The Gingans are the only sentient race in the Federal Euiapan Republic, originating from the planet Gingan, in the Euiapa System. Based on the ideals of Federal service and the equality of all Sentient beings, the Gingans attempt to expand, peacefully or aggressively, for their own goals. Being the good guys is just a perk.

==== Colonial Days(and Evolution) ====
The Gingans are descendents from the original colonists of the planet. The Gingans.
Being from a Generation ship, the Gingans initially had acces to tech similar to Early 21st century earth, and began improving to where they had STL in system space flight regularly. However, due to a unforseen solar flare, they entered a dark age that lasted for about half a millenia
==== Dark Age(Or Something like it) ====
The Gingan Dark, lasting from GY 121 to GY 752, was a dark time for Ginga. With the entire planet reduced to nineteenth century tech, there were a series of wars betwen the various nationstates, eventually just settling into a rough peace. A peace which was shattered by the outbreak of three succesive wars, each a three decades or so after the other. While the lost life was horrible, the Gingans technology was bootjumped ahead by these conflicts. Eventully, in GY 700, the first Island-type orbital habitat was finalised, and mass production was started in orbit, signifying the end to the dark age.A new world governing body, the Unified National alliance was formed. However, a new threat was out there...
==== First Space War ====
On the newly constructed colonies, anti-government rebels began a revolt, managing to seize a large arsenal of ships and weapons.In an attempt to take out the Unified Alliance leadership, the rebels dropped a colony on Ginga, but missed and hit a major city, causing massive casualities. Appaled by this horrific act, a massive surge of Gingans rushed to sign up. Using their newfound military strength, along with a series of intelligent commanders, the Unified Alliance, now renamed to the Euiapan Federal Republic, managed to end the war before the rebels could drop another colony, albeit with massive casualities on both sides. Following the war, a new constitution was drafted, setting up a bicameral legislature, an executive branch, and a supreme court. The colonies were given fair treatment, and plans were drafted to colonise the rest of the Euiapa system.
==== New Expansion ====
Following the end of the First space war, the Federal Republic began their colonisation of the rest of their solar system. Beginning with the construction of a Space Elevator, which was then followed by a permanant moonbase. The Space Elevator was used to produce and load colony ships heading for the other terrestrial planets: Orjana(a Desert planet, further from Euiapa than Ginga) and Jucna(A fertile planet, closer to the sun than Ginga). Following this stage and the beginning of the barlinforming on Orjana and Jucna, larger colony ships, escorted by warships were sent to the moons orbiting the Gas Giant Giantos: Aquarus(A Water World, with a few island chains), Atlanas(A rocky world of Volcanoes and mountains. Minerally rich), Gurans(Another water world, except with more land than Aquarus), and Schwabia(A Ginga like world, suitable to more advanced colonial developments). Giantos itself was subject to Gas collecting operations, and the establishment of floating cities in it's atmosphere. Euaipa's asteroid belt was subject to mining ops and the creation of asteroid colonies. A new plan, in order to attract friendly races was put into motion. The Federal Spacy constructed, in orbit in the system's kupier belt, a beacon, brodcasting, quiteloudly on Radio and other FTL comm methods, "Hello. We are here. Are you out there?"

The Gingan people, as a whole, belong to one of three factions. The Federal Service, The Church, Or Megacorporations. All of these groups hold equal power in the Federal Congress, keeping the peace with each other, on the surface atleast. It truth, in the shadows, all three factions are constantly striving against each other. This situation, in susect, could change in the future.

Gingan names follow the western First name::Middle Name::Last Name sequence of naming. However, don't expect many Eastern names. Most Gingan officers will have a Sir or Lady infront of their first name; Gingan Church Officials will have a Brother or Sister in front of their names; and there is no such naming scheme in the Megacorps. It is possible, for like say, a Chaplain, to have the title SirBrother.

Gingans will most likely mesh well with most races. As long as other races don't try to enslave/exterminate/consume them.

Gingan language is essentially a fusion of German, English, and French. It has a romantic word and sentence structure.

