Wardroom
"Oh? You're new too?" Jax asked and patted the patch down one last time for good measure, using trained eyes to look for any damage to the patch itself, and any breaks in the seal. When he was satisfied that the room was airtight again, he hopped off the table.
"If this is an average day, I want a raise." he joked, glancing around the room for any more holes they could have missed.
"We should hurry to the fab-lab. If someone's already got on that fire, they may need some help." Jax said, beckoning for Umeshu to follow. He decided to take the tape and patch kit with him, as one could never know if there were any more holes that needed fixing along the way, and began jogging for the cargo lift that would take them downwards. He waited for her inside, and would hit the button when she stepped in.
Not even one day had passed and the ship had been pummeled, and everyone's life had been in danger.
"My mom's gonna strangle me when she finds out about this..." Jax groaned as he began envisioning the next time he got a chance to call her.
'Although, on the bright side, this DID give me much needed insight into combat, even if I didn't actually do any fighting. Maybe I should scrap my current book idea and start back on square one? ' Jax mused internally, leaning against the wall of the lift. But then, another thought; this one a little unrelated.
'God, I hope there's a stash of cold brewskies somewhere on this tub...'
