Med Lab

Taharial looked at him and shuddered "yea..... that is something...." she stopped for a bit "wait you said you were in an explosion, was there anyone else with you!?" She got worried, if this idiot left someone dying it may be too late for that person to be healed, at least she had everyone backed up so if the worst came to pass she could create a new body for the crew, she hated this idea of failing the crew.

"I ask you again, was there anyone there with you!?" She glared at the boy who was acting like he was a man "if you have left someone injured somewhere on the ship, you better hope I tell the higher ups before I get back, they don't call me the butcher for nothing." Taharial couldn't be asked to listen to the guy and grabbed his arm tightly then pulled him into one of the three Containment Cells in the Med Lab and closed the door "you're staying in there."

Around The Ship

Taharial had some medical equipment as she made her way around the ship then stopped and sighed "Charisma, can you tell me where the ship has sustained explosions, I need it urgently."

"Yes Santo Hei Chasen, there has been damage in engineering and in the armour bay." Charisma responded, Taharial thanked Charisma and made her way to engineering first.

Engineering

Tharial ran into engineering and quickly looked around "hello!"

Hashimoto-shoi couldn't help but laugh a little nervously for a moment. "For a first day on the job, I would say it has been... very eventful." It seemed it was time to start on the Molecure Tape, so she began to do so, making a few adjustments to the keypad before application. "It has been filled with many ups..." Umeshu made an upward motion with the dispenser, "...as well as downs." She followed those words with a similar stroke as well. "But always filled with excitement, too. From what I hear and have read, this is just another day following the legendary Hanako-shosho into battle."

To Shuttle Bay

Mitsuko's helmet bobbed as she nodded in reply to Hanako, getting at least some information out of the captain. Just a few moments later she spotted Blackberry, the two having to press against the tunnel walls on their respective sides to squeeze through. "E-excuse me. Oh, please be careful, Blackberry-Chui." She smiles and bobbed her head, about the best bow she could manage in the tight space. Moments later she was gone, and Murakami was poking her head out of the floor in the Shuttle Bay.

She settled in and ran all of the pre-flight checks, trying to move quickly and efficiently without missing anything. Soon the Bay doors had opened and the Raccoon shuttled slowly, cautiously poked out. "...oh m-my." She moved the shuttle around the ship to the open PA Bay, trying to scan inside, noticing some movement as the ship's sensors tagged the crew members visible in the destroyed area. "Suites-Hei, Akiashiro-Hei, is there anyone else in there with you?" Mitsuko rotated the shuttle around to point its backside towards the ship, opening up the rear door. She stayed at the controls for now, worried she might need to move quickly, but kept an eye on the rear cameras in case they needed her help loading anyone or anything into the shuttle.

"Oh? You're new too?" Jax asked and patted the patch down one last time for good measure, using trained eyes to look for any damage to the patch itself, and any breaks in the seal. When he was satisfied that the room was airtight again, he hopped off the table.

"If this is an average day, I want a raise." he joked, glancing around the room for any more holes they could have missed.

"We should hurry to the fab-lab. If someone's already got on that fire, they may need some help." Jax said, beckoning for Umeshu to follow. He decided to take the tape and patch kit with him, as one could never know if there were any more holes that needed fixing along the way, and began jogging for the cargo lift that would take them downwards. He waited for her inside, and would hit the button when she stepped in.

Not even one day had passed and the ship had been pummeled, and everyone's life had been in danger.

"My mom's gonna strangle me when she finds out about this..." Jax groaned as he began envisioning the next time he got a chance to call her.

'Although, on the bright side, this DID give me much needed insight into combat, even if I didn't actually do any fighting. Maybe I should scrap my current book idea and start back on square one? ' Jax mused internally, leaning against the wall of the lift. But then, another thought; this one a little unrelated.

'God, I hope there's a stash of cold brewskies somewhere on this tub...'

Space, PA Bay door

"Murakami-Heisho, Akiashiro is unconscious but stable. I'm still looking for-" Candon stopped as he caught sight of a helmet leaking air. Only a helmet in use would have life support systems running. "I've found Miyako-Hei."
With no gravity Akane was blown upward into the damaged storage racks, out of sight. Candon quickly and very carefully pulled her down and brought her into the shuttle before going back for Aikiko. Once both his comrades were in the shuttle he contacted Mitsuko again, "all in, Heisho."

