Vaikon approached the Green Ocean. He had heard about it from his trainers and other marines, but had never visited. The Green Ocean was a bar in Funky City where, supposedly, most of the Marines on shore leave hung out.
Vaikon looked down and adjusted his outfit, wearing a simple leather jacket, a brown T-Shirt, and loose jeans. He then opened the door and entered, looking around. The bar was filled with Marines of all sorts, from Sergeants to Officers.
A few men glanced at him and returned to their discussions, or in many cases their drinks. There were several booths lining the walls, and tables filling the space between the bar and the booths. Vaikon walked forward, approaching the bar and feeling a slight bit uneasy.
He sat down, looking at the other marines before ordering a drink. He took a moment to observe the establishment. Almost everything in the interior was brown or burgandy, although there were many drapes and such that were colored green.
Vaikon overheard several marines to his right comparing the M3 and M2 Assault Rifles, and a group to his left exchanging war-stories about the Rok'Veru Offensive. As the bartender handed him his drink, he sipped on it and leaned back, wondering what to do now.
