RP: Setareh Wing [Mission One] Metal on Metal

New Veyrin Space Staion Bridge

"Aye Aye." Zoren replied to Naak as he moved into the bridge. He hefted his rifle and moved further into the bridge. "Alright where is your CO!" He called out.

Rich brown legs were the first thing Zoren would see as the Commander of the New Veyrin Space Station turned in her chair. The Commander was wearing a slitted red dress and had spiraling back curled hair that hung to the tips of her breasts. She looked to the soldiers flanking her and then to the doctor before speaking in a smooth, sultry voice that sounded refined and elegant, not something to be expected out of an enemy of the Commonwealth.

"They'll kill you if you try to take me," she said.

The doctor stood still as he scanned the room. "Impressive loyalty. How did you whip these losers into shape? Must've had a good NonCom, cause no officer could do this." He asked, stalling for time.

The guards stiffened at the slight and they began to take defensive postures, as the rest of the soldiers on the bridge had taken.

The woman, who had skin the color of creamed coffee and brilliant green eyes, smiled at one of her guards and nodded. At that, the guard opened fire on Zoren.

The doctor dove for cover firing as he did. "Well hell. All I did was ask a question!" He yelled back at the commander as he pulled out his pistol and began firing with both weapons, firing with precision despite the circumstances.

Zoren was able to duck out of the way of the enemy's fire and took down two of the guards to either side of the woman, missing her entirely. They crumpled to the ground, though the hand of one of them fell to her thigh, resting there as he lay dying. She picked up the index finger of the guard and removed the hand, letting it drop to the ground. Another was felled and then another, who fired a round as his dying deed straight at Zoren's head. The shot only nearly missed his skull, but clipped one of Zoren's horns, shearing it. Zoren was out of danger for the moment, as the soldiers were out of his line of sight from where he was behind the consoles.

The Commander drew a remaining guard in close and said, "Get General Daurjana."

"He's not responding to comms, right now."

"What?!" she stood up and looked around herself, then eased back into the chair and sat down in it. "Begin phase five emergency protocols."

The guard connected his entry points to the neural interface closest to him and the lights in the room grew red and the woman smiled, contented. More guards would soon enter the bridge.

He reloaded his weapons and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. He slipped around a console and jumped out, firing directly at the commander.

The lone guard nearest the Commander moved to protect her, but the blast had already moved to its destination. With an eruption of bone, blood, and brain matter, the shot had landed against the forehead of the woman. Her body slumped in the chair immediately and the guard turned to look at Zoren, astounded. He was still connected to the ship's neural interface and gave out the warning that the Commander was dead.

The soldiers on the bridge started to fire at the group that was made up of Sanjaya, Ekia, and Naak when the announcement was made. Unbeknownst to some of them, Altair was already at the first immersion pod, though one of the soldiers turned to his location and yelled at him.

"Stop, drop your weapon and surrender!"

By the immersion pods

Preoccupied as he was by the pods, Altair didn't notice the soldier until they spoke.
Upon hearing the soldier's instructions, Altair complied, allowing them to draw close before kneeing them in the stomach, and then, snatching his pistol and carbine from the ground, shot both of their arms with the former.

Altair had gotten several Iromakuanhe out of the pods and on the ground before he and the attacker had begun their brawl.

After Altair had struck him, the soldier knelt to the ground, grasping at his weapon, but unable to do much besides the motion of trying to pick it up. After a moment of this, he passed out from the pain and fell face first into the floor. Another soldier shot at Altair after seeing his comrade fall, hitting his linksuit several times in the chest to the point where Altair could feel the searing hot pain. Naak, ready to protect her Wing, shot him down succinctly and yelled out to Altair.

"Keep doing what you're doing! We need them out of those pods and tied up! We need full control of the space station!"

Elsewhere on the Bridge

Naak looked between the dead commander and the doctor and said to him in a voice that carried over the melee, "You're doing the Saints' work, Zoren! Now relay a message to the station to have them lay down their arms!"

With that, she continued shooting down the New Veyrin Republic soldiers.