Bridge

Natsumi took a deep breath as she worked at the Eucharis' controls, figuring out how she was flying now with the damage to her propulsion and maneuvering systems. The ship was going to be sluggish to respond, especially with the loss of some of the engines on one side. Landing her was going to be a trick as well. That, Natsumi was not overly looking forward to.

She went through everything several more times and had Charisma run a quick diagnostic on the flight control systems as well. The report was not very good, but, she thought she could get her on the ground one way or another, hopefully safely set down on the landing gear.

"Once things are ready with the antigrav systems, I can take her down" Natsumi said to Hanako, glancing back from her station, "Do we have a landing site?"

Cargo Lift

Umeshu hopped off the table gracefully and gave another check of the other side of the wardroom and it seemed there were no other holes to be found, thankfully. The place still needed a good cleaning up, but that would have to wait until the rest of the Eucharis wasn't on fire or shot up like Xilurian cheese. "Think of it this way, we have had more experience in a handful of hours than some soldiers have in a year. As for that raise, I will see what I can do..."

She tapped her communicator to relay the good news to the captain, giving him a small smile as she spoke. "Hashimoto-shoi to Bridge, hull breach in wardroom has been patched, thanks to technician Jackson-hei's expert work. We are proceeding via cargo lift to assist with firefighting efforts in fabrication bay. I will be returning to station once that is mopped up."

After closing the connection, she stepped into the lift and thanked him for his courtesy. Though when he mentioned family Umeshu got a bit quieter. "It must be nice to have a family like that. For us manufactured Nekovalkyrja the concept can be a bit... different. But I can see your mother raised you to be a gentleman, though, Jackson-hei. If you can return to her with as many stories as you can so she can laugh more than shed tears, then I would consider that being a good son." She said this from her heart, as she too wanted to regale her sisters with her exploits. Perhaps then she would finally earn respect from them...

The purple-skinned officer watched him with her sage green eyes for a long moment, and she quirked an eyebrow quizzically. Suddenly the software inside of Howard's Minkan brain registered a telepathic message, which could be unnerving if one was not used to using this encrypted form of peer-to-peer communication. "Were you asking something about alcoholic beverages? If we do get a chance, I wouldn't mind sharing one with you later to celebrate, ne?"

Shuttle

Mitsuko closed the rear hatch, slowly moving away from the Eucharis. She glanced back into the shuttle at Candon in his armor over the two unconscious figures. "Were they both injured in the explosion that damaged the PA Bay?" They really should reinforce that area, it seemed. Once the shuttle was safely away from the Eucharis, she moved back to check on her three passengers. "The captain has ordered us to continue to the Lighthouse. We should attempt to revive them before we get any closer." She moved to assist the only other crew member still standing.

Bridge

"Stark, join the away team to inspect the lighthouse," the Shosho nodded.

Hanako then scrutinized the planet below as the ship slowly sunk down into the atmosphere. "There are a lot of open fields from this planet's use as a farm world. We can land in one of them. Maybe one that is a day or two in on-foot travel time from the site of the old NMX Logistics center."

She looked to her experienced first officer "Saiga, can you compile a list of damage that we took and get that information out to everyone?"

Shuttle

Mitsuko closed the rear hatch, slowly moving away from the Eucharis. She glanced back into the shuttle at Candon in his armor over the two unconscious figures. "Were they both injured in the explosion that damaged the PA Bay?"
"Yeah," Candon replied as he took a knee next to Akane with a roll of Molecure tape in hand, "they never launched so the door stayed open too long. A fighter dumped a few mini missiles at it."

He cut off a piece with his thumb and laid it neatly over a fracture in the helmet's air system, smoothing it out to seal the small leak.

"They were both involved in an explosion, Akiashiro-Hei had been pinned under one of those large supports for the armor racks. Miyako had lost most of her pressure. We should get them to Taharial, I'd be surprised if either could fight like this... Speaking of which, I need some help," he removed his helmet and let the left side open to free his bruised left arm. He then slid his freed hand between the suit and his chest to his right shoulder that had been dislocated, holding it steady so the rest of the armor could open without damaging his shoulder further. The idle armor had it's back leaned against the ramp and it's pilot almost in tears as the top was fully opened, "If we're heading to the lighthouse I'll need a hand getting my shoulder set and Taharial will be busy enough with the other injured crew. Could you help?" His words were fairly abrupt though one could attribute that to the pain was experiencing.
With the amount of bruising present on his shoulder it was obvious that no matter where or how she would touch his arm it was going to be very painful for him.

