RP: Setareh Wing [Mission One] Metal on Metal

~45,000 KM From New Veyrin Space Station

Hearing the orders of Padme, Karuah stopped giving cover fire and changed locations, IFF still working so that Altair could find her, but this way the enemy would not know their location with their Phantona Sinks active.

Once the other pilot arrived, Karuah converted back into her frame form and did a quick scan.

"Damage is mostly superficial, however the shoulder emitters and armor have been compromised." Spoke Saeid's voice soon after the scan had started. "The paneling can be restored with Pranja and replacement plates."

"Okay open the VNS portal and get the proper plates and the applicator." Naruah then sighed and switched to the radio line to speak with Altair. "Okay I'm going to repair your armor, however, I can't to replace your VNS emitters without getting out of my VANDR. You'll eitehr have to fall back to a safe distance with no stray fire or initiate a controlled field collapse of your VNS storage. You'll lose all your Star Adder missiles left, but turning them into gas is a lot better than a meltdown."

As she spoke Saeid opened up a small portal and pulled out the necessary spare parts. The first step was removing the damaged shoulder armor that was damaged and then applying some Pranja before placing on a replacement pannle. This accelerated the bonding process and allowed the armor to be secured quickly.

Zoren and Enigma were buffeted as the attack tore a leg off of the Reavr. Dr.Zoren grimaced. "That's cute... now you die." He activated his sword and sliced the Soono in half. "Enigma status report." The doctor said calmly.

"Doc, port hydraulics levels are decreasing, port side shock cannon and sword offline, port side coolant levels dropping."

"Cut coolant and hydraulics to the port side legs. Rerouter power into remaining leg and transform. In space, that missing leg won't affect our fighter mode." He said as his Reavr transformed. Only problem is that half of the nose was gone from the fighter. This would only be a problem if they were in an atmosphere...

"Let's end this..." Zoren said throttling up and activating the remains sword.

"Let's get em doc!" Enigma replied as Zoren turned his fighter into a flying lance.

"Divert all shield forward and watch my sides!" The doctor added as he flew through a group of Soonos, diving and twisting about faster than was safe for a normal pilot.

About 45,000 meters from New Veyrin Space Station

Lucidity was flashing warnings before Irfan had caught onto what was really coming her way. The screens fixed into the two approaching Soono as her wingmates were handling their own shootouts and death-battles. But this pilot was more than ready for her first taste of a daring action... and fired her maneuvering thrusters in combination with her main movement engine. Trails went ripping through space around her as she ducked under one of the volleys and the Haidan rolled. Enemies adjusting as she began her closing maneuver, she had only the best of ideas. Firing her missile tubes and mortar, the sheer amount of explosives pumped out was going to appear intimidating. A brief snipe between the volley tore out a piece of Soono-One's hip, shots flying through the field as point defense and their attacks continued.

"Tch... that's it, blow them up!" Irfan's face was growing with a smile even as the Haidan raised a hand and shielded itself from one of the sole on-target shots, the machine cackling and folding around the blades as she withstood the damage at least structure-wise. But by that point, with a field of explosives between her and her opponents, it was a matter of putting her own tactic to action. With so much firepower, they were already trying to move apart and out of the way of sheer firepower... and in that act, she pushed her machine to the limit and barreled under and toward the injured enemy machine. The other strafed and tried to fire on her, one of her missiles impact its arm as it rotated at the quickly redirecting threat. The cone-like charge smashed through the forearm and blew out part of its chest to effectively score a kill. The missiles were, after all, fired in mass with no prior-locked target. There was no warning beyond that of a distance warning and by then it was too late with the focus on Irfan!

