couldn't just quit the marines and start a new life. No. Any chance of a bright future was pissed away when she signed up for something she didn't even want any part of.
== Entry 9 ==
Avel begins to realize certain "unfortunate truths" about herself. She could have simply sued her creator and lived a life of relative luxury, run her own business or done anything she wanted. Instead she allowed herself to be suckered into a dead end job with ZERO prospects.
== Entry 10 ==
Avel seriously contemplates just ending it, but first there is just one last thing she needs to find out. Then the hell with everything else. If she did work up the courage to pull the trigger, she probably deserved to die for being so gullible and stupid. She would also be ridding her unit of a serious problem which was good. They didn't deserve to bear the brunt of her problems.
== Entry 11 ==
Avel calls herself pathetic. Even though she could see through all the propaganda, oaths and patriotism as just a means to get people to fight, she was still pathetic. Because she had given in and signed up without question.
== Entry 12 ==
Avel views Phaedra's attempts at promoting teamwork to be nothing more than a glorified camping trip. All they had done is climb a rock wall and walk around the woods all day. They could have been running through obstacle courses, navigating different types of terrain while completing different objectives/challenges or fighting androids in an accurate simulation of a real battlefield. Then again, she wasn't leadership material either so she wouldn't say anything. Harm was better qualified than her.