Med Lab

It would seem his angel liked him so much, she put him in a cell to keep him with her forever. Sam felt special. Course, he didn't understand why she got so angry. The explosion put a hole in the ship. Had he tried opening the pressurized doors and entering the Engineering Room to play hero for the hot neko, he would have been sucked into space and been dead by now from suffocation. Now, what good would that have done anyone? He sighed. Sometimes girls were just weird.

Cargo Lift
Jax hit the button and scratched the back of his head, feeling just a little bit guilty. He'd forgotten about the nekovalkyrja, and how he was fortunate in the respect that he had family.

But that stopped when he heard Umeshu's voice in his head. He jumped, and recoiled.

"What the hell?!" he cried, looking around. It took him a moment, but he eventually got the memo.

"Right. Telepathy and stuff... Hell yeah! Let's do it," Jax replied, his face a little red with embarrassment. Once again, being an immigrant had its cons. There had to be some sort of setting like "airplane mode" on this thing. This had been one of several times he'd accidentally let his thoughts slip. The doors opened, and the fabrication bay was before them. Smoke filled the air, and flames could be seen throughout. "But first..."

Fabrication Bay

"Have no fear! The tech is here!" Jax announced jovially to Mango and Lime, who he saw were already engaged in fire suppression. He casually strolled from the elevator, a light bounce in his stride, and a relaxed grin about his features. Fires were nothing. He'd practiced putting them out loads of times before. It sure beat being shot at!

Jax reached the damage control station and pulled out an extinguisher, tossed it to Umeshu, and then pulled out one for himself.

"Alright! Everyone looks ready to roll," he observed. He faced the two other nekos. "Hi, I'm Jax- new guy- and I'll be helping you with putting out a fire today!"

Shuttle

Mitsuko blinked as the one conscious crew member begin removing parts of his armor. "What are...oh." She briefly paused to touch the two downed armors, the AIES of each letting her know their contents were injured, unconscious, but currently stable. "...I am not formally trained as a Medic." She frowned as she considered his shoulder. "But, I might be able to handle this. Hold still. Please." It took her a few moments to position herself, pressing her knee against one arm while both hands rested on the other. "If you concentrate, you should be able to block the pain. At least long enough for this." She gave him a moment to prepare himself, while she contacted the Eucharis.

"Ketsurui-Shosho, Chasan-Hei, I have taken the three members of the armor team aboard the shuttle. All three are injured and two are unconscious. Should I continue on, wait for Taharial to join us, or return with the injured crew members?"

Once she finished, she yanked hard, using her unnatural strength to force the dislocated shoulder back into place with an uncomfortably loud pop. She shuddered, before trying to help Suites back into his armor. "The Mindy should be able to keep it in place and accelerate the healing process now. Just...try not to move around right now." Once Murakami was sure he was settled, she returned to the controls of the shuttle.

Bridge

"Yes'em." Stark responded as she sent the controls to the now dead weapons to Natsumi, before hopping out of her chair.

Between Bridge, her cabin, and The PA bay

As she left the bridge she flipped the mask of her environ suit down over her face. She made her way to her cabin to grab her rifle. No way was she going to leave with out it. As she moved quickly though the passageways she looked at all the damage from the fight. Things were knocked over and all disorganized. As she entered her cabin she let out a sigh in relive that her rifle, in it's case, was still where she left it.

Quickly she moved and got the rifle put together. Slipping the barrel in place, then the butt, she started humming a tune that helped her memorize the build of her rifle. It took her thirty seconds before she had the scope clicked into place and she was sliding the first magazine into its home.

As she left the room she slid the rifle onto her back, and made sure the strap would hold it in place. her right hand resting on her HGG and her left holding the strap she slide through the airlock into the PA bay.

"Hey Ho I get to go!!!" She said over the comms before she saw what was going on. Her voice dropped down into a serious business tone. "What can I do to help."

Candon did his best to relax as she got ready but her timing caught him completely off guard, a necessary evil for setting a shoulder. As it popped into place his right arm involuntarily flexed straight while he tightly gripped Mitsuko's shoulder with his left hand. It wasn't the first time he'd dislocated a shoulder but the passion left him in tears every time it was fixed. As the pain subsided he released his grip on her shoulder panting out a 'thank you' as he carefully guided his injured arm back into the armored sleeve.

With the armor back on it automatically braced his fractured left arm and right shoulder. This was one of those times that he was glad that he shot automatic weapons from his left arm. Once Mitsuko returned to the cockpit he took a seat and placed his helmet next to him. His armor's holographic projector system projected a flat image of a grid in front of him with a D-pad on his left knee and two buttons on his right. In a moment a variety of shapes made of square bricks would begin falling from the top of the grid with Suites guiding their decent.