Soono-One, however, wasn't so unfortunate. The machine dodged the incoming fire well enough, trailing fire along the still-shielding arm of Lucidity. The ANIOS was cursing at the top of its lungs at the state of its more and more maimed limb, but Irfan was sacrificing a limb to ensure she took minimal damage during this closing maneuver. The others were hopefully faring well without her support, but she could do nothing beyond laugh and focus on the opponent she was closing in on at an alarming rate. And, just as the enemy seemed ready to launch an all-out attack on the nearly foolish charge... she finally was confirmed of what she was waiting for. With the slightest angle deviation, the Haidan slipped out of reality in the same blink the pilot probably had as they fired on the Astral Vanguard craft. It had no doubt clicked what happened, but by then Irfan had dropped out of her short-range FTL beside the Soono... and swept around and cut the machine's arm off at the elbow and cleaved a clear cut through half of its torso.

"Two kills, one arm... gooooood! Good! Good. Song reporting two dead Soono, but Lucidity's left arm is trashed! Still good to fight, though!"

~90,000 KM or 3 Light Seconds from New Veyrin Space Station

Watching the last Soono die, Naak shouted, "Now, Ki!"

In a matter of seconds, the assault frigates arrived and veered towards where they had clear shots at the station, double the distance away from the station and to directly to the side of where the Setareh Wing was positioned. In unison, their anti-starship PWAC-A missiles fired. Ten seconds later, they fired again, burning holes in the shields. Another ten seconds later and the three frigates fired their missiles again, destroying the section of the hull they were working on.

New Veyrin Space Station

"Move in!" Naak said decisively while she herself was flying into the breaches in the station's hull. "Prepare to exit your VANDR with your supercapacitors, laiz carbines, pistols, and rifles at the ready!"

To Ki Lea, the missions operator back on the Arha, she said, "We're making our way in! Have the frigates ready for retrieval in case of emergency!"

Then to her wing, she spoke again, "Padme, you're taking the CIC with Irfan Song and Karuah! It's important to decommission the NI! Altair, Zoren, Ekia, and Sanjaya, I need you to group up with me right away as we'll be lacking comms while inside! We're taking the bridge!"

Once she had gotten through the holes carved out, she told Victory, "I'm getting out now. I know you can't do much without me, but turn your Optical Distortion Emitter on and stay put."

"Ride on the wings of victory," the ANIOS told her.

With that, the prajna gel drained and she was released from the cockpit. She hopped down, landing in a safe spot among the wreckage, and waited for the rest of the Setareh Wing. Thanks to somatic enhancements that all Astral Vanguards got, she was able to breathe in the vacuum that the frigates had created aboard the New Veyrin Space Station.

"Irfan, Karuah!" Padme spoke out in her infantine voice, "I'm landing right now!" She got out of her Erla II and jumped down next to Naak Behea.

"Padme," Naak said to the FIOMNI. "I want you to have direct line of communications with Nanise, the Sengraiv, and Ki Lea, at all times."

Padme replied fast and to the point, "Confirmed!"

Now that Altair's Reavr was somewhat repaired, he vector translated to nearby the landing zone for the rest of the wing and touched down gracefully. "Stay safe while I'm out here Hawk." Altair said to the Reavr.

"Affirmative. The same to you." The ANIOS Replied.

Leaving his Laiz rifle behind, as it was most likely to be close quarters inside the station, Altair brought along his carbine, held at the ready, and his pistol securely in his holster

Hopping out and jetting into the hull of the station with his weapons at the ready. Having received no specific orders, Altair just remained on the lookout for hostiles.

Zoren brought his Raver about and moved in for a landing. He brought his craft down inside the breach and grabbed his Laiz Rifle and Pistol. "Alright. Lock down and keep an eye out. I am leaving you in charge of the floor." Zoren said using medical lingo. '

"You can count on me boss." Enigma replied as his cockpit opened and he jumped out.

He quickly moved and stood next to Naak. He smirked. "Nice flying boss." He said cycling his weapons and checking his armor. His surgical kit was slung from his shoulder, a red cross on the side signifying its purpose. His armor was also black and also a cross on his right shoulder.

