This Plot, MOMMA (Mobile Organized Military Medical Association), was inspired by the classic TV-show M*A*S*H, but only very loosely.
It does follow a group of doctors on their never ending mission to save the lives of injured soldiers, but the members of MOMMA aren't part of any 'formal' military unit.


They are to be a conglomeration of civilian, mercenary, and ex-military; doctors, nurses, technicians, combat medics, marines, and pilots (along with many other professions!)
Their continuing mission is simple, ensure the continued life of anyone, and everyone they can -For a 'small' price

Wouldn't it be nice to have someone not shooting at you for once?

There will be blood, plenty of it, just as likely to be your patient's as it is yours. Action will be almost constant, and Drama is likely.

When you start crying, MOMMA comes running!

The Red Cross meets mercenary group, this plot is to be very player driven. Missions are likely to be very fast-paced, after all the characters will be tasked with saving lives anywhere from active war zones, to crime-infested streets. Your job will not be easy, but it will be very rewarding.
There's something in this plot for everyone!
I'm looking for any type of character, heavily leaning towards characters with ex-military and/or a medical background. There's room for 'newbie' characters and non-combatants alike, but I'd much prefer to fill Active Medical and Armed Escort positions first!

As planned there will be plenty of time for self-paced character and organizational development, I'm going to be encouraging lots of side-threads and JPs.
As is, this plot will be open to anyone and everyone, characters can come from any species/faction that would reasonably make sense.
Currently this plot is still in the works, but I'd very much like to know interest before I start putting in the extra work.
Any and all ideas are encouraged!

The planned Rating for this plot is: 3/1/3
GM Posts will be made as often as often as possible, and at least once a week.
Players will be expected to post as often as possible, and at least once a week.

What conflict will be generating all these injuries?
 
At the moment, I don't have a solid idea, just a broad scope of different combat scenarios.
I'll start off with something simple, like a crashed ship, likely involve some pirates.
I'm hoping at some point to do something larger scale, and hopefully maybe even do a crossover somewhere around the site!- There's a lot of opportunity with this for that.

Keeping in mind that this plot revolves a lot around medical and combat situations, between the actual medical procedures and the whole being shot/exploded thing.

And now that I look back at the rating guide, I should probably scale the violence rating back to 2, or do you think 3 is a better fit? I'm kinda on a ledge about it.

Probably depends on how much blood and guts you can stomach in a medical rp. (shrug) As for conflicts, probably could do something with the kuvexian war, i think the kodian civil war is still going on, lorath might be a flashpoint soon, etc.
 
This is neato bambino! I'd let you crossover with one of my plots if we worked out all the details!