Shuttle

Aikiko stayed still as pain made itself known from places she normally didn't worry about. Eyes closed as she took stock. 5 of the mangle manipulator arms wiggled as it tried to fill. But the fluids squirted out from various ruptures near the base. The six was completely missing.

Her Mindy looked like it had a high speed collusion with an asteroid. Dented and scrapped down to raw metal of the armor, showing hardened sealant material in the gaps of ripped open armor from the impacts of flying debris at lethal velocity.

She just laid there in her silent inoperable armor. She let the crippling pain wash over her and fade away into a dull ache. and the big ball of pain where manipulator arms connected to her SPINE interface and to the Mindy. She often wondered why she put herself through such misery by serving aboard a warship.

Engineering

Taharial heard what was being asked about where the shuttle should go and gulped "I am in engineering Mitsuko, I can get there but as it seems you aren't on the ship I will have to get my armour on to reach there, but then I need to know where the shuttle currently located. If you can bring it back then I can help you that seems to be the quickest option, as then I can enter the shuttle and deal with it all there", she hoped she was making the right call "please bring them back to the Eucharis."

Taharial took one last look around engineering before running off towards the shuttle bay so she can be on the scene for when the shuttle came in.

Shuttle Bay

Taharial checked what she had brought, and smiled as she had most of what she needed and knew that the shuttle would have at least one kit on board, if not she would have to take them to the Med Lab.

Planet Higaflan

Emerging cloudy skies, the still-smoking form of the Eucharis appeared as the ship came drifting down to the surface, and, extending its landing gear, plopped down in the middle of a muddy former cornfield that extended for miles around. Whether it was damage or the forceful stomp of a landing, the forward landing gear didn't deploy all the way and the ship ended up slightly downward facing, leaving the interiors at a slight forward angle. They had made it safely.

Bridge

"Good work, Natsumi," Hanako said, looking at the barren field on the screen. "We can set up camp here and conduct repairs." She called down to Victory. "Victory, set up an outpost with a perimeter as best you can."

Fabrication Bay

The bay was covered in foam and blackened with soot. It was difficult to see in there ebcause of the lack of lightning and the thick smoke that still hung in the air. "I think we just landed," Lime shouted through her AMES helmet as she peeled herself off the floor. "A bit rough if you ask me. How are we going to fix the ship if we can't make anything in here?" She felt her away around in the dark until she ended up grabbing Jax. "Oh! Hello!"

"I'm going up to the armor bay," Mango grunted. She excited from the trashed fabrication bay and got on the cargo lift, riding it upwards. She spotted Victory opening the rear cargo bay ramp.

Shuttle

Mitsuko opened the rear door of the shuttle to admit Stark as she came to join them, sealing it back up behind her as the Eucharis disappeared towards the surface of the nearby planet. "So much for getting medical attention for any of you..." The Neko grumbled half to herself, but loud enough for Suites to hear even as he tried to distract himself with some sort of game. She plotted in a course for the shuttle to approach the Lighthouse, before turning and heading into the rear of the shuttle to greet the newest arrival.

"Cadet Stark, welcome. Suites-Hei is injured but mobile, the other two were put out of action by the explosion that damaged the PA Bay. I'm sure you know what that's like." She shook her head as she looked down at the two Mindys. "It's probably safer to leave them in their armor, for now." She turned to address Suites as well, trying to include both of the conscious crew members in the discussion. "The Lighthouse has a docking area on the top floor. One floor below is a compact medical lab, complete with ABMU. If everything goes well, the best course of action would be to head there and care for these two. Agreed?" She glanced between Candon and Stark again.

"Chasan-Hei, cancel that, the Eucharis is moving out of range and you will be needed there. Hopefully we will be updating you and the Shosho soon."

Shuttle

"No... No I don't. I've made it this far with out dieing or really getting hurt." She moved and knelt next to the injured. "Is there a way to get a vitals and imaging of their injuries? I might be able to help them, I got some medical training." Stark fought to keep from laughing, not even a few years ago treating a Neko would have been unheard of for a Nepliesian trooper. And here she was asking to do it.

"if anything I can possibly make them more stable until we can get them to the med bay aboard the ship." She looked up trying to smile and look reassuring. She might not be able to do anything more then slap bandages on them. But then again with the right gear she might be able to do more.

"We have any med kits here?"