The Station

With the others leading the way, one of the latter of the VANDR to arrive was the arm-damaged Lucidity. Irfan had her orders, the cockpit opening slowly after releasing her from her uplink. The machine had been through a beating, so leaving it to explore some station was a blessing for it and fun for her. Of her comrades, it was easy to understand that she was itching for some possibility that the CIC was guarded instead of some brutal wipe-out.

"Pft! No worries, I got your butt!" Irfan voiced along as she moved into a ready position to Padme's right, rear flank. "Lucy is depending on the rest of them to look menacing and keep attention off 'em!"

It was closed-up, but she felt some responsibility for her frame. The fact she was going to likely kill people operating so much stuff wasn't as bothering. These were enemies to the Astral Vanguard, after all!

Karuah was somewhat surprised at Altair's sudden departure even with the orders coming in, but the systems of the Reavr would safely handle the shut down of the VNS so it wasn't like she needed to inform him on how to do it. She could act on her orders immediately however and packed away her supplies in her own VNS before switching back to ARMS and flying towards New Veyrin station.

New Veyrin Space Station

Karuah made a quick approach and landed Saeid near Lotus. She personally did not like ground combat, but her scores were good enough to pass and she's only gotten better sense, so she did have a measure of confidence in herself. Once her landing was complete she detached herself form the physical connections and let out a sigh. She then took her capacitors and affixed them to her belt and pulled out her Laiz Pistol and her Faelraig. Normally heavier weapons would be used in an infantry operation, but along with these light weapons Karuah had 2 high explosive grenades and 2 flash bangs as well as a small simple tool kit. She was after all a mechanist before a soldier.

Once she was geared up she stepped out and headed over to Padme. "I'm ready whenever you are."

Commander Naak had said in her initial speech, before commencing the skirmish, that this wouldn't be a fair battle. To a certain extent Samjaya knew this was said in service of her broader point, that the campaign against the New Veyrin Republic...against the whole of the Iromakuanhe disapora would be better contexualized as a effort of uplifting. It was also true in a much more concrete sense. The forces they had arrayed against them were paltry comapared to the state of the art frames of the Astral vanguard.

In the span of as many seconds, the Supremacy's ambushed had felled four enemies, leaving only a single one alive to retaliate. Even then, the blast had fruitlessly impacted against the Erla II's shield, engulfed in the same compressed space that had made it's phantoma blade so deadly. Soon, the remaining Soono had found itself cut apart as easily as it's compatiots, and it seemed that Samjaya's hadn't fared much worse. 20 frames had been cut down in record speed by a single unsupported wing, causing only a single retreat by a novice Raevr pilot. It definitely wasn't a fair battle.

The Vaybalri didn't stop to consider that the station might be a worthier bout, as he stopped his frame next to his Lanrary, following behind her with a carbine in his hand, Laiz pistol attached to hip and Falraig sheathed on his back.

New Veyrin Space Station

Padme was behind Naak as the groups made their ways to the airlock nearest them and gave one another terse nods before departing from one another.

Naak made her way through a hallway at a quick sprint before curbing herself as she spotted signage for emergency exit plans that laid out the entirety of the ship.

"Let's make our way to the left, up, and forward. We hit their right flank and are nearly halfway inside, but we need to go a bit further!" She pushed forward, pressing the console for a doorway to open, only to find that on the other side was a troop of enemy combatants.

"Nope!" Ekia pronounced and as she did, Naak tapped the console again, closing the door. She shot at the console twice, blowing it up so that parts sprung loose from it and smoke erupted. She put a finger in the air and twirled it, signaling to turn around. She broke through the group to head it and turned a corner, raced down a hallway, and went down it so that they were again facing the forward of the ship.

A group of three guards rounded the corner they were fast-approaching and Ekia spoke out.

"I got this!" as she pulled the trigger on her pistol a dozen times, slamming each load into the enemy. Stray blasts from the combatants clipped her, but her linksuit protected her, though the shields were down in the areas struck.