The pain burned, but Altair tuned it out as he had been trained. They could wait until later. After opening the other pods and cowing the occupants, he dashed toward the group of soldiers that had shot at him, which also happened to be the one that Naak was in a firefight with. As he reached them, he dropped down into a slide, sweeping the legs out from underneath one before rising up to smack another with the butt of his carbine.

The CIC Room

"Ooof~... wish you hadn't shot first without giving me some time to think..."

Irfan was, for better or worse, now injured and had one hand clutching the ones. She'd probably have some cool, sexy scars instead of gross ones if she scarred. Part of her had wanted to laugh when her shot had scorched the man's ass, but the burns had seen to it that the linksuit-wielding woman was anything but chuckling. She did move over to a nearby wall to lean against it. The carbine went down only to be replaced by her rifle as her mood soured enough to warrant her larger and likely lethal weapon. After this, she was definitely going to bend Karuah over a table and spank her for both her own pleasure and to punish the woman. Any sort of negotiation was out the window with their opponents and they were still outnumbered and likely to be chased.

"Let's just hurry up! I'd rather not stay around and have to risk getting hit more! Pft... stupid... idiots... shooting me!? I'd rather shoot all of their asses so they can't sit down without feeling any pain!"

Zoren aimed his weapon at the lone guard, stepping out of cover. "Dont even think about it." He said to him, motioning for him to put his gun down. He quickly closed the gap between them and then grabbed the man by the neck and slammed him into the console.

"You are wasting my time..." He ripped the communications plug from the man's port and plugged himself in to the station's communications array.

"This is Vaytulri Tarkus Zoren of the Astral Vanguard. Your commanding officer is dead, your station is in ruins, and we have an entire strike force sitting outside this station as we speak. Now you can keep fighting, and die like dogs. Or lay down your arms and be treated with the respect all POWs are granted under the Commonwealth. If you continue to fight, I will not hesitate to vent every block of this station block by block, until you all die from hard vac. Your choice." He said waiting for a reply.

CIC Room

"Sorry about that, I was worried they'd fire on us before we could act." She made her way over to the pods, readying a few tools. "I don't think these guys are going to be very friendly, so keep your weapons ready. I only have two hands so I wont have my gun out." After she spoke she worked on the console for a moment, she wanted to make sure that they weren't in the middle of anything that a forceful ejection wouldn't leave them brain dead. Once that was situated she moved over to the and fiddled a little with the power lines to shut them all down at once and give them a little immersion shock so they couldn't get up right away. "And pods are down."

Elsewhere on the Ship

Those in the space station that were New Veyrin began to lay down their arms and put their hands up, surrendering.

General Daurjana, the man in the gilded grey coat, found himself an escape pod and was off the station before it could be boarded further by the Astral Vanguard.

CIC Room

Those in the pods came out peacefully and with their hands stretched towards their heads, having heard the broadcast and understood what Padme was telling the NI. Padme resumed her delicate dialogue with the ship and, resignedly, it gave over command of the station to her. She used the MASC drive to report to the Sengraiv and they gave the orders for their assault frigates to dock. The operation on their end was complete.

Soon, they heard Zoren's broadcast and the Astral Vanguard girls looked towards one another, sharing in the feeling of accomplishment.

"This is Padme," she chirped out as she accessed the comms of the station. "We have the CIC Room!"

The Bridge

Each of the New Veyrin guards and soldiers that were fighting laid down their weapons. The one that Altair had swept the legs of had been getting to his feet, but instead knelt as he heard the broadcast. The other that had been hit with the butt of the carbine had fallen as it made impact with his face and laid on the floor, shaken, holding the side of his head with one hand as his other reached for his pistol.

Padme's broadcast could be heard as Naak's foot landed on his hand. Naak pushed it against the trigger guard with her heel. He yelped in pain and she pushed harder, then released the pressure before pushing his shoulder, rolling him away from his pistol. She got his hands behind him and tied him up, then yelled out to her wing.

"Wrap it up! Mission success, Setareh Wing!"