The best modern earth analouge to Gingan music would be twofold. First would be classical, Symphonic, Orchestral music. The other would be a combination of J-pop, Rythem and Beat,Rock n' Roll, and Techno.

All Gingan sports are extremely active and physically demanding.

The most popular televised sport in Euiapa. Using combat vehicles, such as tanks and powered armor, Teams compete in one of two types of matches: Capture the Flag, and Death Match. There are five leauges: Pro, Pro PA, Pro Tank, Semi-Pro, and Amateur. The sport has a low casualty rates, and there are severe penalties for killing someone.

The Federal Republic has a very sophisticated transportation system throught Euiapa. Planetside, they have a system of planetwide highways, maglev monorails, sealanes, and air-corridors, all leading to each planet's Orbital Elevator or Starport.
In space, they have a network of nav-buoys, marking safe paths from planets, moons, and space stations.

The Federal Republic has a well planned out system wide industrial base. From planetside factories on Orjana and Junca, to Hydrogen collectors on Giantos, and mining operations in the Asteroid belt and Atlanas, and orbital and deepspace factories spread throughout the system, the Euiapan industrial system is well greased and oiled.

The nearly everpresent religous force in the Federal Republic, the Grand Gingan Concordat is a major power player in both your souls, and the Republic's politics. On the surface, it is mostly benevolent, but beneath the velvet sheets, lies the Mysteriach, te Concordats silent inquisitors.

The Gingans are a human derived species, moreso classified as a isolated group which has mutated and evolved seperately, though refusing to give up their humanity. Thus, the name Gingan does not refer to them as a seperate species, but as the people fron Ginga. Just as someone from Elysian, whether being a Plebian or Patrician, would be called an Elysian. Wait. No. I mean, how someone from america, being black or white, is called an American.

=== Electrostatic Sense ===
All Gingans are born with a stronger than average electrostatic field, which extends out from 2 to ten meters, depending on the individual, called the person's "Aura" by Gingans.. Acting as a sort of sixth sense, it allows those untrained in it's precise usage the ability to sense other thinking organics, and a slight enhancement when dealing with machinery and electronics, but can be injured or worse by stronger electronics and electrostatic fields. A trained Gingan can pinpoint and track other sentient beings(But not non-sentients), bend energy attacks slightly, and project feelings onto other empathic beings(Does not work on non-epaths)
=== Skin ===
Gingan skin has slightly more melanin in it than your average european stock human, giving it a darker tint. This is the reason why most Gingans range from a mediterranean skin tone, all the way to dark middle eastern.

As with the skin, Gingan hair has more melanin than a european stock human. Hair color ranges from brunette to a jet black.
=== Eyes ===
Every Gingan eye has it where each eye is differently colored. The reason for this is unknown, however, it is known that the Gingan eye has excellent night vision, and slightly below average vision in normal light. In bright lights, they have to wear some kind of eye protection.

Most Gingans range between 4'9(Female average minimum height) to 6'7(Male Average maximum height), while weighing inbetween 110lbs and 190 lbs for females, and 175lbs and 250lbs for males. The average bust size ranges fro a B-Cup to a D-Cup(American sizes)

==== Conception and Infancy ====
A Gingan child is concieved when a- ok, I'm not gonna go over this. A Gingan pregnancy lasts nine and a half months, followed by the birthing. A gingan is considered an infant until 2 GY of age. During the infancy period, Gingans are babies.

From age 3 to age 11, most Gingans will go through primary schooling, learning about the world around them.
==== Pre-Adulthood ====
This stage, raging from age 11 to age 18. This stage of life is spent with the Gingan developing their own identity, and being taught in schools, being prepared for whatever future they decide for themself.
==== Adulthood ====
Ranging from 19 to 55, this is where the Gingan is free to live their own life. Follow their own carrer path, be their own person.
==== Geriatrics and Death ====
From age 56 to age 150, a Gingan is considered to be old aged. While many Gingans continue to work and serve until around age 70 something, they are not allowed to stay unless they are of great importance to the government. At age 150, most Gingans are dead.