Naak nodded to the dark-skinned Sund Wakir before she continued down a long hall that led to an elevator. She jabbed the butt of her carbine against the console to open it and then twisted it around, at the ready to fire. The door opened to show a clear compartment.

"Get in," she commanded the group and when they all were in, with her being closest to the door, she pressed the button for the level the bridge was on.

"We should have one more long hallway before the bridge. It's all a straight shot," she said, taking up the silence while the elevator moved them upwards.

Hallway to the Bridge

When it opened, they were faced with a troop at the ready, all off them outfitted in differing quasi-uniforms, pistols, and carbines much like theirs.

"Open fire!" the New Veyrin commander said loudly.

"Do the same!" Naak yelled out to her wing. She dropped down low to let those of her wing that were behind her fire as she did so herself.

Elsewhere on the Station

Padme rushed her small team forward, towards the CIC.

"Don't bother!" she yelled out to them as a door opened and several guards came out from behind it. She shot them down in two easy shots, straight to the heads.

She then said in a giddy voice, "The next one's on you two!" After they had advanced even further, there were five guards at the ready, pistols pointed at Padme, Karuah, and Irfan.

"Do your worst!" she told her wing mates as she spun around, moving so that she was behind the two Eyr Ranr, giving them both clear shots at the adversaries.

Elsewhere on the Station

Irfan had been following along behind Padme with Karuah, having been quite confident in herself. The quick and easy disposal of two guards hadn't struck any sour notes in her, dashing along with almost the same pep as Padme. When she pulled back, there was no pause in the motion. The small group's leader had shifted back while the Haidan pilot rushed forward. One of their unfortunate opponents flinched at the unnerving act of boldly rushing forward, the woman lowering and sliding to her knee as she pinned him with a burst-pulse from her carbine. The initial impact was so painful that the only sound that came from guard was the sound of burning flesh and attire. The small cluster of impact meant she was at least on point, Irfan cursing and throwing herself with her upper body to the left. Rippling of the shots impacting her link suit as two other comrades retaliated was enough to make her snap out of the cool factor.

Coming out of the roll with a thump as she came to her back, she slipped the weapon back along with the firemode selector before she held the finger down on her weapon as the small and agile personal defense weapon rippled the duo's side. She exhausted what must have been half her magazine in the spray-like shifting fire, but both of the now-"deaded" comrades had been struck in the hail of EM energy and were crumpling to the ground with the burning marks and charred smell to prove it. A few of their shots had struck her, of course, her cleavage protection bearing the evidence in her linksuit. She was shifting her aim, of course, but she was confident in her Eyr Ranr companion. Compared to those of the various other cultures, Irfan knew most of her kindred spirits weren't afraid of the daring and adrenaline-fueling grasp of combat!

Hallway to the bridge

A few moments before the encounter with the enemy.

Altair prepared himself mentally for combat. This was always the part of the job that he simultaneously both loved and hated. On the one hand, the rush of adrenaline from normal combat somehow felt amplified in close quarters. Knowing that you could look your enemy in the eyes and that only skill, teamwork, and a healthy dose of luck separated your fate from theirs.

At the same time, taking a life in close quarters was a much more personal thing than snuffing out the source of a sensor signal. Each enemy you killed was a person, just like you. They might have hopes, dreams, a family who misses them. Some of them might hate what you fought for, but just as many might fight in order to support their families, or protect them.

As His group reached the door, Altair remembered how his parents had taught him that all life was precious, to be protected. He reminded himself that killing his enemy would be helping to protect not only his elongated, but also the populace of the body to which he had sworn his duty.

As the door opened and Naak gave the order to open fire, he snapped back to reality, lining up shots and firing on the knees of several of the enemy.

"Drop your weapons! Hands on your head!" Altair bellowed in the manner he had been taught to use to intimidate foes.

Elsewhere on the Station

Karuah never liked operations where she had to run constantly, but having to carry a full tool kit and materials was harder, so it wasn't like she was tired. She simply did not like running around frantically. However she had a job to do and she stuck to it. When they encountered the first two on their own Padme was a bit quicker on the draw than her and took them down fairly swiftly. As they passed she took note of the armor they were wearing, in case of the all too likely encounter in the future.

The encounter with the next batch went a little different, Padme did not bother to initiate and instead stepped back to leave it to Karuah and Irfan. This was no problem for the mechanist though, after all she did not intend to just let others do the fighting. Unlike Irfan though she ducked behind a wall quickly, she did not have a powerful rapid firing carbine to work with, so she took a deep breath and held it for a second bfore stepping out of her cover gun raised. Her first shot went towards a guard weaing chest armor who took advantage of Irfan's flashy opening to try to attack, but was met with a shot to the hand that made them drop their gun. Two more shots quickly followed at their legs and they dropped to the floor.

A quick step behind cover once more allowed Karuah to avoid shots from the fifth combatant as Irfan engaged the other two. Karuah did not want to kill if possible, these were after all Iroma as well, but she did not have time to idle about, and she couldn't let Ifran take too many more shots. She stepped out once more and fired several shots into the breastplate of the guard, forcing them off balance and to stop shooting before the armor finally broke and an energy pulse pierced their chest.

For not the first time in his career in the astral vanguard, Samjaya Devaraga found himself wishing that he had been trained as a Power Armor Operator rather then a Frame Runner. Even without their Frames, the members of Setareh Wing had a number of advantages over the average Iromakuanhe. They were equipped with Laiz weapons, state of the art Solani guns that was capable of incredible rates of fire with devastatingly powerful lasers. Somatic Enhancemnet brought their senses and reflexes o thr bring of what the commonwealth modern biotechnolgy could accomplish, above and beyond even the dedicaed infantry of the Vanguard. Despite their specialities, all soldiers who served the Iromakuanhe's adoped homeland learned to handle themselves in personal combat.

However for as much as he could attribute their success on the field in space too his Wings skills, the truth of the matter was their Soono were far outclassed by the specifications of their frame, with nothing around to use to their advantage. Here the field was far more level, with the entire traversing the belly of the beast. The enemy had familarity and control of the enviorment around it, with the preparation neccesarry to potentially set up ambushes or choke points at every step. While linksuits were adequate protection, they weren't exactly the Vahin's that a dedicated boarding party would usually have access too.

The last bout wasn't fair fight, and he wasn't sure if he should be more frightened of this one being one...or being just as unfair.

The trek up to the last strech leading to the bridge had of course done little to resolve this inner turmoil. On the one hand, they had twice been accosted by enemy forces on their way to their objectives. On the other hand, they were quite swiftly taken care of. They had cut off a squad of troops they ran into, and Naak had cut down three guards in a single burst of her pistol. Samajaya was quietly thankful that he had been assigned to her team.

The scene that unfolded as they made their way down the final stretch seemed to unfold instantly, one moment merely a trudge through tension filled halls while the next volleys of weapon fire filled the room. Naak was shouting at him to fire, and it was no suprise given his history that Altair was quickest on the draw...or that he hoped he could get the enemy to surrender. With praticed ease he had squeezed off a burst of shots at the commander, aiming for the center mass, in order to finish him off first as he was sure the enemy was making priority of there own. He kept the trigger down, making full use of it's Automatic setting and sending suppressive fire down the hall in order to cover for his comrades.

Hallways of New Veyrin Space Station:

As Zoren received the word to move out, he was out in front of the group. "Let's go ladies and gentlemen! Boss lady gave an order!" He said, moving and taking point. At the door he turned and took cover as the guards came around the corner and laid down covering fire. "Watch yourselves." He said as he unleashed a salvo at their attackers. Once the door was open he ordered. "Go go go! I'll cover you!" He said swing his rifle around and sent another salvo down the hallway. As the last soldier was through the door he tossed a grenade down at the attackers and sprinted through...

On the elevator ride up to their stop, he checked over everything, patting his surgical kit to make sure he hadn't taken a round there. He would be pissed if he had to replace any of that very expensive equipment. Once he was satisfied that there were no holes in the bag, he slammed a fresh magazine home and readying himself for the impending battle.

As they stopped, Zoren rushed out into the hallway and took up cover outside the door. As it opened and Altair ordered for them to drop their weapons, and Samjaya opened fired at their commander. "OPEN FIRE DAMN IT!!!" He called as he stood up and with practice efficiency, began firing single shots at the enemy troops. He fired round after round, his SOF training taking over. He had one job, follow Naak's orders. If her orders were to kill these bastards, then they were going to die a horrible death...

Hallway Outside of the Bridge

Because of Sanjaya, the commander of the hostile troop gripped his chest as his knees buckled, the first to be felled. His torso crumpled downward and his body slumped onto the trooper in front of him, who was pushed off balance and, when regaining it, was hit by Zoren's rifle fire. Another two New Veyrin troopers were forcibly knocked to the ground by Zoren and didn't get back up, either. Those surrounding the commander were taken out by Sanjaya's blasts. One by one and in pairs, the troop was being decimated.

Altair's words had gotten through to some of them, though, and they began to lay down their weapons.

"Ease back! Cease fire!" Naak Behea said emphatically over the sound of carbines and rifles. Then she bellowed, "Bind them up!"

Ekia came forward and put bindings on the hands of those that were still alive, then moved bodies to clear a path between those that had died.

Naak strode through the walkway made by Ekia and when she got to the doors to the bridge, turned to her cohorts. "Ekia and Sanjaya, kill anyone that moves. Zoren, I want you to find the commander and secure them at once. Get them away from controls. Altair, get anyone in immersion pods removed."

Pushing the console, she entered the bridge.

Elsewhere on the Station

Karuah's shot pushed the guard back and Padme sprung up onto her toes and moved in front of Kaurah's view before she could see the guard's last movements to say, "Splendid! You're doing great!" Padme then turned to Irfan, knee-length black hair waving in the air as she did and said, "Three is one more than me! I'm impressed!" Padme ran ahead, then looked back and waved her arm for them to follow. She gripped a corner of the hallway and peeked around, then popped her head back towards them.

"All clear!"

She pushed forward, down the hallway, with the two Eyr Ranr at her heels. She peeked down another hallway and shook her head when she turned back to the women with her. The three nodded almost simultaneously to one another. Irfan, who was quick to the draw, shot down one of the hostiles while Karuah incapacitated two quickly and with ease. Padme blasted the last of them and the small section of the Setareh Wing pressed on.

An oppressive-looking Iromakuanhe man that was dressed in long, draping grey coat that had gold chains that linked up from the shoulders to the collar, came marching from a doorway just yards away from the Astral Vanguard pilots and FIOMNI. Behind him were a half dozen armed guards.

The man in the coat moved to grab Padme by the arm, but she stepped out of his way faster than he could grab. Irfan raised her gun, poised to shoot the man, when a guard raised his own gun and aimed it at Song. The man in the gilded coat then snapped a finger and another guard behind them pointed his gun at Karuah, while a third pointed his gun at Padme, who was closest to them. The barrel of the carbine rested against her cheek.

He said with a snide undertone as he looked over Padme, "Who made you so pretty? Blue horns? You must be a Synthoid."

She twisted her hand up and around the gun pointed at her and yanked it from the grip of the guard while pushing her own gun into his side. His carbine clattered to the ground and while it did, the man that had spoken pushed his hand against her throat and brought her off of her feet, sliding her against the wall of the hallway. The other guards took a step forward as this happened. As Padme looked into his scolding eyes, grabbing at his fingers with her free hand, he spoke again.

"You were so close to the CIC, too. Shame."

She moved her carbine to point it at his stomach and pulled the trigger, pushing him off of her with the blast. He stumbled backwards, clutching his belly with a gasp. The guards looked ready to shoot.

New veyrin Station Bridge

Altair strode over to the immersion pods, pressing the button to open them all at once. Those inside were unarmed. Hopefully they won't make any further violence necessary. There's been enough death today. He thought.

"Step out of the pods!" Altair spoke in a calm but authoritative tone. "Keep your hands on your head and sit on the ground. Violence is not what anyone wants." Altair kept his weapon lowered, but ready to snap up if anyone tried anything.

Elsewhere on the Station

The man in the coat gave Karuah quite the chill. He was probably an officer and didn't seem the least bit afraid of them. As much as the Eyr Ranr mechanist wanted to make a move to free Padme from the man's grip, she couldn't with all the soldiers that stood before them, she'd have been filled with holes in an instant, so she waited for her moment, her pistol lowered to not show hostility. Once Padame made her move however, Karuah did as well, her pistol didn't have the killing potential to match 6 carbines, so she didn't bother with kills and as quickly as she could without having to lift her pistol high shot at the legs of the soldiers, hoping to throw them off balance. Without a pause in her actions she made a dash for Padme and grabbed her, pulling her back to get around a corner or something to provide cover.

Elsewhere on the Station

Suffice to say, Irfan was cussing at the top of her lungs once the shots rang out. The woman was very quick to mirror that similar low-but-quick raise of her weapon while falling back. Her own carbine would open fire at full-auto to try and shower the guards. The only one she didn't outright try to knock down in the volley was the coat-wielding fellow. Unlike the rest who were all aimed-body shots, she'd tag the man's concealed rump in her retreating assault. Karuah making such a hostile action so quickly was likely going to have Irfan tanking a good bit of damage, but if they made it out of this she'd be groping the gal's shapely posterior until Song was nice and satisfied. All the same, she kept backing up and firing blindly in an effort to both dish out the hurt and suppress the larger group... because as she'd near cover it would very likely be once her weapon was exhausted and force her to use some other arsenal until it could be recharged.

Elsewhere on the Station

Karuah successfully got the FIOMNI out of danger as she swept her away from the guards and chilling man. Irfan's shots landed as some rained down on her. She was hit in some of the same spots she had been shot before and the linksuit's shields had dissipated to the point where she was feeling the scorching heat of pain of the blasts against her skin. Some great amount of prajna was going to be necessary to heal those wounds. But healable, they were.

Grabbing hit own butt, instead of his stomach, now, the man in the long grey coat spat at the floor of the station. It left a red stain on the ground as he yelled out at them.

"You think you'll stop us, but you won't! We only get stronger!"

"Azubha Daurjana, to the bridge!" came a quick announcement and the man in the coat looked up at hearing his own name, then around at the guards that were rounding the corner, yelling at them.

"Get me to an escape pod!" At their hesitance, he yelled, red spittle forming on the edge of his mouth as he did, "Now!"

The CIC Room

Padme had resumed walking on her own and ran them to the CIC room, where she began instructions, "Karuah, use your tools to get them out of the locked immersion pods! Irfan, be ready to shoot if they don't comply!"

Linking up to the NI of the station via her entry ports, she began talking to it. "I know, I know you're hurt. I know, we did that to board the station. The Iromakuanhe you have been under the command of are not your friends. They are enemies of the Astral Commonwealth and must be brought into the fold."

The NI purged its feelings of discontent over the situation, over Padme, over the entirety of the Commonwealth.

New Veyrin Space Staion Bridge

Those in immersion pods were locked in and weren't coming out. The soldiers in the bridge, of which there must have been twenty or more, had defensive postures and gun held at the ready, aimed and pointed.
